The purposive sampling technique is used to get the samples. The populations that fit the criteria are 80 people. The data collection uses emotional intelligence scale and the anxeity in facing the retirement scale. The data is analyzed by using the analysis of product moment correlation. The result of the analysis shows the number of the coeficient correlation (r) as much as -0.677 with the significance rate as much as 0.000 < 0.05. From the analysis, it can be concluded that there is a negative correlation between emotional intelligence and the anxiety of the civil servants in facing the retirement day. This means that the higher emotional intelligence is, the lower the anxiety in facing the retirement day becomes, and vice versa. Group experiment in this study were given preferential treatment in the form of training of intelligence adversity during a meeting with twice the time 240 minutes. Training provided by the two facilitators and three cofacilitator with method presentation and video footage as well as training materials have been compiled by researchers in the module. Data retrieval is performed using the Achievement Motivation Scale with the value of the validity 0,391 to 0,844 and reliability value 0,952. Based on the hypothesis test by Independent Sample T Test obtained value t count bigger than t table (3.447> 2.035) and P values less than 0.05 (0.002 <0.05) and hypotheses test by Paired Sample T Test obtained value of t count bigger than t table (3.241> 2.120) and P values less than 0.05 (0.005 <0.05) so that adversity intelligence training has an influence in improving student achievement motivation in class X in SMA Negeri 8 Surakarta.     Key words: Training adversity intelligence, achievement motivation

This research used multivariate analysis techniques of non-parametric Ordinal Logistic Regression. The results of simultaneous test using the Likelihood Ratio Statistic (LR) indicates the value of X2=28,942 (X2hitung>X2tabel) and p = 0,000 (p<0,05), means that there was a positive correlation between intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence with self-acceptance of difable young adulthood.  Partial Test of Ordinal Logistic Regression is a Wald Test. The Wald result showed that there was a significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence with self-acceptance of difable young adulthood (p=0,007; p<0,05), there was a significant positive correlation between spiritual intelligence with self-acceptance of difable young adulthood ((p=0,042; p<0,05), and there was a very low correlation although has no significancy between intelectual intelligence with self-acceptance of difable young adulthood.   Key Words: self-acceptance of difable, intelectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence

This research employed a descriptive quantitative method using correlational study approach. The population of research was the XI graders of SMA N 1 Teras Boyolali in the school year of 2010/2011, consisting of 234 students. The sample was taken using cluster random sampling, consisting of 76 students. Techniques of collecting data used were scale for the student’s perception on teacher competency and the teacher-student educative interaction variables, and documentation for mathematics learning achievement variable. Method of collecting data used was a multiple linear regression analysis and Pearson Product Moment correlation helped by SPSS computer program for MS Windows version 13. Considering the result of data analysis, it can be found Fregression = 50.485 wit p < 0.05. It shows the significant result, meaning that the student’s perception on teacher competency and the teacher-student educative interaction simultaneously have significant relation to the learning achievement. Result      rx1y = 0.762 with p < 0.05 means that there is a significant relationship between the student’s perception on teacher competency and the mathematics learning achievement, while rx2y = 0.164 with p < 0,05 means that there is a significant relationship between the teacher-student educative interaction and the mathematics learning achievement. The effective contribution given by student’s perception on teacher competency and teacher-student educative interaction predictors to the mathematics learning achievement is R = 0.58 or 58%.   Keywords: student’s perception on teacher competency, teacher-student educative interaction, mathematics learning achievement
