Abstract

Sampah berperan mencemari lingkungan sekitarnya. Sampah – sampah yang lembab, dan busuk, yang menjadi sarang lalat akan berperan menebarkan penyakit di sekitarnya. Untuk mengatasi hal ini dibutuhkan program pendidikan lingkungan hidup baik di sekolah dan masyarakat. Program sekolah peduli lingkungan hidup (Adiwiyata) sangtlah penting untuk menamkan anak didik untuk cinta lingkungan. Abstract

Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in this study for the material temperature, is focused on cooperative learning model. PTK performed in two cycles. The treatment cycle by implementing Cooperative Learning I, are given materials on the temperature at which the students after it is divided into cooperative groups, then discuss the matter temperature and answering the questions. After the learning process in cooperative groups conducted for the answer and deduce the results of the discussion. While on the cycle II do cooperative learning model using experimental methods and teaching tools such as worksheets, tools and materials in the experiment. The results of use of cooperative learning model with the experimental method at the temperature of the subject helps students to be more active and creative. The results showed that the exhaustiveness of the cycle I amounting to 63.88% and the cognitive value of the average 58.47 and the cycle II with 83.3% completeness and cognitive value of the average 68.75. Abstract

Sampah plastik berperan mencemari lingkungan sekitarnya. Sampah – sampah yang lembab, dan busuk, yang menjadi sarang lalat akan berperan menebarkan penyakit di sekitarnya. Kelangkaan alat laboratorium, yang disebabkan oleh kenaikan harga produksi yang signifikan, telah mendorong pemerintah untuk mengajak masyarakat mengatasi masalah alat laboratorium bersama – sama. Apalagi dengan diluncurkannya kurikulum tingkat satuan pelajaran (ktsp) oleh pemerintah telah mendorong kita untuk membentuk siswa lewat kecakapan hidup (life skill). Pembuatan alat laboratorium dari sampah plastik merupakan contoh penerapan life skill kepada siswa, sehingga tidak bergantung pada alat laboratorium yang disiapkan oleh pemerintah, tapi dapat disiapkan sendiri oleh para siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) memanfaatkan sampah plastik sebagai alat laboratorium ipa fisika untuk mengatasi pencemaran lingkungan, (2) menganalisis tingkat kehandalan alat peraga yang dibuat dari sampah plastic dan (3) menganalisis keberhasilan penerapan model pemebelajaran kooperatif tipe investigasi kelompok yang memanfaatkan alat peraga dari sampah plastik. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen, dimana mengkaji tingkat kehandalan alat dengan cara mengamati gejala fisis pada masing – masing alat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ternyata alat laboratorium tersebut dapat memperjelas gejala fisis yang abstrak. Dilihat dari segi fungsi alat laboratorium yang telah dibuat ini tidak kalah dengan alat laboratorium yang diproduksi oleh pabrik. Keunggulan alat laboratorium ini dibandingkan dengan alat laboratorium yang diproduksi oleh pabrik yaitu alat laboratorium ini hanya membutuhkan biaya produksi dan operasional yang relatif murah. Abstract

For lecturers, in terms of designing learning strategies should consider the input characteristics such as the tendency of learning styles, motivation and other factors. Therefore important for teachers to be aware of her teaching style for there is no gap between lecturers and students. For students hendanya realize the type of learning style that is owned in order to choose the most effective way of learning according to need. Has done research on the effect of learning styles on student learning outcomes in course of basic physics II on physical education courses that aim to determine the effect of learning styles on learning outcomes in student of basic physics II. The population in this study were all students of physical education courses the second semester of 2009/2010 and the force is the total sample of 31 students. Data collection techniques were observation, questionnaires and documentation. Analysis using SPSS. Results showed that learning styles possessed by students of physics education courses the second semester is a type of visual learning style. Learning styles have significant impacts on student learning outcomes with t statistic p-value of 0.000 (

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of quantum teaching learning models and methods of snowball throwing through the collaboration of the chemical of interest and achievement (subject: compound nomenclature and equation in class X SMAN 4 Jayapura). The method used in this study was quasi experimental with a sample of 100 people were divided into two classes (class control and experimental classes). The results reveal that there are different interests and student achievement between the classes that use quantum model of learning and teaching through collaboration throwing snowball method used class of models than conventional learning, evidenced through Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 resulting from the Mann Whitney U test In addition there is a difference of understanding the concept of students as evidenced from the average normalized gain overall grade of 0.80 compared to classroom experiments using conventional learning models of 0.35. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) differences in motivation to learn classroom STDA applied learning model (2) differences in classroom lerning outcomes STDA applied learning model (3) imcreasing mastery of concepts after STDA cooperative learning model. The population in this study were all students of class VIII class with 70 people. The sample used is a sample eighth grade students as a class VII D experiment control class. Collecting data using SPSS version 6. Normality test results show Gain experiment n and n 0,710 0.752 Gain Control, a significant count > 0,05, normal data. Results showed sig homre oenetis count < 0,05, signifakan the two groups had similar or homogenous variance. The results of hypothesis testing ( t test) sig hit < 0,005, reject Ho and accept Ha. The conclusions of this study were (1) there is a difference motivation to learn classroom applied the model type STAD cooperative learning (2) there are differences in learning outcomes applicable class type STAD cooperative learning model (3) there is an increasing mastery of concepts after STAD cooperative learning model. Suggestions that can be extracted is the junior high school teachers should motivate YPPK ST.PAULUS Abepura learn that the results of biological studies students are getting better.
