Multidimensional growth in Indonesia not because of economical factor, but because of the behavior of businessmen that is not in the way of that has been formed by Rasulullah, i. e. accountability, disclosure, responsibility, fairness, and honesty. The businessman behavior today looks like so far from those values, emphasizing to profit taking, that makes Indonesian business to be penniless.

Abstract

Researchs on Abrahamic religions found three religious attitudes which generate the theory of exclusivism, inclusivism and pluralism. Those sort of religious attitudes are constructed by normative doctrines and historical experience of each religion’s adherents in interacting with adherents of other religions. Pluralism as a philosophycal system of thinking emerges as a response toward inappropriateness of monism and dualism theories. Besides, socio-theological response also emerges as various thruth phenomena. Therefore, the phenomena should be responded wisely.

Abstract

Basically, the perspective of Ulama’ Syiah Isna ‘asyariyah about jihad is not different from Sunni’s perspective. Other side, still there different between them and this become something that “must be” there for them.Ulama’ Syi’ah Isna ‘Asyariyah said taht the main of jihad are Imamah and all of this its implications, which are placed in the central position os Syi’ah’s thought. However, that thought differentiates Syi’ah and Ahl Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah themselves.Imamah is a concept of leadership after the death of Muhammad SAW, it convinced as the certainly of religion. Imamah is supported by Ijtihad of Ulama’ Syi’ah Isna ‘asyariyah intensively to strength the argumentation of Imamah certainly. The Ijtihad elaboration about imamah becomes a concept of Marja’iyat-i-Taqlid and Wilayat-i-Faqih. It is very important to Syi’ah, because the highest Mujtahid/Marja’ is as the changer of Imam Mahdi. Ijtihad Imamah related to the perspective of Ulama’ Syi’ah Isna ‘Asyariyah ulama is something certainly. The implication of imamah is the birth of theories, such as, ‘ismah, taqiyah, Marja’iyat-i-taqlid and Wilayat-i-Faqih. And all of these are the consequence of Ghaibat al-Imam (themystery of Imam Mahdi).

Abstract

Along with the industrialization policy in the New Order era, city expansion was a certainty. As a result, rural communities began to change significantly. The changes included economic activity patterns. In short, development as the New Orders jargon and symbol of progress has resulted in the collapse of the established rural traditional social structures. Suralaya community, as a part of the outskirts of Betawi, axperiences the same thing as the other parts of Betawi as a whole. It gets the effect of industrial area and city axpansion. The demographical and geographical pressures from Jakarta and Tangerang and Governmants industrialization policy really have long-term impact on Suralaya community. In facing such condition, Betawi society who devote their lives to their religion, that is, Islam, make the religion as basic identity because Islamic teachings give them feeling of pride and safe protection from any threats. Nevertheless, we have to consider that in reality, religion is not the only determiningfactor. We are sure that religion is only one of the factors that influence human behavior, and that religion itself is also influenced by the material condition of a society. However, we have to acknowledge that religion reflects on the traders daily behavior, together with their experiences, spirit, talents, and struggles in their business. We can see those from the way they interpret the religious symbols in relation to their daily business activities.

Abstract

The Qur' an is the guide book for Muslims, not the scientific or philosophical book. It shows the right paths for the people who want _to succeed in their life in both this world and the hereafter. One of the content of the Qur'an is about the philosophy of science. This article describes the concept of the philosophy of science. It will elaborate the relationship between the philosophy and the philosophy of science in the beginning, and then the following part is the philosophy of science in the Qur'an. The discussion of the philosophy of science is always related to the matter of ontology, epistemology and axiology. The ontological aspect in the perspective of the scientific philosophy explains the essence of science. The epistemological aspect shows the ways to collect the knowledge, for instance, through the experience and thought. Finally, the axiological aspect discusses the way to implement the science in daily life, whether it is valuable or value free. The Qur'an since its first revelation of al-Alaq:1-5 has stated that science is very essential, some of them are developed by hard working (kasbi) or just given by God (ladunni). In addition, the Qur' an explains that the science can be achieved by the role of senses, brain, or intuition. Nevertheless, it is stated that the science is not value free. The science should be applied through the regulations which have been determined by the owner of science, the Almighty God, Allah.
