Abstract

Abstract  The purposes of the study are to analyze: (1) characteristic of strategic partner and change agent roles, talent management and managers performance, (2) influence of strategic partner and change agent roles to talent management and its impact to managers performance. Four hundred hotel managers in Bali were participated in this study by using proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and SEM. The result shows that: (1) strategic partner and change agent role, talent management and managers performance are in enough category, (2) positive and significant effect between strategic partner and change agent roles to talent management and its impact to managers performance. Keywords:Strategic Partner Role, Change Agent Role, Talent Management, Managers Performance.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis: (1) karakteristik dari mitra strategis dan peran agen perubahan, manajemen bakat dan kinerja manajer, (2) pengaruh mitra strategis dan peran agen perubahan untuk manajemen bakat dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja manajer. Sebanyak empat ratus manajer hotel di Bali berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan proporsional random sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) mitra strategis dan peran agen perubahan, manajemen bakat dan kinerja manajer termasuk dalam kategori cukup, (2) pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara mitra strategis dan peran agen perubahan untuk manajemen bakat dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja manajer.Keywords: Peran Mitra Strategis, Peran Agen Perubahan, Manajemen Talenta, kinerja Manajer.

Abstract

AbstractThis study is aimed to investigate the role of Switching Costs in mediating the influences of Consumer Satisfaction and Trust on Consumer Loyalty by using Celular phone provider. 120 respondents were selected as sample using convinience sampling method. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) has been used to examine the hypotheses of this research. Findings indicate that all of the hypotheses are supported. In other words, Consumer Satisfaction and Trust influence the Consumer Loyalty both directly and indirectly through Swithcing Costs. These results are consistent with previous findings, and the same time, however, they reveal that Switching Costs does not fully mediate the influence of Consumer Satisfaction and Trust on Consumer Loyalty. The existence of direct influence of Consumer Satisfaction and Trust on Consumer Loyalty shows this evidence. Keywords: Consumer Loyalty, Switching Cost, Consumer Satisfaction and TrustAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti peran Biaya Pengalihan (Switching Cost) sebagai mediasi pengaruh Kepuasan Konsumen (Consumer Satisfaction) dan Kepercayaan Konsumen (Consumer trust) dalam menggunakan jasa penyedia telepon Celular. 120 responden dipilih sebagai sampel, menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel konfinien. Structural Equation Model (SEM) telah digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ini. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa semua hipotesis didukung. Dengan kata lain, Kepuasan Konsumen dan Kepercayaan Konsumen mempengaruhi Loyalitas Konsumen baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui Biaya Pengalihan. Hasil ini konsisten dengan temuan sebelumnya. Walaupun penelitian tersebut mengungkapkan bahwa Biaya Pengalihan tidak sepenuhnya memediasi pengaruh Kepuasan Konsumen dan Kepercayaan Konsumen pada Loyalitas Konsumen. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya pengaruh langsung Kepuasan Konsumen dan Kepercayaan Konsumen pada Loyalitas Konsumen.Kata kunci: Loyalitas Konsumen, Switching Cost, Kepuasan Konsumen, Kepercayaan Konsumen.

Abstract

AbstractInvestment in information technology (IT) implementation in organizations tends to increase manufacturing in Indonesia. Various studies show that implementation of IT that is applied has a major impact on company performance. This study aims to answer, whether at manufacturing organizations in Indonesia, the implementation of IT is applied and competencies have an impact, both directly and indirectly to the performance. The sample of this study is a company registered in the Department of Industry and Trade in East Java, which apply information and communication technologies in local area network. There are 117 companies with 500 employees or more participated in this study. Data were analyzed using SEM, with the application of SPSS and AMOS. The results of this study indicate that the more complete implementation of information technology applied in the company, and the higher the competence of knowledge in information technology, the higher the company's organizational performance is achieved.Keywords: Implementation IT, Competence IT, Organization Performance.AbstrakPenerapan investasi di bidang teknologi informasi (TI) dalam organisasi perusahaan cenderung meningkat di Indonesia. Berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi TI yang diterapkan memiliki dampak besar pada kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab, apakah implementasi kompetensi TI di organisasi perusahaan di Indonesia memiliki dampak, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap kinerja. Sampel penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang terdaftar di Departemen Perindustrian dan Perdagangan di Jawa Timur yang mengaplikasikan informasi dan teknologi komunikasi dalam jaringan area lokal. Ada 117 perusahaan dengan 500 karyawan atau lebih berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan SEM, dengan aplikasi SPSS dan AMOS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi teknologi informasi yang lebih lengkap di perusahaan disimpulkan semakin tinggi kompetensi pengetahuan dalam teknologi informasi, maka kinerja organisasi perusahaan yang tercapai semakin tinggi.Kata kunci: Implementasi TI, Kompetensi TI, Kinerja Organisasi.

