Abstract

One form of improved services and performance of the functions of an agency is a well-defined business and data processing activities that follow the development of information and communication technology, So that it can realize its strategic objectives. One way that can be taken is to conduct agency enterprise architecture definition. In this study, a case study on Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Daerah Kabupaten Lampung Tengah using the enterprise architecture planning (EAP) and generates blueprints information systems. In this study, the steps undertaken by the EAP, such as initiation planning, business modeling, systems and current technology, data architecture, application architecture, technology architecture, and the last is the implementation plan. After doing the whole process of the EAP, then the resulting 36 data entities and 28 candidate applications in 8 activities and training functions of the Board of Education Central Lampung District. With the resulting 36 entities and 28 candidate applications on the agency to contribute in the development of information systems in the future. Due to the blueprint of information system resulting from this study as a benchmark in the development of information systems. Keywords: Enterprise Architecture Planning, Arsitektur Enterprise

Abstract

PT. Sinar Antjol is one of industries that contribute to the global industry. Including one of the private companies engaged in consumer goods in the Greater Jakarta area, and established in 1942 and consists of several branches and subsidiaries namely ORPA, LODAN, PLUIT, TANGERANG. Until now the administrative services is still manual, it can be seen when every administrative unit records every transaction in the computer with the spreadsheet program. In this thesis, the writer developed an administrative service system which is computerized, data related and all computers connected in the same network, thus, the administration service can run well and smooth. This research method began by analyzing the manual and not centralized system in the company then making the network system, network requirements specification, software requirement specification enterprise resource planning (ERP), Domain Servers, and Terminal Server. In the new administrative service system, using the LAN and WAN networking technology, PT. Sinar Antjol can serve both distribution and retailing quickly and accurately. Note: "The concept of a computer network was made  in the 1940s in America  from a computer Model I development project in Bell’s lab and Harvard University research group which is led by Professor H. Abstract

In disbursing loans to the members, the Cooperative Mandiri Utama should consider several things including, the files submission must be complete, been already had  a family, living in the same area with ​​the Cooperative office, already had job security and / effort that is being/has been running. Method of analytic hierarchy process or AHP is often called one of the methods that is used for decision making in a variety of issues such as decision-making (of) major selections, the winer of bidder project, the selection of housing, etc. Method of analytic hierarchy process is easily understood and applied to various types of cases that can be generally described the characteristics that the final result was obtained by calculating the percentage who belong to certain elements of the calculation. The new application system in a data processing Lending Decision Support System on Cooperative Mandiri Utama AHP method has to be used to process credit analysis and decision concludes the creditworthiness so it facilitate the cooperative Mandiri Utama in making decisions on loans made ​​by the cooperative. Abstract

To be able to compete with other universities, one of the efforts is to improve the service quality to students by giving right lecturer on the right subjects. This research is referring to priority of lecturer in private university by doing assessment lecturer performance for each semester to determine quality and competence of lecturer finally will give the affect in determining subjects will be taught. The obstacle is such as there is no information system to determine lecturers which are suitable of education background. This research produced a model that support a decision in determining lecturer with the best performance will be teaching certain subjects in each period. Abstract

E-Learning has become a strategy and solution for agencies education and successful organizations in the world in order to regulate and updating of knowledge and learning. For its members, so that no less in an increasingly competitive competition in the era of globalization. When e-learning owned agencies or organizations can be integrated into social media then it would make learning process will be growing and very enjoyable. The method used in this study is to collect data needed to build e-learning and social media.The developed  E-learning is using moodle cms and social media is using Mahara cms. E-learning online is developed by garuda-book.com address and cs-learning.com while social media developed to address janevela.com. This is the result of an empirically-based social media e-portfolio and e-learning are integrated with the method of single sign on. Users can access social media through e-learning that has developed. Respondents were involved in the testing of this system comes of students of informatics and informatics engineering management. Of the 100 respondents who were randomly selected to evaluate the developed social media  that produces 100% the registration process easier,87% easy charging profile, charging 70% of e-portfolio is easy, 100% manufacture easy group, 72% of making blogs easy and 100% knowledge sharing Keywords: E-learning, social media, e-portfolios and Sigle Sign on

Abstract

An information system is inseparable with the database as data repository and give the data service to information system. Information system basically translate the business rule from an organization into form of algorithm programming which later then planted in application. Database which used conventionally have the character of passive and there is no controlling mechanism, that happened only mechanism just enter and its exit of data. With the existence of active of database system, a database earn the reactive behavior and conduct the controlling of information system  at database level. Business rules which is as a rule planted in application can be planted directly into database and can be used concurrently by entire/all application that using database. This writing give the study about an alternative approach of  business rules and active database system in developing an information system by planting business rules in the form of programming algorithm into database management system so that more improving the performance of information system. This active database system approach  can be implemented not only in the field of information systems development, but can be used as a data base responsive to collaborate with the control system hardware. Abstract

This research was proposes an approach to identifying vertebrates or invertebrates that premises Kohonen Self Organizing Map (SOM). SOM is one of the topology of the Artificial Neural Network (ANN).The network will be trained to classify five kinds of animals that will represent each class. Abstract

This paper discusses about the fingerprint mapping of Received Signal Strength (RSS) WLAN, placed in UGM’s Electrical Engineering (TE) building on 3rd Floor Corridor. RSS WLAN measurements performed by using visualization NetSurveyor software and RSS fingerprint map visualization created using RapidMiner software. Dimension area of 3rd floor of UGM’s TE building is 1696.68 m2 and formed in 1893 grids for each grid is 1 m x 1 m. Measurement of RSS WLAN to 5 access points performed in duration of 1 minute 58 seconds, and produce as many as 86980 record. The results of this research is fingerprint visualization map as calibration of RSS WLAN distribution at JTETI building on the 3rd floor which can be used for the development of indoor localization. Abstract

Data mining is a term that used to discover hidden knowledge in the database. Data mining is a semi-automatic process that uses statistical techniques, mathematics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to extract and identify potential useful information and knowledge that stored in large databases. One of methods in data mining is association rule method where this method will looking for a set of items that frequently occur together. This method is often analogous as shopping cart which can be known, what items are frequently purchased together and which items are not. The advantage of this method can be utilized to determine amount of inventory that must be provided in a business. In this paper will be made of a mining system that will show the trend of buyers in a restaurant so that decision-makers will be able to determine amount of groceries accordance with the business need to minimize losses. Abstract

In general a translator use keypad or keyboard as input device. Sometimes user getting trouble when he or she must type long word or sentence. A new way to solve that problem is using Optical Character Recognation (OCR). In this research we developed English -  Indonesian, Indonesian - English translator using OCR and Augmented Reality. This application running well in Android flatform, when support of good lighting and particular camera distance and point of view. This application have two output, namely text and sound which realized by Augmented Reality technology . Keyword : Translator, Optical Character Recognation, Augmented reality.
