Abstract

The result of research showed that: (1) the logistic management proceeded well without very disrupting problem/constraints. The implementation of logistic management from planning to the set logistic control, either discipline in administration or order in performing it, thereby minimizing the fault and gap in company, (2) the constraints encountered in the implementation of logistic management in Mart KPRI TEGAP SMSE of Ponjong Gunungkidul Yogyakarta included: (a) delayed merchandise delivery; (b) Less Developing Administrative Computer Technology, (c) less planned Warehouse building and layout, (d) simple transportation vehicle. (3) The solution to deal with the constraints in the implementation of logistic management in Mart KPRI TEGAP SMSE of Ponjong Gunungkidul Yogyakarta included: (a) to increase the number of merchandise supplier, (b) to improve the administrative computer technology, and (c) to renovate the warehouse building and to revise the warehouse layout, and (d) to provide Hand Palet.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research objectives are: (1) to investigate any factors influencing individual difference in the stenography learning process; (2) to investigate any methods used by teachers in handling individual difference; (3) to investigate any hindrances faced by teachers in  the individual difference handling, (4) to investigate teachers? efforts to cope with any hindrances in handling individual difference. This research is conducted in a qualitative approach.  The sources of data comprise informants, research site, as well as documents and archieves. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) the factors influencing individual difference are: differences in family background, cognitive or intelligence, learning readiness, students? perception and interest in stenography as a subject; (2) teachers? methods to in handling are giving counselling to students, modifying various teaching methods, establishing amall peer groups in the classroom, being aware of students? competence difference, implementing modul learning system, givin aperception before starting stenography learning, giving home assignments for students to be well-prepared of the materials; (3) the hindrances in handling are the learning process is conducted classically so that proper guidance can not be done maximally, it is difficult to determine the most appropriate teaching method, it ias also difficult to pay a close attention to students? competence difference because o their large number in a class, not every students can understand modul system learning, students barely listen thoroughly to teachers? aperception, and they sometimes do not accomplish stenography tasks geven to them; (4) Teachers? efforts to cope with the hindrances in handling individual difference in the stenography learning processare giving conselling to them during school hour break, asking for students? feedback, establishing peer groups based on students? learning interest, doing some approach and communication to students in the classroom, giving personal guidance, underpinning students in the aperception process, and monitoring students? learning activities. Keywords: individual difference, teachers? handling, Stenography subject matter.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the effect of the teacher teaching variation on the Student Learning Motivation in the XI Grade of State Vocational High School 1 of Banyudono In Academic Year 2012/2013, (2) the effect of the learning environment on the Student Learning Motivation in the XI Grade of State Vocational High School 1 of Banyudono In Academic Year 2012/2013, and (3) the effect of the teacher teaching variation and learning environment simultaneously on the Student Learning Motivation in the XI Grade of State Vocational High School 1 of Banyudono In Academic Year 2012/2013.This research used the descriptive quantitative research method. The population of the research was all of XI graders of State Vocational High School 1 of Banyudono in Academic Year 2012/2013 as many as 287. The sample was taken using proportional random sampling consisting of 72 students. Method of collecting data used. Meanwhile, technique of analyzing data used was  multiple regression analysis with the analysis of the prerequisite test normality, linearity, and independence test.The results of the research are as follows: (1) there is a significant effect of teacher teaching variation on the student learning motivation in the XI Grade of State Vocational High School 1 of Banyudono In Academic Year 2012/2013. It could be seen from the rcount > rtable value or 0.502 > 0.232 at significance level of 5%. The relative contribution of 41.99% and effective contribution of 20.97%.  (2) there is a significant effect of learning environment on the student learning motivation in the XI Grade of State Vocational High School 1 of Banyudono In Academic Year 2012/2013. It could be seen from the rcount > rtable value or 0.574 > 0.232 at significance level of 5%. The relative contribution of 58.01% and effective contribution of 28.98%. (3) there is a significant effect of teacher teaching variation and learning environment simultaneously on the Student Learning Motivation in the XI Grade of State Vocational High School 1 of Banyudono In Academic Year 2012/2013, because Fcount > Ftable or 34.429 > 3.13 at significance level of 5%.The statistical analysis shows that the regression equation is ?= -33.763 + 0.582 X1 + 0,516X2, so that it could be concluded that the student learning motivation (Y) will increase or decrease by 0.581 for each increase or decrease of one unit teacher teaching variation (X1) and by 0.516 for that of one unit learning environment (X2). Keywords: teacher teaching variation, learning environment, learning motivation

