Abstract

This research is an evaluation study using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Produck). The data?s research come from the quantitative data that is reinforced by the qualitative data. Quantitative data obtained from a sample of students SMKN 5 Surakarta by 289 students through a questionnaire. Qualitative data obtained by interview, observation, and document analysis. Research sample was taken by purposive sampling techniques, such as students, vice-principal,teacher. The next two types of data were analyzed with descriptive analysis. The result research on the use of a school uniform in SMKN 5 Surakarta of every indicators evaluation as follows: (1)Context, (a)the use of school uniforms to discipline students when studying, and solution of the diversity of environmental conditions and socio-economically diverse student, (b)the use of school uniforms create discipline, (c)the use of school uniforms have been planned by the student, cooperatives and assisted by some of the students involved. (2)Input, (a)the basis of the use of school uniforms is sourced from Kep.Dikdasmen. N0. 100/C/Kep/1991, (b)handling capability of the school in the use of school uniforms with the schedule of teachers picket the disciplining of students each will go to the school environment, (c)the use of school uniforms allow the intimidation because students have not participated shoes uniform. (3)Process, there is no discipline students on program activities, so the school (all officers involved) extra work to curb student. (4)Product, (a)the use of school uniforms will continue to be applied in disciplinary program looking students (b)the influence of school uniforms, education that lasts such as Freire says, like bank style education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) To know the effect of CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) roller diameter to engine power on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007, (2) To know the effect of variation of engine rotations to engine power on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007, (3) To know the interaction between CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) roller diameter and variation of engine rotations to engine power on Yamaha Mio Sporty 2007. The research used experimental methods. Techniques of data analysis in this study using the descriptive data analysis graphically illustrates the results of research in the histogram or frequency polygon which connects between the variables. Based the research can conclude that: (1)  Changes in the size of the diameter of the roller CVT 16 mm is capable of producing maximum power peak in the early rounds of the engine so as to generate a lap down to the more powerful. (2) Changes in the size of the diameter of the roller CVT 17 mm produces decreased power because of too rapid movement of the roller is not in accordance with engine speed so that the workload is too imposing received roller CVT. (3) The use of roller diameter of 16 mm on a CVT motorcycle Yamaha Mio Sporty produce maximum power at engine speed earlier and more optimal than the use of CVT roller 15 mm. On the use of 16 mm diameter roller CVT engine produces maximum power of 4.55 hp at 7500 rpm engine speed, while the use of 15 mm diameter roller CVT produce power equal to 4.54 hp at 7800 rpm engine speed. (4) The use of roller diameter of 17 mm on a CVT motorcycle Yamaha Mio Sporty produce too rapid achievement of resources so that maximum power is not optimal. On the use of CVT roller diameter 17 mm produces a maximum power of 4.48 hp at 7700 rpm engine speed. (5) The increase in engine speed can increase the power generated at the wheel axle to the maximum because the larger the engine speed will cause a centrifugal force generated CVT roller so that the greater the power of the machine can be supplied with up to the axle.The increase in engine speed upon reaching the maximum power to the power generated at the wheel axis decreases.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) To determine the level of students' understanding of the material cooling system, (2) To determine the use of multimedia technologies will have an impact in the field of education, so that it must be addressed by creating a new instructional media or develop existing there, (3) To determine the effect of the use of audio-visual media to the increased activity and student learning outcomes in SMK Negeri 1 MondokanSragen. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of: (1) action planning, (2) implementation of actions and observations, and (3) Reflection. Subject implementing measures in this study is an observer and subject teachers Cooling System, while class X-3 Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 1 MondokanSragen number of 32 students as subjects receiving action. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, documentation and field notes. The technique of data analysis is descriptive comparative, quantitative description and qualitative description that consists of data collection, data reduction, and data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results show that this class action: (1) The utilization of audio-visual media can enhance learning in class X activity Skills Program Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 1 MondokanSragen TP 2011/2012. It is based on data and research findings in the field in the form of written data derived from observations and dialogue. The application of this learning model to increase student activity, the initial conditions of 22%, in the first cycle increased to 63% and on the second cycle increased to 78%. Assessment is based on aspects of student activity 4 things are, spirit, partnership, argued and asked, (2) use of audio-visual media learning can improve learning outcomes motor cooling system in class X Light Vehicle Technical Skills Program SMK Negeri 1 Mondokan TP 2011/2012 . From the empirical data demonstrates the use of audio-visual media to improve student learning outcomes. At baseline the minimum 30, maximum 90, and the average value of 60 with 53% mastery class. In the first cycle 35 minimum value, maximum value of 92 and an average value of 68,3 with 66% mastery class. In the second cycle 50 minimum value, maximum value of 98 and an average value of 77,3 with 81% mastery class .

