Abstract

        The objectives of this research are (1) to know the diversification design of food material in household level, (2) to analyze the factors that influenced the role of female in food diversification for food security reason in household level and (3) to analyze the factors that influenced the diversification design of food material in household level.         The method of this research is descriptive method with the case study at Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. The primary data is collected from 50 respondents of female in household level using the simple random sampling and the regression analyze with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method is applied for the data analysis.         The result shows that the diversification design of food material in household level is mainly the rice paddy which is followed by potatoes, noodles, wheat and corn. The main  factors that influence the role of female in food diversification for food security is the household income and the numbers of family dependent. Furthermore, the factors that determine the diversification design of food material are household income, product image and the number of family dependent.     Keywords: role of female, food diversification, food security, household level

Abstract

This research is aimed at analysing some factors that affect inflation rate in Indonesia during period 1997-2005. Using cointegration analysis and error correction model this research will investigate the relationship between independent variable and dependent variables in both short run and long run. In the long run, the monetary policy instrument (SBI rate), output gap and exchange rate have significant influence on inflation rate under floating exchange rate regime. In the short-run, the speed of adjustment of exchange rate is higher and significant for corrected to its long run equilibrium.Keywords: inflasi, efek transmisi, kointegrasi, error correction model

Abstract

        The purpose of the research is to inspect and analyze factors which influence consumption diversification system based on local potential to create village housing food tenacity. This research uses descriptive method with survey implementation method. Research area determination uses purposive method and housing sample is taken by proportional stratified random sampling with 50 housing sample.        The result of this research indicate that staple food based on local potential is still dominated by rice followed by cassava and corn. Staple food diversification system is rice, and substitution rice like corn which follows rice-corn, rice-cassava, and rice-corn-cassava pattern in consumption. Abstract

This study is conducted to identify factors that influence the decision of tourists to visit Yogyakarta using factor analysis technique. Further, this study attempts to explore the perception of touristst on tourism in Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta’s tourism have three main recreation’s attributes: culture, history, and nature. Empirical results show that, overall, visitors are satisfied with the services provided in selected recreational sites. However there has been a lack in facilities and diversification of recreational activities. Therefore, some factors such as accommodation, satisfaction and recreational spot services become important aspects to attract visitors. Keywords: factor analysis technique, recreation’s attributes

Abstract

        AFTA has been starting since 2003. This study will investigate Indonesia’s bilateral trade with ASEAN member by examining intra-industry trade. The Grubel-Lloyd Index is applied to measure intra-industry trade. Intra –industry trade is classified based on factor intensity in the production process. There are natural resource intensive, unskilled labor intensive, physical capital intensive, human capital intensive and technological intensive.         This research shows that level of Indonesia’s intra-industry trade with ASEAN-4 has increased rapidly since 1995. In particular, intra-industry trade level of physical capital intensive (PCI) and technology intensive (TI) is relatively high. An intra-industry trade level of human capital intensive (HCI) and unskilled labor intensive is at medium level. Meanwhile, intra-industry trade level of natural resources industry (NRI) tends to decrease.Keywords: Intra Industry Trade, Inter Industry Trade and Grubel-Llyod Index.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to test the determinant of investment locations in 26 provinces in Indonesia between 1993-2003 using dynamics method of panel. Factors affecting to investment locations in Indonesia are indicator of market size which is growth rate PDRB (X1), infrastructure indicator i.e. number of electricity capacity (X2), indicator spatial which is deensity (X3), indicator manpower that is labour force (X4) and wages/UMP (X5), and last of economic indicators that is export/ level of chartered investment counsel openness (X6). The result concludes that all variables applied in stationary research has at data level (I0), equally all variables have owned degree of the same integration. Result of testing of panel co integration with approach of parametric indicates that Group rho-Statistic to have coefficient 8432 while Group PP-Statistic has coefficient co integration of 9193. The coefficient co integration by using Group ADF-Statistic is 2540. Probability each testing method indicates that variable applied by co integrating at level of significance at 5%. From total 7 testing panel, got result that all research variable of co integrating or on a long term research variable has direction of the same movementKeywords: investments, panel dynamic, unit root panel, and cointegration panel
