Abstract

Pandawa beach officially launched by village governor in 2011, that then accepted as a tourist attraction by Badung government in 2014. As a tourist attraction, Pandawa beach had been given much changes just for five period of time. On it’s developing, on year of 2016 researcher heard some issues like changing management and divisioning tourist area at beach. According from these issues, the purposed of this reasearch is to compare management development at Pandawa beach in 2011 with 2016, that hope could give some depicts management changes that had been done by Pandawa beach management. This reasearch used some data collected technic, they were interview, observation, and documentation. The informants divided by based informant whom is Bendesa Adat Kutuh and key informants whom are manager and adiministration staff in Pandawa beach management. Analyze data was used comparative overtime analysis. The result of this comparison shows there are changes at each management function in Pandawa beach development, therefore from planning side, organizing, directing, and controlling. In planning side, alteration happened at nature attraction aspec, amenity, accessibility, tourist activity pattern, and institutional. Approach model which is use in Pandawa managemnt is model in form of the element manager’s governing body. To face these developments, manager of Pandawa beach must do some adviser for human resources intensively, re-evalution about future construction at beach area, and clarity management portion to stakeholders. Abstract

Pandawa Beach is one of beaches thatlocatedon the south coast of Bali Island, exactly in Kutuh Village, Kuta Selatan Subdistrict, Badung-Regency. This beach is visited by hundreds of domestic tourists everyday. White sand, shallow beach, limestone hill, and also the clean torquoise water being photography or selfie objects in every single day by domestic tourists. The photos-averagely uploaded to social medias everyday. This activity surely will affect many people to come and visit to Pandawa Beach. Thus, this case made the background of choosing the topic “Facebook’sEffecttoward Visiting-Decision of Domestic Tourists toPandawa Beach” to be researched. The goal of this research is to determine the significance of Facebook’s effect toward-visiting decision of domestic-tourists to Pandawa Beach. The research method that used-in this research are quantitative research method with validity test analysis, reliability test, frequency test, t-test, and correlation analysis to analyze the-Facebook’s effecttoward visiting decision toPandawa Beach. Data sources are gained from primary data and secondary data. Data collecting technique used observation method, documentation, and using-questionnaires. Sample of tourists determination technique used in this research is incidental sampling technique. This research is also limited with theory of planned behavior, concept of social media, concept of visiting decision, and concept of tourists. The results of this research isthat-Facebook haseffecttoward the visiting decision of domestic tourists in Pandawa Beach but the effectis weak. This is caused that the tourist who visits-Pandawa Beach also have references of another good beaches in online social media so the Pandawa Beach is not the location that prioritized or the only one tourist attraction that chosen-to be visited by domestic tourists. Abstract

Subak is one of the Balinese cultural heritages, which has been assigned as one of World Cultural Heritage sites by UNESCO. Participation and empowering for local community is very important to occur equalization welfare and suistainable tourism ongoing on Subak Lodtunduh development as a tourist attraction. This research is very important for analyzing the local community participation to tourist attraction development in Subak Lodtunduh focused on development position of Subak Lodtunduh and their local community participation in various aspects. In this research methods used is qualitative research method. Qualitative method is used to reveal the form of local community participation. Qualitative and quantitative data in this research derived from primary and secondary data. Those collected by observation and literature review technique. Primary data explored by indepth interview to several informants that determined by purpossive sampling, then data annalyzed qualitatively to be explained in descriptive method. The result of this research is the form of community participation is limited to external parties such as the opinion by Tosun (1999). There are no real forms of the draft plan or detailed spatial Lodtunduh Subak rice cultivation to be a tourist attraction. The government's role was limited to initiate the Subak Lodtunduh to be more productive in the tourism sector in line with the agricultural sector that has been cultivated local communities Lodtunduh Subak communities. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the benefits of tourism coast economy are felt directly by the local people in Meosmansar Subdistrict, Raja Ampat Regency. The case study taken from the local people of Arborek Village which is a tourism village that has hand-crafed in the form of woven hats and bags of leaf mats. The type of data in this study used qualitative data. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data are collected through by observation, indepth interviews with the some of the interviewees and as well as documentation. The technique of determination of the informant used in this research is purposive sampling. The informants which is selected in this study are representative of the local government in this case the Tourism and Culture officer of Raja Ampat Regency as well as the local community whose doing business craftsmen woven hats and bags. The data are collected is analyzed using the concepts of economic benefits by Leiper. The results of this study found the presence of perceived economic benefit directly by the local communities from tourism sector. Abstract

