Abstract

Lakudo District is one of the largest seaweed producing areas in Central Buton District. Based on data from the Fisheries Service of Central Buton Regency (2019) Lakudo District together with East Mawasangka have 1038.63 hectares of effective seaweed land area with a percentage of 38% in Central Buton Regency.This study aims to analyze the factors that influence seaweed supply in Lakudo District, Central Buton Regency. The location selection was carried out purposively with the consideration that this area is one of the central areas for seaweed production in Lakudo District, Central Buton Regency. This research was conducted from September to December 2022 in Lakudo District, Central Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi with 61 seaweed farmer respondents. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variables that affect the supply of seaweed are the price of seaweed, production costs, number of workers and land area. An increase of IDR 1 in production costs will increase the supply of seaweed by 0 Kg. An increase of 1 worker will increase the supply of seaweed by 13.871 Kg. An increase of 1 Ha of land area will increase the supply of seaweed by 585.838 Kg. Keywords: Supply, Farmers, Seaweed.

Abstract

Communication is a daily activity that can never be separated from human life. Communication activities are exchanging messages with people we want to give messages to. So no wonder communication is also very important in the development of the agricultural world. In this study, the formulation of the problem studied is how the process of implementing farmer groups communication in Waihatu village, West Kairatu sub-district. What are the obstacles encountered by farmer group members in communicating with other farmer group members in Waihatu Village, West Kiaratu District. How is the solution to maintain the effectiveness of communication between members of farmer groups and other farmer groups in the village of Waihatu? with other farmer groups in Waihatu village, West Kairatu District. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of communication used by the rice farmer group of Waihatu Village, West Kairatu District. Then Identify the obstacles that are found in carrying out rice farmer group communication in Waihatu Village, Kairatu District.And Explain the strategies that are done to keep farmer group communication effective.The research method used is qualitative and quantitative research. Data collection is done by means of observation, documentation and interviews, and questionnaires then for data analysis techniques using SWOT Analysis Techniques to identify the problems studied. First, the application of communication carried out by the Waihatu Village rice farmer group, on the application of communication effectiveness which includes cognitive, affective, and behavioral aspects. The second obstacles found in the rice farmer group of Waihatu village itself in the form of technical, semantic, and psychological barriers.The third strategy in maintaining effective communication in the waihatu village farmer group is to increase meetings and cooperation between groups as well as the city government and the local agricultural office, increased knowledge also applies to farmers so that communication can be even more effective.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the income of corn farmers at the Puncak Lakude tourist attraction and to determine the contribution of farmers' income from the Puncak Lakude tourist attraction sector to corn farming income. Determining the research location was carried out purposively, this research was carried out from January to February 2022. The number of corn farmer respondents in the Puncak Lakude area was 15 people. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative analysis and income analysis. The results of this research show that the income of corn farmers after Puncak Lakude was IDR 932,433/Ha/MT with revenues of IDR 2,053,333/Ha/MT with total costs of IDR 1,360,900/Ha/MT.

Abstract

The orange commodity is a potential that has an important urgency to be exploited, because it can increase farmers' income and increase export foreign exchange nationally. Amahai sub-district, Waitetes village is one of the citrus producers. Orange farming in Waitetes village is a major advantage for development, because the location of this village is suitable for growing orange fruit and contributes income to farmer households. Oranges are also much-loved by the public as a fresh fruit for consumption. Based on the potential and availability of sufficient land, this village continues to run Siamese orange farming, but farmers in Waitetes village do not have records of farming from the start of production to receipts, and income from their farming. this makes the farming community not aware of the progress of the business they are running. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of Siamese orange farmers' farming income in the village of Waitetes. The samples taken were all Siamese orange farmers, consisting of 18 people. Analysis of the data used is descriptive. The results showed that the average income of Siamese orange farming in Waitetes Village was Rp. 10,731,696/year. The production factors that have the most dominant influence on increasing the income of orange farmers in Waitetes village are land area and production volume. Abstract

This study was designed to examine the factors affecting motivational level of primary school teachers were in tehsil Pindibhatian. Major objectives of the study was to identify the factors responsible for the motivation of The aim of this study was to explore teachers were ’ motivational aspects in the education process. The total numbers of male primary schools in tehsil Pindi Bhattian are 157 and 592 male teachers were are appointed in these schools. Due to the time and resources availability forty (40) schools was selected purposely and three (3) teachers were was selected from each school. So, the number of respondents is 120 teachers using purposive sampling technique. This study was descriptive in nature and for data were collection well structure questionnaire was used. Data were analyzed trough statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). Results of the study showed thatless than half of the respondents were between 31-35 age. Majority of the respondents belonged to urban area. More than one third of the respondents were master. Half of the respondents were having B.Ed. Almost all respondents were agree with the statements that in-service training, financial factors, behavior of head teachers were the major factors that effects the job performance of teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the rice marketing channels and the efficiency of rice marketing in PP. Maju Jaya. This study used a descriptive analysis, margin analysis and marketing efficiency. The determination of the sample of marketing institutions uses the snowball sampling technique to determine the distribution of rice starting from the PP factory. Maju Jaya then looked for distributors involved in distributing the rice. The research that has been carried out obtained the following results; (1) Marketing Channels involved in the rice marketing process from producers to consumers, namely: (a) On channel I PP. Maju Jaya distributes rice directly to Inter Island Traders (b) ) On channel II PP. Maju Jaya distributes rice to wholesalers and then resells it to final consumers and (c) On channel III PP. Maju Jaya distributes rice to wholesalers and then sells it to retailers and resells it to final consumers (2) Percentage of the share of prices received by producers on rice marketing channels by PP. Maju Jaya in channel I is 100%, channel II is 92%, and marketing channel III it is 80% which shows the three marketing channels have been efficient because the percentage of prices received by producers is greater than 50%.