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine (1) implementation of teaching factory in SMK N 5 Surakarta, (2) contribution implementation of teaching factory in preparing graduates to enter the world of work student of SMK N 5 Surakarta, (3) constraints faced in the implementation of the teaching factory and efforts were made to overcome. This research is a qulitative and strategis used are descriptive study single rooted. The source data consisted of informants, dokuments, places, and events. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The technique of collecting data through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The validity of the data used was the triangulation of sourch (data) and method. The data analysis technique used is interactive model analysis technique which include data reduction, presentation of data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) implementation of teaching factory in SMK N 5 Surakarta implemented through three stages of production processes, marketing processes, and evaluation. (2) Contribution teaching factory implementation among others to increase knowledge, skills, experience, and student discipline and cultivate students' professional attitude. (3) In the implementation of teaching factory, the SMK N 5 Surakarta having some problems, among others (a) execution time teaching factory are very few, (b) no special place teaching factory implementation, (c) number of teachers still lack, (d) the role student is less maxsimum, (e) the organizational structure. The efforts of the SMK N 5 Surakarta to overcome these obstacles (a) enjoy free time students, (b) additional space for the implementation of the teaching factory, (c) increasing the number of teachers, (d) prepare in the best implementation of teaching factory and adding infrastructure of teaching factory, (e) elect a teaching factory capable of carrying out their duties properly.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purposes of this research are: (1)To know the use effect of X Power against levels of pollutant gases CO and HC on Honda Supra X 125 2009, (2)To know the effect of the addition of ethanol in premium on levels of pollutant gases CO and HC on Honda Supra X 125 2009, (3)To know the interactions effect using X Power and the addition of ethanol in premium on levels of pollutant gases CO and HC on Honda Supra X 125 2009. The research used experimental methods. Techniques of data analysis in this study using the descriptive data analysis graphically illustrates the results of research in the histogram or frequency polygon which connects between the variables. From  the research, we can conclude that: (1)Using X Power 800 Gold on motorcycles especially Honda Supra X 125 2009 to reduce levels of pollutant gases CO and HC. (2)The addition of ethanol in premium fuel comparable straight with decreased levels of gas pollutant CO, the more the content of ethanol in premium fuel is getting smaller levels of CO, but inversely with decreased levels of gas pollutant HC, the more the content of ethanol in premium fuel higher levels of HC produced motorcycles especially Honda Supra X 125 2009. (3)Interaction between the best mixture of fuel premium- ethanol and the use of X Power 800 Gold in decreased levels of pollutant gases CO and HC are on mixture of fuel premium- ethanol 15% and the use of the X Power 800 Gold, which is 0.75% CO and 390 ppm HC, but the use this variation must attention the total cost.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to acquire knowledge about the internal factors and external factors are a barrier to completion of the study in thesis writing student S1 in PTM JPTK UNS Surakarta. The source in this research are all students Mechanical Engineering Education JPTK FKIP UNS Surakarta class of 2006, 2007, and 2008. The sample is taken by using sampling purposive technique. The sample in this research are students Mechanical Engineering Education JPTK FKIP UNS Surakarta class of 2006, 2007, and 2008 which take courses thesis. The most dominant factor that inhibits completion of studies students PTM S1 JPTK FKIP UNS Surakarta, among others: (1) Internal factors is health factors, fatigue factors, and psychological factors. (2) External factors is guidance by professors factors, family factors, friends factors, student reference factors, and administrative thesis factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) To investigate fuel consumption and exhaust emissions (CO and HC) on motorcycles Supra X 125 R in 2009 that use LPG fuel. (2) To analyze the use of LPG fuel to fuel consumption and exhaust emissions (CO and HC) on motorcycles Supra X 125 R in 2009. Based on this research can be conclude: (1) The test results of 3 kg LPG to a distance of 250 km at a price of Rp. 15 000. While the use of premium fuel, a liter of premium with the price of Rp. 5000 to a distance of 55 km so that for a distance of 250 km requires 4.55 liters at a price of Rp. 22 750. Thus, the use of LPG fuel save money Rp. 7750. (2) The results gas emissions levels of CO 0,025 % and gas emissions levels of HC 2274 ppm. Still under standard exhaust emissions limits released by the ministry of the environment number 05 in 2006. (3) The use of LPG fuel in the motor Supra X 125R in 2009 can?t be directly applied, because the Supra X 125R is a motorcycle with a premium fuel engine character. Changes must be done on the carburetor is to change the size of the pilot jet to # 118 and a # 200 main jet for LPG stoichiometri AFR 21: 1.