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the effect of the teacher?s pedagogical competency on the learning achievement in Operating-the-Software-Application subject matter of the students of the Department of Office Administration of State Vocational High School 1 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013;  (2) the effect of the learning facility on the learning achievement in Operating-the-Software-Application subject matter of the students of the Department of Office Administration of State Vocational High School 1 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013; and (3) the simultaneous effect of  the teacher?s pedagogical competency and the learning facility on the learning achievement in Operating-the-Software-Application subject matter of the students of the Department of Office Administration of State Vocational High School 1 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013. This research used the descriptive quantitative research method. The population of the research of the students in Grades XI and XII as many as 150. The samples of the research were 108 students. The samples were taken by using the stratified random sampling technique based on the table of Krejcie-Morgan with the error level of 5 %. The data of the research were gathered through questionnaire and documentation. They were then analyzed by using the multiple linear regression analysis aided by the computer program of SPSS 17.The results of the research are as follows: (1) there is a significant effect of the teacher?s pedagogical competency on the learning achievement in Operating-the-Software-Application subject matter of the students of the Department of Office Administration of State Vocational High School 1 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012-2013 as indicated by the value of rcount= 0.443 > that of rtable = 0.187; (2) there is a significant effect of the learning facility on the learning achievement in Operating-the-Software-Application subject matter of the students of the Department of Office Administration of State Vocational High School 1 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012-2013; as shown by the value of rcount = 0.427> rtable = 0.187); and (3) there is a simultaneously significant effect of  the teacher?s pedagogical competency and the learning facility on the learning achievement in Operating-the-Software-Application subject matter of the students of the Department of Office Administration of State Vocational High School 1 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012-2013 as pointed out by the value of Fcount = 24.736 >Ftable = 3.083 Keywords:        Teacher?s pedagogical competency, learning facility, learning achievement, and software application.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) whether or not there is a significant effect of job characteristics on the job satisfaction of the employees in Muhammadiyah Hospital of Selogiri, Wonogiri in 2013; (2) whether or not there is a significant effect of individual characteristics on the job satisfaction of the employees in Muhammadiyah Hospital of Selogiri, Wonogiri in 2013; (3) whether or not there is a significant effect of job characteristics and individual characteristics on the job satisfaction of the employees in Muhammadiyah Hospital of Selogiri, Wonogiri in 2013. This research used the survey  quantitative research method. Its population was all functional employees of Selogiri Muhammadiyah Hospital as many as 86 persons. The samples of the research consisted of 47 persons. They were taken by using the stratified proportional random sampling technique. The data of the research were gathered through questionnaire. They were then statistically analyzed by using the correlational and multiple regression analyses. The results of the research are as follows: (1) there is a significant effect of  job characteristics on the job satisfaction of the employees in Muhammadiyah Hospital of Selogiri, Wonogiri as indicated by the value of rcount = 0.451 > rtable = 0.288; (2) there is a significant effect of individual characteristics on the job satisfaction of the employees in Muhammadiyah Hospital of Selogiri, Wonogiri as indicated by the value of rcount = 0.540 > rtable = 0.288; (3) there is a significant effect of job characteristics and individual characteristics on the job satisfaction of the employees in Muhammadiyah Hospital of Selogiri, Wonogiri as indicated by the value of Fcount = 14.602 > Ftable = 3.209. Other finding of the research is the multiple linear regression Y = -19.5 + 0.908X1 + 0.954 X2 meaning that the job satisfaction of the employees in Muhammadiyah Hospital of Selogiri Wonogiri index average will increase or decrease as much as 0.908 every time there is a one-unit increase or a one-unit decrease in the variable of job characteristics, and the job satisfaction index average will increase or decrease as much as 0.954 every time there is a one-unit increase or a one-unit decrease in the variable of individual characteristics. Each independent variable has a contribution to the dependent variable. The relative contribution of job characteristics to the employee?s job satisfaction is 38.2%, and that of individual characteristics to the employee?s job satisfaction is 61.68%. Furthermore, the effective contribution of job characteristics to the employee?s job satisfaction is 15.29% and that of individual characteristics to the employee?s job satisfaction is 24.62%. Keywords: job characteristics, individual characteristics, and job satisfaction, employee

