Abstract

Serang Village is one of the tourism village located in Blitar and initiated in 2014. The area of Serang Tourism Village is generally located on land owned by the local communities and Perum Perhutani. But in its management, the Department of Youth, Sport, Culture, and Tourism of Blitar Regency especially tourism sector also become a part of management tourism in Serang Village. It required a synergy between the parts related to the management of the area in Serang Tourism Village. This study aims to determine synergy in the management of the area in Serang Tourism Village. This research is located in Serang Tourism Village, Panggungrejo Subdistrict, Blitar Regency. The data used in this study is qualitative data with the data source in the form of primary data and secondary data. The data were collected using the method of observation, in-depth interview, and literature study. The determination of informants used purposive method. The results show that the total area of Serang Tourism Village is ??928.858 Ha and territorially divided into three (3) territories namely Serang I, Serang II, Serang III. In tourism activities, especially in the area of ??Serang Beach in Serang Tourism Village is located on government land and in this case managed by Perum Perhutani. Synergy in the management of Serang Tourism Village area identified based on several stages, including planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. Abstract

The development of the tourism industry currently leads to the main lines that becomes a link between tourists generating regions and tourists destination regions. This study aims to assess the current development of a tourist attraction in the transit route that can be monitored through the mapping process and the division of the tourism clusters based on tourism products and location. The location of this research is located in the transit route along between of Badung-Regency and Bedugul. The data sources are from primary and secondary data. Methods of collecting the datas are interviewandobservation.In this report, the data presented in the form of a map based on observations and interviews. This research’s scope is limited by the concept of tourist attractions, concept of tourism clusters and concept of transit regions. The results-obtained from this research is there are mapping of tourist attractions based on administration territory along the transit route. Tourist attractions are divided into two types, natural tourist attractions and artificial tourist attractions. Tourist attractions in the transit route are concentrated based on tourism products and location tourist attraction. The tourist attractions are located in the middle of five villages that adjacently with Badung-regency as tourist generating regions and Bedugulas tourist destination regions. Abstract

This research discusses about the phenomenon impact of culinary tourism in Malang City, East Java. Which is analyze the characteristic of the tourist such as age, job, and where they from. The impact of culinary tourism phenomenon analyze with the aspect of positive and the negative. The point of view for the impact is in 3 (three) point such as economy, social culture, and the environment. The result of this study is the numbers of tourist departure always raising which is the point of view is still positive. The age of the tourists dominated in 21 – 30 years old. Tourist typology that come to Malang City is incipient mass, the tourist is very considerable about standard of the culinary but they still want the authentic of culinary itself. The impact of culinary tourism is showing the positive result, the tourist and local people feels that culinary tourism make he economy in Malang city being increased and also tourist can learn about the culture. Abstract

The key of success in a company is on how the manager manages the company to survive, to compete, and dominate the market share. Therefore, management is a very important thing of a company, including a company which is running in the marine tourism sector. Benoa Marine Recreation is the first company which started water sport business in Bali and it is very interesting to determine its management. This research aims to determine the marine tourism management of PT Benoa Marine Recreation (BMR) in Tanjung Benoa village, Kuta Selatan subdistrict, Badung regency. The method used in this research is qualitative method and the data sources is primary data and secondary data. The data collecting method used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation and assisted with data analysis techniques. The result of this research explains that the management of Benoa Marine Recreation is very well by using kinship system. The functions of management are also running well, such as the planning has running properly, organizing also has running well. Every employes are involved, employees are doing their duty and obligation properly. The actuating has done by the general manager. The general manager also directs and motivates all employees. The coordination between boss and employees has interlaced very well. The controlling of water sport activities which is done by the operational manager also running well. Abstract

Couchsurfing.com is social media which make traveler and local meet in tourist destination. Which is they dont know each other before meet. Share about anything and explore the tourist destination together. Purpose of this research is to know thet motivation of host on couchsurfing.com Denpasar area to be a tour guide for the traveler. This reseacrh used qualitative method. Data collected by observation, in-dept interview and literature study. Sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data analyzed through the stages of editing, classification, coding then interpretation. These results indicate that there is a lot of motivations of host couchsurfing.com Denpasar to be a tour guide for the traveler. The main motivations isself-actualization, includes practicing foreign language skills, train travel guides skill, improve personal communication skills, understand the character of the travelers, and dream. The second motivation is esteem needs, prestige and showing hospitality are the part of it. The three last motivation are belongingness and love needs, safety needs, physiological needs. Abstract

