Abstract

Health monitoring reports against COVID-19 suspect must be presented every day at 7 o’clock in the morning and 7 o’clock at night. In this report, every patient vital signs must be monitored in order to prevent a potential decline in the level of health from the patient. One of the symptoms observed in this monitoring is a change in body temperature. This monitoring should be carried out without touching the patient’s skin to reduce potential risks of droplets that contain the virus from spreading. This work proposes an idea related to non-contact temperature monitoring which is suitable to use in this pandemic condition. This idea realization process by building a data storage terminal for body temperature scans that is mobile, cheap and has a large storage capacity. This mobile terminal is an integration of the MLX90614 a temperature sensor series, Arduino UNO and Telegram apps. In addition, the communication process between the sensor and the Telegram apps utilizes the GPRS cellular network services. Before arriving at the Telegram apps, this data will pass through gateway site which acts as a collector and relay. In the process of sending the temperature data is then converted into two body temperature categories, normal temperature and abnormal temperature. Based on the trial results that have been carried out, this system consumes 2A of current and 5V of voltage. The communication time duration between the temperature data acquisition system and the collector site is 28 seconds. While the length of time for sending the data from the collector site to the Telegram apps is 8 seconds

Abstract

Abstract The development of banking service technology now allows us to do non-cash transactions using various media. Electronic money as one of the favorite media that is widely used by the public is now experiencing innovation with the new breakthrough of Electronic Money Flazz Gen 2 that can conduct transaction services via smartphones. With this latest innovation comes a question related to what factors that influence people using electronic money Flazz Gen 2. Therefore, quantitative research using a questionnaire conducted using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method assisted by software SmartPLS 3.0. The factors studied were taken from the variables in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) developed by Davis et.al (1996), namely perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and trust variables taken from Gefen's theory (2003). Keywords: TAM, Electronic Money, SEM-PLS,

Abstract

Abstract Technology implementation in the marketplace world has attracted the attention of researchers to analyze the reviews from customers. The Klik Indomaret application page on GooglePlay is one application that can be used to get information on review data collection. However, getting information on consumer’s opinion or review is not an easy task and need a specific method in categorizing or grouping these reviews into certain groups, i.e. positive or negative reviews. The sentiment analysis study of a review application in GooglePlay is still rare. Therefore, this paper analysis the customer’s sentiment from klikindomaret app using Naive Bayes Classifier (NB) algorithm that is compared to Support Vector Machine (SVM) as well as optimizing the Feature Selection (FS) using the Particle Swarm Optimization method. The results for NB without using FS optimization were 69.74% for accuracy and 0.518 for Area Under Curve (AUC) and for SVM without using FS optimization were 81.21% for accuracy and 0.896 for AUC. While the results of cross-validation NB with FS are 75.21% for accuracy and 0.598 for AUC and cross-validation of SVM with FS is 81.84% for accuracy and 0.898 for AUC, while there is an increase when using the Feature Selection (FS) Particle Swarm Optimization and also the modeling algorithm SVM has a higher value compared to NB for the dataset used in this study. Keywords: Naive Bayes, Particle Swarm Optimization, Support Vector Machine, Feature Selection, Consumer Review.

Abstract

Augmented reality technology has been widely developed and implemented in an Android-based smartphone application. This technology can be used for entertainment and education. Unfortunately, the use of education is still rare. This paper proposes an android application to introduce the types of land transportation based on augmented reality technology which is visualized in 3-dimensional (3D) form for education as well as entertainment. There are seven land transportation modes that are presented range from two wheels to four wheels, i.e. cars, ambulances, buses, motorbikes, taxis, trucks, and bicycles. Alpha testing has been carried out and shows the results that the application runs well following the expected function. This application can be delivered to the public, especially for the online learning of children in a pandemic situation. In addition, it helps parents to introduce several land transportation modes. With a 3D view, the introduction of types of land transportation is more interactive and realistic. Keywords: android, application, augmented reality, transportation

Abstract

Strategic planning of information systems on seed producers is an action that needs to be taken in order to maintain and make the business grow faster. However, such information system usually been created through the system development life cycle (SDLC) or other methods that appropriate for business. This study used Anita Cassidy method for strategic planning of rice seed producer’s information systems in XYZ Ltd., as case study. The following stages has been done, i.e. visioning, analysis, direction, and recommendations. The final results of the stages carried out recommend business applications that can be implemented, namely: Rice seed certification information systems, E-Commerce of Rice Seeds, Rice Type Determination Applications, Irrigation Control Applications, Paddy Pest Resolution Applications, Rice Growth Monitoring Applications, Personnel Information Systems, Payroll Information System, Procurement Information System, Financial Information System. Keywords: Information Systems, Information Systems Strategic Planning, Anita Cassidy Method

Abstract

Areca palm has been widely planted by the people of the Asahan Regency. This plant is cultivated not only by the farmers, but also by many people living in this regency. Therefore, an expert system is needed to help villagers in detecting areca palm desease. In areca palm cultivation, pests and diseases attack always happen. The purpose of this research is to apply an expert system as a tool to diagnose and also provide advice for control. This expert system, in the form of a consultation scenario, can be done by answering every question (yes or no); all answers are compared to the areca palm plants needs based-on expert experience. The inference method used is forward chaining. The output of this system is the types of diseases, percentages, symptoms, definitions, treatment, and prevention. Keywords: Areca Palm, Expert System, Forward Chaining.