Abstract

Nano materials can be defined as materials possessing, at minimum one external dimension measuring 1-100nm. They include Nano particles, nano fibers, nano suspensions, nano emulsuions, quantum dots and nano composites. Nanocomposite is a multiphase solid material where one of the phases has one, two or three dimensions of less than 100 nanometers or structures having nano- scale repeat distance between the different phases that make up the material. Nano composites are of two types: polymer-based nanocomposites and non-polymer-based nanocomposites.Polymer nanocomposites (PNC) consist of a polymer or copolymer having nanoparticles or nanofillers dispersed in the polymer matrix.Non-polymer-based nanocomposites are also known as inorganic nanocomposites. They can be further classified into metal-based nanocomposites, ceramic-based nanocomposites, and ceramic-ceramic-based nanocomposites. Nano composites can be prepared by in situ polymerization, melt mixing, solution mixing, precipitation, sol-gel process and electrospinning. They can be characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X- ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. Nanocomposites have been growing with a speedy rate so as their large number of applications. In the next 10 years, the worldwide production will exceed 600,000 tons in the following regions: Superior strength fibers and films, UV protection gels, drug delivery systems, new fire-retardant materials, anti-corrosion barrier coatings, lubricant and stretch paints.

Abstract

Capital and the determination of the price of a product have an effect on every business actor, especially in setting the price of the product to be sold. This is because if the price of products sold, such as frozen processed food, increases in price from the previously set price, then there will be a decrease in consumer interest. This study aims to determine the effect of capital and price on the profits of frozen food businesses in Kendari City. The type of data used is qualitative data while the data collection techniques used in this study are direct interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that the effect of capital and price on the profits of the frozen food business in Kendari City indicates that the variables of capital and prices have a simultaneous or joint effect on the profits of the frozen food business in Kendari City. From the results of the t analysis, the capital variable (X1) has no significant effect on business profits (Y). Capital is not the only factor that has an important influence because as an entrepreneur, in the case of a frozen food entrepreneur, you do not have to have large capital in the form of money that can help generate business profits. Meanwhile, from the results of the t-count analysis, the price variable (X2) has a real or significant effect on the profits of the frozen food business in Kendari City.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the marketing channel of sancang bonsai plants in Lamomea Village, Konda Subdistrict, South Konawe Regency, (2) determine the marketing margin of sancang bonsai plants in Lamomea Village, Konda Subdistrict, South Konawe Regency, (3) determine the profit obtained in each marketing channel, (4) determine the efficiency of the marketing channel of sancang bonsai plants in Lamomea Village, Konda Subdistrict, South Konawe Regency. This research was conducted in Lamomea Village, Konda Subdistrict, South Konawe Regency from February to May 2023. This research used descriptive analysis, marketing margin analysis, and marketing efficiency (Farmer's Share). The number of respondents of sancang bonsai plant farmers amounted to 6 people using the census technique, and the collecting trader amounted to 1 person using snowball sampling technique. Based on the results showed that (1) the marketing channel consists of one channel, namely: (a) Farmers® Collectors ®Consumers (2) the marketing margin obtained for small size sancang bonsai plants is IDR.300,000/tree, medium size is IDR.2,000,000/tree, large size is IDR.3,000,000/tree, very large size is IDR.5,000,000/tree. The profit obtained for small size sancang bonsai plants is IDR.120.380/tree, medium size is IDR.1,600,380/tree, large size is IDR.2,100,380/tree, very large size is IDR.3,400,380/tree. The percentage of the share of the price received by sancang bonsai farmers is 56% so that the marketing of sancang bonsai plants in Lamomea Village, Konda District, Konawe Selatan Regency runs efficiently because the proportion of the price received is >50%.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) know the profit of marketing Patchouli oil in Mata Usu District, Bombana Regency, and 2) todescribe the risks of n ilam oil marketing in Mata Usu District, Bombana Regency. This research was carried out in Morengke Village, Mata Usu District, Bombana Regency. The number of samples in this study consisted of 16 patchouli distillery business industry owners, 4 collecting traders, and 2 marketing institutions. The determination of samples is carried out by the census method, which is to take the entire population to be used as a research sample while teknik determination of samples in collecting merchants or marketing institutions is carried out with snowball sampling techniques because the number is not yet known how many.The data analysis used is marketing margin analysis and risk analysis. The results showed that 1) the profit obtained by each patchouli oil marketing institution in Morengke Village was a trader (a) collector of Rp32.739.040 per month; (b) wholesalers amounting to Rp80.023.068 per month, 2) type of risiko in patchouli oil marketing in Morengke Village, Masa Usu District, Bombana Regency, among others, the quality of patchouli oil is low at the purchase stage caused by high acid and pH levels are in the medium risk category, the risk event in patchouli oil discoloration is at the storage stage due to too long storage, low temperature conditions, the use of patchouli oil storage containers are not suitable to be in the medium risk category, the occurrence of erratic price risk is at the storage stage caused by poor oil quality, traders accommodate patchouli oil are in the high risk category, and 3) upaya company in overcoming the risks faced on the risks Patchouli oil sales are carried out by strengthening marketing management and discussing with competitors a good marketing process without having to commit sales fraud by analyzing market competition and competitor performance in order to create a competitive market properly