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research aims at investigating whether or not there is: (1) an influence between organization communication toward the working productivity of RSUD employees in 2013, (2) an influence between human resource supervision toward working productivity of RSUD employees in 2013, and (3) an influence between organization communication and human resource supervision toward the working productivity of RSUD Kudus employees in 2013.In relation to its problems and objectives, the research design is descriftive quantitative. The number of the population of the research is 251, and the samples are 45% that is 126 respondents taken by using probability technique of simple random sampling. Moreover, the techniques of collecting data for variable of organization communication (X1), human resource supervision (X2), and employees? working productivity are questionnaire and documentasion technique. Statistics test of multiple regression correlation analysis is used to test the research hypothesis.Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that: (1) there is a significant influence between organization communication toward the working productivity of RSUD employees in 2013. (2) there is a significant influence between human resource supervision toward working productivity of RSUD employees in 2013. (3) there is a significant influence between organization communication and human resource supervision toward the working productivity of RSUD Kudus employees in 2013.Keywords: communication, supervision, working productivity

Abstract

The objective of research was to find out: (1) whether or not there is a significant effect of assignment learning method on main handling course in the X graders of Office Administration Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the school year of 212/2013; (2) whether or not there is a significant effect of learning media on main handling course in the X graders of Office Administration Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the school year of 212/2013; and (3) whether or not there is a significant effect of assignment learning method and learning media simultaneously on main handling course in the X graders of Office Administration Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the school year of 212/2013.This study was a quantitative research with descriptive method. The population of research was all X graders of Office Administration Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the school year of 212/2013 consisting of 79 students. The sample consisted of 44 students. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling. Meanwhile technique of collecting data used was questionnaire and documentation technique. Technique of analyzing data used was statistic test with correlational and multiple regression analyses. Considering the result of data analysis, it could be concluded that (1) there was a significant effect of assignment learning method on main handling course in the X graders of Office Administration Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the school year of 212/2013; (2) there was a significant effect of learning media on main handling course in the X graders of Office Administration Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the school year of 212/2013; and (3) there was a significant effect of assignment learning method and learning media simultaneously on main handling course in the X graders of Office Administration Skill Competency in SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the school year of 212/2013.The multiple linear regression equation was ? = 50.929 + 0.293 X1 + 0.255 X2. The relative contribution of (X1) to (Y) was 53.72% and that of (X2) to (Y) was 46.28%. Meanwhile the effective contribution of (X1) to (Y) was 23.15% and that of (X2) to (Y) was 19.95%. Keywords: assignment learning method, learning media, and learning achievement