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran hubungan persepsi siswa dan peran bimbingan konseling dengan minat memasuki SMK N 2 Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survey dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X semua jurusan tahun pelajaran 2011/2012 yang berjumlah 726 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik proporsional random sampling sejumlah 255 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penyebaran angket. Uji coba angket dilakukan kepada 30 responden dari satu kelas yaitu X TPM D. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi ganda dua prediktor dan teknik korelasi product moment Pearson. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat diambil simpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan persepsi siswa dan peran bimbingan konseling terhadap minat memasuki SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Variabel persepsi siswa memberikan sumbangan relatif 83,8% dan sumbangan efektifnya sebesar 54,1%. Variabel peran bimbingan konseling memberikan sumbangan relatif sebesar 16,2% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 10,5%. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan yaitu SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta perlu meningkatkan strategi promosi sekolah ke masyarakat dan sekolah menengah pertama melalui bagian bimbingan konseling karena strategi promosi yang baik akan mampu meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya input siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) Determine the effect of the variation media cooling to hardness remelting of Al-Si based used piston waste with degassing treatment, (2) Determine the effect of the variation cooling media to micro structure remelting of Al-Si based used piston waste with degassing treatment, (3) Determine the effect of the optimal cooling media results hardness and micro structure remelting of Al-Si based used piston waste with degassing treatment.This study used an experimental method that uses a single independent variable factor (media cooling variation) and two-factor variable (hardness and microstructure). Objects in this study using the results of remelting of Al-Si piston former waste. Data analysis techniques in this study using descriptive data analysis results graphically illustrate the tables and histograms as well as images of micro structures. Input parameters in analyzing the data include: variations in the cooling medium (water well, oil SAE 40 and salt liquid), micro structure, and hardness.The results showed a change in the level of hardness and the micro structure formed. From the hardness test results obtained the highest level of hardness in the media cooling well water 86.83 BHN respectively towards the lows of the cooling medium salt liquid at 83.63 BHN, media SAE 40 oil cooler for 63.24 BHN, and the non-quenching at low 54.22 BHN. Microstructure test shows the micro structure consists of the formation of Al that is soft (low hardness) and Si as an addition to the level of hardness that affect resilience, the size of the grains of different suggesting that different levels of hardness coupled. So we get the greater amount Si then the resulting hardness will increase.

Abstract

Based on results an analysis of cutting camshaft ramp to fuel consumption and exhaust gas emissions the suzuki shogun 125 sp in 2005, can be results of this study show that the fuel consumption average on the use of standard cam shaft for a distance of 100 km is 2777 ml. While fuel consumption average on the use of modified camshafts (duration 255o) for a distance of 100 km is 2887 ml. On the use of modified camshafts, fuel consumption for a distance of 100 km increased 110 ml. On the use of the standard exhaust camshafts CO emissions average is 1,396%. CO exhaust emissions on average use modified camshafts (duration 255o) is 5,583%. On the use of modified camshafts, CO emissions increased by 4,187%. HC exhaust emissions in the use of the average standard ridge axis is 141,667 ppm. HC exhaust emissions on average use modified camshafts (duration 255o) was 2621,33 ppm. On the use of modified camshafts HC emissions increased by 2479,663 ppm. The conclusions of this research is cutting ramp duration camshafts for 255o tend to increase fuel consumption, exhaust emissions CO and HC exhaust emissions on a motorcycle Suzuki Shogun 125 SP in 2005.
