Abstract

General election of regional head, governor or regent, in Indonesia is conducted conventionally. This kind of election is prone of human errors and also black campaigns committed by certain parties. This research aims to build an e-voting system in Tasikamalaya City using Two Central Facilities Protocol, i.e.: Central Legitimization Agency (CLA), for the approval of voters, and Central Tabulating Facility (CTF) for counting. This system is purposed to facilitate the general elections, so that the election will be run effectively and efficiently. However, there are some factors to be considered to polish the system in order to implement it in real general elections. Abstract

Classification techniques with the formation of the decision tree is a data processing technique enormous able to present the data into information that is easily understood by almost everyone didandingkan in table form. Usually, the results of data collection is in table form. But not everyone is able to read the tables quickly and accurately as you wish manufacturer, especially if the data is very large. Data in this study hundreds of data presented in tabular form. All prospective students information collected in one table with a lot of items, ranging from personal data, parents to home school. The resulting table will be difficult to understand so that the absorption of information becomes old and inaccurate. Presentation of information in the form of a decision tree into a proper alternative for the data very much. By using an application RapidMiner 5.1, the making of a decision tree data from prospective students to more easily and quickly so that the university management can see and know what are the factors that make potential students to continue the registration process to become a student. Keywords: data, information, decision tree, RapidMiner 5.0 application.

Abstract

A quail is a type of poultry which producers meat and egg that are rich protein and nutrients in it. Various efforts undertaken to improve the productivity of quail in the scale of cultivation, such as the addition of hormones, feed manipulation, as well as providing additional light with the ultimate goal of optimal growth so that better productivity. Light is one external factor that can spur the growth and control of various biological processes in the body poultry. This research’s aims are to create a tool that is able to increase the quantity and quality of quail eggs by controlling the light requirements in accordance with the needs of the quail, the illumination using monochromatic light blue by 15-25 lux for 14 hours per day. The method used to made Light Intensity Control System at Quail’s Cage Based-on Arduino Uno, it is starts with collecting information, design tools, making tools, testing tools and conclusions. Based on the results of tests that have been performed on prototype instrument control systems in the light intensity quail cage conclusion that the tool is able to work well in accordance with the design.

Abstract

Development of Internet technology has demonstrated the communication that occurs does not require face to face directly. Safety factor becomes an important issue in the communication using the Internet network. Various attempts were made to keep the information security and confidentiality can be maintained. Steganography and cryptography techniques present as a technique to achieve data security. This research attempts to develop an application that can be used for communication by using two techniques. In this study steganography method used is the Least Significant Bit (LSB) whereas cryptography method used is the Caesar cipher. From the research that has been done can be generated an application that has been able to perform encryption and decryption of secret messages that can be hidden in a digital image color (24 bit). Abstract

Fuzzy logic is a branch of artificial intelligence to build expert systems. Fuzzy logic is often used as problem solver in a system that does not use numbers, but linguistics or unobvious variables. One of the implementation of fuzzy logic is decision making in determine the topic of final assignment, especially bachelor thesis. IBI Darmajaya has some study programs in the faculty of Computer Science. One of those study programs is Informatics Engineering. The study program of Informatics Engineering leads the students to the specialization of Web Development and Multimedia, Software Engineering, or Expert System for their bachelor thesis. During this time, the specialization that taken by students is not actually what they expert in or the grade they earn from each subject. Usually, students take the specialization because of many students take that field. As the result, they have difficulties to finish their bachelor thesis. This research uses Fuzzy Inference System of Mamdani with 12 input variables, 37 rules, and 3 thesis specializations. This research aims to generate a fuzzy system as a decision maker to determine the thesis specialization. Key words: Thesis Specialization, FIS-Mamdani

Abstract

Carrefour is a company engaged in the field of trade. Carrefour during this procedure uses only the standard recommends employees per Division to include in the determination of the best employees. The assessment is done to determine the best employees of the company must comply with aspects such as mastery of insight into carrefour, mastery of the insight into the activities of the shops, the mastery of an insight into the management of the store, the ability to respond to and answer questions. The company is sometimes difficult in making a decision, especially if some of the existing employees have skills that are not much different the existing problems on the determination of the best employees. Therefore required a decision support system in the determination of the best employees. This research method using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) are often also known the term weighted summation method. The concept of the method is to find a weighted summation of the SAW of rating performance on any alternative on all attributes. The method of matrix the normalization process requires SAW decision (x) to a scale that can be compared with all the alternative rating. Development of a system that used to use the waterfall. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the best method to protect the computer network from virus attack that include in downloaded contents. Beside that, this research also aims to protect the connection to https. Data collection is done by observation and literature study. Method used in this research is experimental research, by trial and error to find the proper composition to do filtering. The result shows that squid proxy has no effect on https. In the other hand, if squid is collaborated by diladele web safety also does not affect the virus content. The collaboration of squid, diladele web safety and c-icap affects on filtering of https connection and virus content.

Abstract

PID control has been widely used in industry  as well as been implemented in the control of the liquid level . The research objective is to design  PID controller base on microcontroller  and then apply it on the miniature hopper-conveyor plant to maintain solid levels of raw materials to remain constant . The dimension of hopper is 25 cm long, 20 cm wide and 25 cm high. The design of PID control uses a separate action based on microcontroller and for the  tuning uses open-loop Ziegler-Nichols. The design is implemented in miniature hopper-conveyor plant to move the raw material form of green beans to the hopper using a screw conveyor. The screw conveyor is  rotated by a three phase induction motor with inverter speed drive. Level in the hopper is measured by using an ultrasonic sensor module build-in the data acquisition program . The experimental results of implementation on the miniature hopper-conveyor plant shows that PID control provides good performance such as overshoot occurs in  1 cm, or 0.05 % of set point and risetime shows 280 seconds.