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) whether or not there is a simultaneous and partial effect of the factors of salaries, employments, career promotions, supervisors, and co-workers on the work satisfaction with the financial compensation as the moderator variable; (2) which factors have the dominant effect on the the work satisfaction with the financial compensation as the moderator variable. This research used the quantitative descriptive research method. The samples of the research were all of the employeesasa many as 50 empployees. The data of the research were gathered through questionnaire and documentation. They were then analyzed by using the multiple regression analysis aided by the computer program of SPSS 17.The results of the research show there is a simultaneous effect of all the variables and not all of the variables have a partial effect on the work satisfaction with the financial compensation as the moderator variable. Variable of career promotions has the dominant effect on the work satisfaction with the financial compensation as the moderator variable.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) whether or not there is a significant effect of the learning motivation (X1) on the career maturity (Y) of the students in Grade XI of the Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013; (2) whether or not there is a significant effect of the productive subject learning achievement  (X2) on the career maturity (Y) of the students in Grade XI of the Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013; and (3) whether or not there is a significant effect of the learning motivation (X1) and the productive subject learning achievement  (X2) on the career maturity (Y) of the students in Grade XI of the Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013. This research used the descriptive quantitative research method. The population of the research was all of the students in Grade XI of the Office Administration Department as many as 80 students. The samples of the research was 60% or 48 out of 80 students, and were taken by using the proportional random sampling technique. The data of the research were gathered through questionnaire and documentation. They were then analyzed by using the multiple regression analysis aided with the computer program of SPSS 17. The results of the research are as follows: (1) there is a significant effect of the learning motivation on the career maturity of the students in Grade XI of the Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013 as indicated by the value of rcount = 0.422 > that of rtable = 0.285; (2) there is a significant effect of the productive subject learning achievement on the career maturity of the students in Grade XI of the Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013 as shown by the value of rcount = 0.502 > that of   rtable = 0.285; and (3) there is a simultaneously significant effect of the learning motivation and productive subject learning achievement on the career maturity of the students in Grade XI of the Office Administration Department of State Vocational High School 3 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2012/2013 as pointed out by the value of Fcount = 12.116 > that of Ftable = 3.204. The regression equation is ? = 43.8 + 0.275 X1 + 0.228 X2. The relative contribution of (X1) on (Y) is 38.96%, and the relative contribution of (X2) on (Y) is 61.04%. In addition, the effective contribution of (X1) on (Y) is 13.64%, and the effective contribution of (X2) on (Y) is 21.36%. Keywords: learning motivation, learning achievement, and career maturity.

Abstract

The objectives of  this research are  to  investigate: (1)  the correlation between  the use of internet  and  the  learning  achievement  of  the  students  in  Grade  X  of  Vocational  High School  Muhammadiyah  1  of  Sragen  in  Academic  Year  2012/2013;  (2)  the  correlation between  the  learning  activeness  in  peer  group  and  the  learning  achievement  of  the students in Grade X of Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 1 of Sragen in Academic Year 2012/2013; and (3) the correlation of the use of internet and the learning activeness in peer group to the  learning achievement of the students in Grade X of Vocational High School Muhammadiyah  1  of Sragen  in Academic Year  2012/2013.  This  research  used the  descriptive  quantitative  method.  The  population  of  the  research  was  all  of  the students in Grade X of Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 1 of Sragen in Academic Year 2012/2013 as many as 264 students. The samples of the research consisted of 145 students, and they were taken by using the proportional random sampling technique. The data of the research were gathered through questionnaire and documentation. They were then analyzed by using the multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research are  as  follows:  (1)  there  is  a  correlation  between  the  use  of  internet  and  the  learning achievement of  the students  in Grade X of Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 1 of Sragen  in Academic Year 2012/2013 as  indicated by  the value of rcount = 0.420 >  that of rtable  =  0.1371  at  the  significance  level  of  5%;  (2)  there  is  a  correlation  between  the learning activeness in peer group and the learning achievement of the students in Grade X of Vocational High School Muhammadiyah 1 of Sragen  in Academic Year 2012/2013 as shown by the value of rcount = 0.413 > that of rtable = 0.1371 at the significance level of 5%;  and  (3)  there  is  a  simultaneous  correlation  of  the  use  of  internet  and  the  learning activeness  in  peer  group  to  the  learning  achievement  of  the  students  in  Grade  X  of Vocational  High  School Muhammadiyah  1  of  Sragen  in  Academic  Year  2012/2013  as signified by  the value of Fcount = 30.986 >  that of Ftable = 3.06 at  the significance  level of 5%. The multiple linear regression is ? = 51.211 + 0.454 X1 + 0.210 X2. The value of the simultaneous contribution of  the  independent variables  to  the dependent variable  (R2) = 0.304.  The  relative  contribution  of  the  use  of  internet  to  the  learning  achievement  is 50.86%, and that of the learning activeness in peer group to the learning achievement is 49.14%. The effective contribution of  the use of  internet  to  the learning achievement  is 15.45%,  and  that  of  the  learning  activeness  in  peer  group  to  the  learning  achievement is14.93%.