The tourism sector contributes a lot to the economic development in Indonesia, it can be seen from the number of new job opening, increasing the income of the state and increasing the economy of the people around the tourist destination. However, in its development, tourism has also experienced many problems, such as the increasingly tight competition among Southeast Asian countries in controlling the world tourism market target to make its region as the world's main tourist destination in the region. A poorly-organized marketing strategy can be a major problem in market target. It happened at the outbound tourist attraction of Bali Treetop Adventure Park located at Eka Karya Bali Botanical Garden, Bedugul, Tabanan Regency. Many tourists do not know the attraction of this outbound tour. This is due to lack of information for tourists about the tourist attraction, a less precise marketing strategy is suspected to be the main problem. The purpose of this research is to find out the marketing strategy of Bali Treetop Adventure Park at Eka Karya Bali Botanical Garden, Bedugul, Tabanan Regency. Types of data that is used are qualitative data and quantitative data with approaches through observation, interviews, questionnaires distribution to tourists, literature study and documentation. The data analyzed in the research is the explanation of various explanations of data obtained directly from the managers of Bali Treetop Adventure Park and tourists during this research took place. The result of this research is Bali Treetop Adventure Park has several marketing strategies that is direct promotion (sales call, exhibition, brochure), promotion of mass media (magazine, baliho, Facebook, YouTube), indirect promotion (travel agent and local guide). The target of the market has been obtained but it is not maximized, this is caused by the market strategies which is not done properly. So it is necessary to improve its performance for human resources in the tourist attraction of Bali Treetop Adventure Park is to achieve the desired number of tourists visit. Abstract

This study is aboutthe potentials and constraints in developing of Kelating Beach as a tourist attraction at Village of Kelating, Tabanan Regency. This study is motivated by there’s no serious management for Kelating Beach, although this beach has the great potential to developed. This study is important to know potentials and constraints in developing of Kelating Beach as a tourist attraction at Village of Kelating, Tabanan Regency. This study using a qualitative approach by data collected by observation,interview, and documentation. Data used in this study is qualitative and quantitative and the data used in this study is derived from the primary and secondary data. Mechanical determination informants using purposive sampling. Analysis of the data used in this study is descriptive qualitative method of analysis. Based on the results of this study, Kelating Beach has great potentials to developed to be a tourist attraction at Village of Kelating. Physical Potentials of Kelating Beach are the beach view of still natural with black sand, surrounded by hills and crag, there’s a bat cave, mini waterfall, there’s a temple located in front of the beach the named is Taman AgungTemple. In addition, local communities with art and culture, daily activities or communities attitude of friendly also add value a tourist attraction at Village of Kelating, Tabanan Regency. Constraints in developing of Kelating Beach potentials from aspect: tourism community development, tourism product development and marketing of integrated. But in developing Kelating Beach as a tourist attraction at Village of Kelating, Tabanan Regency has constraints one of which is not yet active tourism management agency optimally . Abstract

Angseri village is located in_Baturiti subdistrict, Tabanan regency, Bali. Angseri village has_Angseri Hot Springs as a tourist attraction. This tourist attraction has a special characteristic than another hot springs tourist attraction._The special characteristic of this hot springs is in the middle of bamboo forest. The management of this hot springs started in 2007 until now and this management still running well with many involved party in it. The research that will be done is_about how is the actual condition of Angseri hot springs reviewed on tourism product component and how is the pattern of participation in management of Angseri hot springs in Angseri village which the_management is managed by the local community itself. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with in-depth interview, observation, documentation, and literature_study. The data sources are obtained from primary and secondary data. The theory and concept used are concept of attraction, concept of management,_concept of tourism product component, and theory of participation_typology in management. The actual condition is reviewed from tourism product component located in Angseri hot springs which is an attraction that take benefit from natural potential in the form of hot springs, an adequate access, feasible infrastructures, and the completeness of supporting facilities. In the participation typology of local community in management of Angseri hot springs, there were well organization and management structure and the participation of local community which belongs to pushed participation. In this case, the local community is given socialization by Tourism Department in the beginning of planning Angseri hot springs tourist attraction. Abstract

This research was conducted in Munggu village, Mengwi subdistrict, Badung Regency. This research aims toidentify the obstacles experienced by Munggu village as a tourism village in Badung regency. This research used qualitative method, which prefers the descriptive data or the data in the form of sentences instead of numbers. This data was obtained through observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using the concept of obstacles. The results of this study indicate that obstacles experienced by Munggu village as a tourism village in Badung regency consists of twotypes of obstacles, internal obstacles and external obstacles. Internal obstacles are related about the tourism product that is not maximized yet, limited funds and lack of village facilities completeness, managerial organization that is not optimal, and community participation is still lacking. Meanwhile, external obstacles are related about to the absence of standardization from the government for tourism villages, the role of local government is still lacking and Munggu tourism village has not been incorporated in the network of tourism villages. Abstract

This research is done in one of the largest traditional market in Denpasar, namely is Badung Market. Badung Market located on Gajah Mada street, its about 1 Km to the West of the Catur Muka Statue, in Denpasar Downtown. This research aims to determine how the recovery strategy tourism of Badung Market as a tourist attractions. This research was analyzed by the concept of a tourist attraction, and also using the concept of markets and traditional markets. After that, this research using the qualitative research of methodologies. This data was obtained from interviews of market management and direct observations in Badung Market. The damage that occurred in Badung Market that will do by recovery strategy. This aims to rebuild market buildings that was broke. This process requires several stage, namely are: physical intervention, rehabilitation of economic and social/institusional revitalotations. Post-fire made the biggest market in Denpasar this being lost daily activities. While this relokalisasiBadung market is still running. The damages that occur in the Badung Market will now do the recovery strategy, aims to rebuild the market buildings that have been damaged.