Abstract

AbstractThe research empirically verified the effect of ultimate ownership on industrial banking performance in Indonesia. Risk rate, efficiency, and general performance serve as proxy for bank performance. Based on multiple-regression test and Kruskal-Wallis test, the performance rank in terms of risk rate, efficiency and general banking performance were as follows, (1) mixed foreign and domestic banks, (2) foreign banks, (3) local governmental banks, (4) Indonesian national governmental banks, (5) family banks, (6) concentrated private banks, and (7) block shareholding private insititutions. The percentage of the ultimate ownership did not affect the risk rate, efficiency and general banking performance; but significantly and positively affected profit growth. The bank size has negative effect on the risk indicator, ETA and CAR. The bank size negatively affected BOPO. The bank size positively affects on DEA meaning bigger bank is more efficient. Bank did not significantly differ in general performance – which was measured with ROA and profit growth – but significantly and positively affected ROE.Keywords: ultimate ownership, risk, efficiency, performanceAbstrakPenelitian ini secara empiris memverifikasi pengaruh kepemilikan ultimat pada kinerja industri perbankan di Indonesia. Berdasarkan uji regresi berganda dan Kruskal-Wallis, peringkat kinerja dalam hal tingkat resiko, efisiensi dan kinerja perbankan secara umum adalah sebagai berikut (1) bank asing dan domestik digabung, (2) bank asing, (3) bank pemerintah daerah, (4) bank pemerintah nasional, (5) bank keluarga, (6) bank swasta terkonsentrasi, dan (7) kepemilikan saham institusi swasta. Persentase kepemilikan akhir tidak mempengaruhi tingkat resiko, efisiensi dan kinerja perbankan secara umum, tetapi secara signifikan dan positif mempengaruhi pertumbuhan laba. Ukuran Bank memiliki efek negatif pada indikator risiko, ETA dan CAR. Ukuran Bank secara negatif mempengaruhi BOPO. Ukuran Bank secara positif mempengaruhi DEA. Bank tidak berbeda secara signifikan dalam kinerja umumnya yang diukur dengan ROA dan pertumbuhan laba, tetapi kinerja ini secara signifikan dan positif mempengaruhi ROE.Kata kunci: kepemilikan akhir, risiko, kinerja, industri perbankan, efisiensi

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the value of the firm. Second, find out if Corporate Governance moderates the relation¬ship between Corporate Social Responsibility with the firm value. The sample is selected by purposive sampling method, ie sampling technique using a certain considerations that are relevant to the selected sample research purposes. The number of samples obtained are 22 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data analysis was performed by descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results show that the Corporate Social Responsibility is significantly positive effect on firm value. This means the better the implementation of CSR by companies the firm's value will increase. Second, good corporate governance as a moderating variable can significantly affect the relationship between CSR and firm value.Keywords: corporate social responsibility, firm value, good corporat governanceAbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Corporate Social Responsibility terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kedua, mengetahui apakah Corporate Governance memoderasi hubungan antara Corporate Social Responsibility dengan nilai perusahaan. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, yaitu teknik sampling dengan menggunakan pertimbangan dan batasan tertentu sehingga sampel yang dipilih relevan dengan tujuan penelitian. Jumlah sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 22 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Corporate Social Responsibility secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan. Hal ini berarti semakin baik penerapan CSR oleh perusahaan maka nilai perusahaan akan semakin meningkat. Kedua, Good Coporate Governence sebagai variabel moderating secara siginifikan berpengaruh terhadap hubungan antara CSR dan nilai perusahaan.Kata Kunci: corporate social responsibility, nilai perusahaan, good corporate governance

