Kepodang 67 A Kebumen 54312 e-mail: Dewiristi36@yahoo.com Abstract: The Using Flat Shape Media In Improving The Understanding Of Fractions Number 3th Grade Students State Elementary School Banjarsari Academic Year 2011/2012. The purpose of this study was to describe the use of flat shape media, barriers, and solutions using flat shape media in promoting students' understanding of fractions Ban-jarsari Elementary School third grade student in academic year 2011/2012. This research belongs to Class-room Action Research. This research was implemented in 3 cyclics. There were 3 meeting in each cyclic, which is consists 4 stages, they were planning, implementation, observation, reflec-tion. The results showed that through the use of appropriate flat shape media is to increase understanding fractions number third grade student. Key words: flate shape media, fraction number   Abstrak: Penggunaan Media Bangun Datar Dalam Peningkatan Pemahaman Bilangan Pecahan Siswa Kelas III SD Negeri Banjarsari Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012. Tujuan peneli-tian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media bangun datar, hambatan, dan solusi penggunaan media bangun datar dalam peningkatkan pemahaman bilangan pecahan siswa ke-las III SD Negeri Banjarsari tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Penelitian ini berupa Penelitian Tinda-kan Kelas. Penelitian  ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Masing?masing siklus terdiri dari 3 pertemuan, yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penggunaan media bangun datar secara tepat da-pat meningkatkan pemahaman bilangan pecahan siswa kelas III.   Kata Kunci: media bangun datar, bilangan pecahan

Padmono2, Tri Saptuti Susiani3, FKIP, PGSD Universitas Sebelas Maret e-mail: galieh@mail.com Abstract: The Influence Of Reading Skills And Interests Subject Toward The Ability To Solve The Mathematical Story Question Of The V Grade Elementary School At Distric Of Somagede Academic Year 2010/2011. The purpose of this study is to find out: (1) the effect of reading skills on performance in solving mathematical story question of V grade of all Elementary Schools at  District of Somagede Academic Year 2010/2011;(2) the effect of students' interest in mathematic subject toward ability to solve mathematical story question of V grade and (3) the effect of students' reading skills and interest in mathematics together toward ability to solve mathematical story question of V grade. The method used is correlational survey method with quantitative approach. The population is all students of  V grade of Elementary School in District of Somagede, Regional of  Banyumas amount 22 schools. Samples were taken by random sampling technique of multi-stages of four schools that were divided into two areas namely highland areas and plains. The data was collected technique with test and survey techniques. Data analysis techniques used are simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of hypothesis testing can be concluded that: (1) There is effect on the ability of reading skills to solve mathematical story question  of IV grade (2) There is effect on student interest in mathematic subject toward the  ability to solve mathematical story question   (3) There is effect of students' reading skills and interest in mathematics together toward ability to  solve mathematical story question Key words: Effect, Reading Skills, Interests Subject, Mathematical Story Question. Abstrak: Pengaruh Keterampilan Membaca Dan Minat Belajar Matematika Terhadap Kemampuan  Menyelesaikan Soal Cerita Matematika Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Di Kecamatan Somagede Tahun 2010/2011, Skripsi, Surakarta: Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan: (1) Adanya  pengaruh keterampilan membaca terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika kelas V SD Negeri Se Kecamatan Somagede Tahun Pelajaran 2010/ 2011; (2) Adanya pengaruh minat belajar matematika terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika kelas V  (3) Adanya pengaruh keterampilan membaca dan minat belajar matematika bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika kelas V. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survai korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Somagede Kabupaten Banyumas tahun 2010/2011, sejumlah 22 sekolah. Sampel diambil dengan teknik  multi stages random sampling sejumlah 4 sekolah yang dibagi menjadi 2 wilayah yaitu wilayah dataran tinggi dan dataran rendah. Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi ganda. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Ada  Pengaruh signifikan keterampilan membaca terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika kelas V SD Negeri Se Kecamatan Somagede (2) Ada  Pengaruh signifikan minat belajar matematika terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika Kelas V dan (3) Adanya  pengaruh yang signifikan keterampilan membaca dan minat belajar matematika bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika kelas V Kata kunci: Pengaruh, Keterampilan Membaca, Minat Belajar, Soal Cerita Matematika

Abstract

Application of Improved Method of Learning Science Experiments in Class V. This study aimed to describe the steps in the application of the experimental method of learning about the nature of science Light on the SDN Klopogodo fifth grade students, to describe the behavior of students in the following subjects, and to identify improved learning outcomes in science learning about the properties of light in the fifth grade students of SDN Klopogodo by applying the experimental method. This study uses classroom action research conducted in three cycles, each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that the application of the experimental method in science teaching fifth grade can improve measures of learning, the behavior of students in the following subjects, as well as student learning outcomes. Kepodang 67A Kebumen 54312 e-mail: restu_suryana@rocketmail.com 1 Mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UNS 2,3 Dosen PGSD FKIP UNS Abstract: Using Cooperative Learning Study Teams Games Tournament in Increase Mathematics Learning in The Fifth Class Elementary School. This research have purpose to: 1) increase the learning of Mathematics in the fifth class elementary school using cooperative learning types Teams Games Tournament, 2) describe the excesses and shortages of the use of cooperative learning types Teams Games Tournament in improving mathematics learning in the fifth class elementary school. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles, each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data analysis technique consists of three components, that is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results show that the use of cooperative learning Teams Games Tournament type can increase learning of Mathematics in the fifth class elementary school. Keywords: Teams Games Tournament, Mathematics learning   Abstrak: Penggunaan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran Matematika di Kelas V SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) meningkatkan pembelajaran Matematika di kelas V SD dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament, 2) mendeskripsikan kelebihan dan kekurangan penggunaan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament dalam peningkatan pembelajaran Matematika di kelas V SD. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, masing-masing siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari tiga komponen analisis yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran Matematika di kelas V SD.   Kata kunci: Teams Games Tournament, pembelajaran Matematika

Abstract

The purpose of this research are find out what the effect of rehearsal and interference on retention in mathematics learning student of fourth grade Elementary School in District Puring. This research used experimental method. Analysis of the data using two-way analysis of variance to test the hypothesis by Scheffe test, which previously held test requirements analysis includes tests of normality using Chi Square test is used to test the state of the sample distribution, and homogeneity test using the Bartlett test. Based on the results of the research  can be included that there is effect of rehearsal and interference in improving retention in mathematics learning student of fourth grade Elementary School in District Puring.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penggunaan media gambar dalam pembelajaran menulis ekspresif di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi.  Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sidomukti tahun ajaran 2011/2012 yang berjumlah 18 siswa, terdiri dari 10 laki-laki dan 8 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Validasi data menggunakan teknik triangulasi instrumen. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa  penggunaan media gambar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis ekspresif siswa di Sekolah Dasar. Kata Kunci: Media gambar, Keterampilan menulis ekspresif.

Abstract

Edi Sarwono1, Imam Suyanto2, Harun S. Budi3   Abstract: The use of methods of inquiry in improving mathematics learning about shape on Elementary School fifth grade students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of methods of inquiry in mathematics learning especially in the shape of material in elementary school fifth grade. This study uses classroom action research method. Research was conducted in three cycles. Results show, the use of inquiry method can improve learning outcomes of the mathematics abaut a shape.   Keywords: Inquiry Metod, Learning Matematic, a shape.   Abstrak: Pengunaan Metode inkuiri dalam peningkatan pembelajaran matematika tentang bangun ruang pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pengunaan metode inkuiri dalam pembelajaran matematika khususnya pada materi bangun ruang di kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus.