Research on the travel attractions featured in transit area Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra, intend to find an activity that is do by tourist in transit and to know the attraction featured of travel attraction for transit tourist. Data collection techniques in this study, by observation, in-depth interviews with the actors of tourism in Pematangsiantar, and literature study by means of documentation using a variety of documents, such as books and literature. Documentation can also be done by taking a picture in Pematangsiantar. The data obtained were analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis of the data that describes, depicts, and systematic explanation of the data obtained in the field with the aim of obtaining a clear and objective. This research is located in Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra. The results of this research is to be able to make Pematangsiantar as transit areas must be identified ahead of the tourist attraction featured for transit travelers. To determine the leading tourist appeal, it is necessary to know the behavior patterns of travelers in transit while in Pematangsiantar, starting from what place you visit, what you buy, and how long the stay. Of traveler behavior patterns, it can be concluded that the appeal is the leading tourist tourist attraction most visited by tourists in transit and has many tourist activities, are: culinary tourism, cultural tourism, nature tourism and religious tourism. Abstract

The museum is one of the cultural heritages that should be preserved. Museum Bali is one of the old museum is located in the city of Denpasar and became an icon of cultural tourism. The purpose of this study to determine the perceptions and motivations of tourists to Museum Bali as cultural tourist attractions in Denpasar. This study uses primary data and secondary. Data collection technique used observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. Sampling technique using the formula slovin by sampling using accidental sampling devoted to 96 respondents. To analyze data using qualitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the perception of tourists to Museum Bali shows a good response because from 17 indicators used as a measure of the response has been positive, there are two indicators got bad response. Advice can be given is the need for more interesting information and support so that tourists are more interested to know the collections of the Museum Bali.There needs to be a cultural attraction, the better promotion and attractive to increase the number of tourist visits. Abstract

The research aim is to determine development strategy of Banjar Samu as a tourism village. This research used qualitative and quantitative data with source from primary and secondary data. Observation, interview and documentation are data collection techniques. The sample method used purposive sampling while data analysis used descriptive qualitative and SWOT analysis. Based on the results, the research indicate is that Banjar Samu have tourism potential which is consisted of natural potentials include panorama of rice fields and water springs. While the potential of culture include: community activities, hospitality and attitude of mutual cooperation, temples: building architecture and religious activity, sacred art of barong landung and another arts entertainment such as joged bumbung, arja, gambelan geguntangan, as well as local craft communities such as wood carving, silver handicrafts, yoga-meditation activity and sekaa such as sekaa gong, joged, geguntangan, arja, angklung, subak and sekaa santi. Based on the analysis of SWOT Matrix, the results obtained by SO strategies are improving the quality of tourism potential and establish tourist activity. ST strategy is improving the security services. WO strategies are increasing cooperation with the government college, arranging some promotion. Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing strategy for the local art shops at Batu Belig, Badung Regency. This research is interesting to be conducted because there is a difference between local and foreign art shops which could be identified from several aspects. This research is both interesting as well as important to make the local peoples as locals entrepreneurs to be able to compete with the investors. The data in this study are qualitative data, which were obtained based on the results of observation, in- depth interviews, literature studies, and questionnaires. The amount of sampling is 60 respondents and they were selected using purposive and accidental sampling. In order to survive in this tourism business, local owners must have a marketing strategy to increase the promotion by introducing Balinese culture, creat the innovative design of new product, making corporate identity, and increasing market segmentation, the positive image, product quality and the quality of service. The suggestion in this study is local entrepreneurs should be able to create some innovative products that are more representing Balinese culture. Keywords: art shop, strategy, Balinese culture

Abstract

Tourism development should involve the local community as one of strakeholders interest in its management. Therefore local communities also have the right to be able to taste the economic benefits equitably. This study aims to determine the participation of local communities in the management in Ekowisata Kampoeng Kepiting Tuban, Bali. This research is important because local community participation in ecotourism can determine sustainable development The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative research, with qualitative observation, semi-structured interviews, and documents qualitative as well as using the concept of a tourist attraction, management and public participation theory to analyze the problems in the field. The results show management in Ekowisata Kampoeng Kepiting is organized by Fishermen Group Wanasari Tuban, Bali and the employees who work not only from members of the fishermen but also come from family members of fishermen. Abstract

This research was to analyze The Role of External Agent to Tourism Development of Samiran Tourism Village. Samiran Tourism Village become mainstay tourism attraction at Boyolali Regency. Samiran Tourism Village have natural potential namely Merapi mountain dan Merbabu, Samiran Tourism Village is located on slope of the mountain. The development of Samiran Tourism Village is so rapid, as evidenced by the achievement that 3rd national champion in prestigious event of Tourism Village Competition held by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. The successfull of Samiran Tourism Village today, because of the high participation of local communities. But, who would have thought tucked into role of external agent in the development. The external agent to become a director in the development of Samiran Tourism Village. This research conducted using qualitative methods, described through descriptive teqniques, data were collected through observation and depth interview on the informant. Selection of informant invitation purposive sampling technique. This study shows the role of external agent as a drafter, the mouthpiece in the information and tourism ambassador in the tourism development at the Samiran Tourism Village. Existing barriers be addressed to the quite and preferably local communities, especially younger generation must be learh how to be independent tourism area, in order to avoid dependency on external agent.