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to test empirically the effects of cross-functional integration, communication quality, completeness, commitment, capability, content strategy and organizational performance adaptability. With purposive sampling, respondents to this study is 120 executives from a total of 526 executives of small banks in the Province of Central Java. The data were analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Model) with the AMOS program. The findings of this study indicate that all hypotheses have been significantly accepted. Thus, the managerial implications of these findings as an effort to improve the quality of organizational performance can be achieved through improving the quality of service content strategy that is built with highly adaptabilityKeywords: organizational performance, communication quality, completeness, commitment, capability, content strategy. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris efek lintas-fungsional integrasi, kualitas komunikasi, kelengkapan, komitmen, kemampuan, strategi konten dan kemampuan beradaptasi kinerja organisasi. Dengan metode purposive sampling, responden untuk penelitian ini adalah 120 eksekutif dari total 526 eksekutif perbankan kecil di Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan SEM (Structural Equation Model) dengan program AMOS. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semua hipotesis yang dibangun dapat diterima secara significan. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to examine the effect of value of goods at a store on the willingness of consumers to pay premium prices. To achieve these objectives, this study used mediator variables i.e. store attractiveness, attitudes to loyalty, and repurchase loyalty. This study used 96 people as sample of consumers who are making a purchase at the store frames, which are obtained through convenience sampling technique. Data analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM) and data processing program AMOS. The results of the analysis proved that the influence of value of goods at a store on the willingness of consumers to pay premium prices, and the proportion of these effects show a strong dominance of the exogenous variables on endogenous variables.Key words: value of goods, the store attraction, loyalty, attitude to loyal, premium prices.AbstrakSalah satu kebijakan penting di bagian pemasaran adalah distribusi barang yang harus dilakukan produsen dan perantara. Aspek tersebut digambarkan dalam penelitian ini berupa pengaruh nilai barang pada suatu toko terhadap kesediaan konsumen untuk membayar harga premium. Sedangkan daya tarik toko, sikap untuk loyal, dan loyalitas pembelian kembali digunakan untuk melihat adanya variabel mediator di antara dua variabel penting tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melibatkan sampel konsumen yang sedang melakukan pembelian di toko pigura sebanyak 96 orang, yang diperoleh melalui teknik convenience sampling. Penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan structural equation modelling (SEM) dan Program pengolah data AMOS ini berhasil membuktikan adanya pengaruh nilai barang pada suatu toko terhadap kesediaan konsumen untuk membayar harga premium, dan proporsi pengaruh tersebut menunjukkan dominasi yang kuat dari variabel eksogen terhadap vaiabel-variabel endogenKata kunci: nilai barang, daya tarik toko, loyalitas pembelian kembali, sikap untuk loyal, kesediaan membayar harga premium.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to identify policies and practices of Human Resource (HR) development at shariah bank; then analyze their influence into organizational performance. Variables of this study are policies and practices of HR development, work attitude, selection, training, development, policy formalization, communication, promotion, compensation, and performance appraisal. Data were collected by using in-depth interview and survey questionnaire. Interviews were conducted to management, while questionnaires were distributed to 70 employees. Data were analyzed by using descriptive method. Result shows less optimal of HR management practices in most of the respondent of syariah banks; these including the allocation of training time and frequency of execution, clarity of the basis for setting promotion, the type and amount of compensation that is less competitive when compared with the same type of job in another bank, and performance appraisals that are less oriented toward employee development. Key words: policies and practices of HR management, shariah bank, performance, employee development.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kebijakan dan praktek pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) di bank syariah, kemudian menganalisis pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja organisasi. Variabel penelitian ini adalah kebijakan dan praktek pengembangan SDM, sikap kerja, seleksi, pelatihan, pengembangan, formalisasi kebijakan, penilaian kinerja, promosi, kompensasi, dan kinerja. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan kuesioner. Wawancara dilakukan untuk manajemen, sementara kuesioner dibagikan kepada 70 karyawan. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa praktik manajemen SDM bagi sebagian besar responden bank syariah kurang optimal. Hal ini termasuk alokasi waktu pelatihan dan frekuensi pelaksanaan, kejelasan dasar untuk pengaturan promosi, jenis dan jumlah kompensasi yang kurang kompetitif bila dibandingkan dengan jenis pekerjaan yang sama di bank lain, serta penilaian kinerja yang kurang berorientasi pada pengembangan karyawan. Kata kunci: kebijakan dan praktek manajemen SDM, bank syariah, kinerja, pengembangan karyawan.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the influence of ownership structure on firm value of financial performance and debt policy as an intervening variable. Data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the OSIRIS database and indexes that are the result of previous research. This study used the path analysis conducted using the Eviews 6.0 and SPSS 17 programs. From the results of data analysis can be concluded that in Indonesia (1) the ownership structure proxied by insider ownership has no relationship with debt policy; (2) the ownership structure proxied by insider ownership has relationship with financial performance; (3) debt policy has not affect stock prices, as a proxy of firm value; (4) there is a positive influence on financial performance with corporate values; and (5) there is no influence of ownership structure on corporate value through debt policy and financial performance as an intervening variable.Keywords: ownership structure, firm value, debt policy, financial performanceAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh struktur kepemilikan terhadap kinerja keuangan yang mana kebijakan hutang sebagai variabel intervening. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari database OSIRIS dan indeks yang merupakan hasil dari penelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan program Eviews 6.0 dan program SPSS 17. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa di Indonesia (1) struktur kepemilikan yang ditunjukkan oleh insider ownership tidak memiliki hubungan dengan kebijakan utang; (2) struktur kepemilikan yang ditunjukkan oleh insider ownership memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja keuangan, (3) kebijakan hutang tidak mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan yang diproksi oleh harga saham; (4) ada pengaruh positif kinerja keuangan terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan (5) tidak ada pengaruh struktur kepemilikan terhadap nilai perusahaan melalui kebijakan hutang dan kinerja keuangan sebagai variabel intervening.Kata kunci: struktur kepemilikan, nilai perusahaan, kebijakan hutang, kinerja keuangan
