Abstract

This study aimed to determine the role of banking on the development of microfinanace institutions in Tebing Tinggi. Also to know how to influence lending rates, lending process, the number of credits the bank’s desicion on the loan request in Tebing Tinggi. Availability of funds given MFI banking is one indicator that banks have an influence in the development of microfinance institutions. In this study, the research object is the Microfinance institutions in Tebing Tinggi. With a sample of 40 respondens where sampling is population sampling. The test data where then analyzed using questionnaires statistical analysis such as the validity ang reliability test and descriptive statistics. The test result show that the interst rate, the loan and the amount of loans affect credit demand decisions on the banks operating in the City of High Cliff. This is evident from the test result obtained by the mean value of the variable interest rate is equal to 3.93, 4.11 for the loan, the amount of credit of 4.084. All items are in the range of variables statement score from 3.7 to 4.5 which means that all variables in this study influence decisions of the demand for credit in the banking system in Tebing Tinggi.Keywords : Banking, MFI, Lending Rate, Credit Supply Process, Credit Amount and Credit Demand Decisions.

Abstract

This research has a purpose to know the development of import demand of shallot in Indonesia and what influence national consumption of shallot, national income, production of shallot, price of import shallot, exchange rate and volume of shallot import have of import demand of shallot in Indonesia. This research uses time series data from 2002 to 2012 by using linier equation. Analysis method that is used in this research is multiple regression by using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The regression result shows that National Consumption of shallot has positive influence but does not significantly influence import demand of shallot while income has positive influence and significantlyinfluence import demand of shallot. Price of import shallot has positive influence and significantly influence import demand of shallot while the increasing of shallot’s price does not decrease the amount of import demand of shallot because other factors beside price have bigger influence of import demand of shallot. National production has negative influence and significantly influence import demand of shallot while exchange rate and the volume of shallot import one year prior to current year have negative influence but do not significantly influence import demand of shallot.Keyword : import, demand, shallot

Abstract

This study aimed to test whether a bank's health is represented by the Adequency Capital Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), ROA and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) effect on earnings growth BPR in the period 2008-2012.The data used in this study were obtained from the publication of the financial statements BPR, which have been audited and published by Bank Indonesia. The F test results indicate that the variable Adequency Capital Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), BOPO and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) simultaneously significant effect on the variable profit growth, while partially by using the t test showed that the variables Adequency Capital Ratio (CAR) has a significant negative correlation with profit growth. Variable Non Performing Loan (NPL) in this study had a positive relationship with profit growth while variable BOPO and the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) has a negative relationship with profit growth at BPR. These results show the value of adjusted R2 of 56.9%. The results of this study are expected to be taken into consideration for management in predicting the earnings growth.Keywords: Adequency Capital Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), BOPO, Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), growth in profit.

Abstract

Fractional currency that is too big an impact on inefficiencies in the payment system. Simplification of zeros on the currency makes transaction processing and accounting system simpler. Redenomination will not reduce purchasing power. Redenomination plan to do with the best possible plan of Bank Indonesia. Unpreparedness of the policy will have an impact on the economic turmoil and public panic. Socialization is very necessary because there are many people we do not understand the meaning of redenomination. Successful redenomination can be done when a country's economy is relatively stable.Keywords: Redenomination, Bank Of Indonesia.

Abstract

This wacthfulness internal issue formulation how does influence labeling rightful towards import food product purchasing decision in package in field University of North Sumatra. Hypothesis in this watchfulness found connection between labeling rightful with import food product purchasing decision in package in field University of North Sumatra Medan. Method that used in influence analysis labeling rightful towards import food product purchasing decision in package in field University of North Sumatra Medan Rank Correlation Coefficient by using analyzer to managed data that is by using SPSS 17. Based on Correlation Analysis Result Spearman Rank show that: Value Sig 0,025 < 0,05 so Medan. This watchfulness aims to detect “Influence Analysis Labeling Rightful Towards Import Food Product Purchasing Decision in Package in Field University of North Sumatra Medan”. As to free variable in this watchfulness labeling rightful and as bound variable import food product purchasing decision in package.ha accepted, ho aversed, so there connection between labeling rihtful with import food product purchasing decision in package, with confidence level 95% (positive correlation).Keyword: Labeling Rifhtful, Import Food Product Purchasing Decision in Package.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of pension funds for the substistence like needs for food, clothing, housing, health needs and their families and family needs. In this study, the data used are primary data by giving questionnaires to 50 respondents retired teacher in Medan. Respondents' answers will be used to answer whether pension funds can fulfill the needs life of PNS retired teacher in Medan. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Data analysis techniques using data tabulation of frequency distribution and percentage. The results showed that pensioners living needs during retirement fulfilled. From the results of this research is the income received from pension funds are not sufficient to subsistence. Pensioners get extra income from children and other businesses. From the results of this research is that more pensioners choose to receive a pension funds once the whole than the receiving each month. Keywords: Retirement, basic needs, health needs, the family unit

Abstract

The object of this study is to analyze the factors of financial ratios that affect a company in taking the company’s acquisition strategy. The financial ratios, in this study, used are Price Earning Ratio (PER), Debt to Equity Ratio (DE), Return On Investment (ROI), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Earning per share (EPS), Equity per share (EqPS) and Leverage Ratio (LR). In this study the data used are secondary data, while the population used the companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and do acquisition activity in the period 2000-2007. Sampling method in this research is by using purposive sampling, which in this study using the 30 firms which 15 companies conducting acquisitions and 15 companies that do not conduct acquisitions. The method of analysis used in this study is the logistic regression analysis (Logistic Regression).Keywords : Acquisition, Financial Ratios

Abstract

The purposes of this research is to analyze the aftermath of the modern retails attendance to the existence of traditional retails, for the case study on four subdistricts of Medan. The data used in this study were obtained from 66 traditional retails on sudistrict Medan Area, subdistrict Medan Helvetia, subdistrict Medan Timur, and subdistrict Medan Johor, by simple random sampling. The analysis method used in this study is Quantitative Descriptive Analysis by Mc Nemar test. The test of validity and reliability of the instrument based on r table value by 0,5%. The result shows that Indomaret Retails significantly affect the omzet of traditional retails, as it significantly influence the traditional retailer in taking strategic initiative on price and retail neatness improvement for retain. Conversely Indomaret Retails attendance neither significantly influence the traditional retailer in taking strategic initiative on retail services, product differemtiation, retail’s working hour, nor the retail interior improvement as well.Keywords : traditional retail, modern retail, omzet, retail strategy
