Abstract

Rainfall data is very important for planning in engineering, especially for hydrology buildings such as water irrigation, dams, urban drainage, ports, docks, etc. Rainfall has periodic and sto - chastic parts, and influenced by climatic parameters such as temperature, wind direction, humid- ity, etc. These parameters are transferred into the periodic and stochastic rainfall components. The rainfall is calculated to determine both, periodic and stochastic components. The missing data were caused by the malfunction of operation of the recording in the rain stations or human error itself.

Abstract

Dalam penataan kawasan perkotaan, khususnya penataan koridor jalan, survei visual menjadi salah satu metode yang signifikan yang dapat memberikan persepsi dan data empiris kawasan yang berguna dalam pemecahan masalah perancangan. Salah satu metode dalam melakukan survei dan sekaligus analisis ruang perkotaan adalah dengan pengamatan terhadap aspek spatial enclosure ruang jalan. Spatial enclosure adalah tingkatan atau derajat ketertutupan ruang yang memberikan kesan dan persepsi psikologis terhadap pengamat. Persepsi psikologis ini berbeda- beda, tergantung pada proporsi dan skala ruang yang terbentuk berdasarkan perbandingan an- tara jarak elemen vertikal dan ketinggian elemen vertikalnya. Melalui survei visual terhadap proporsi dan skala ruang jalan, maka dapat diketahui tingkat ketertutupan ruang suatu jalan yang menjadi dasar dalam analisis dan perencanaan ruang jalan. Proporsi diketahui dengan mengukur ketinggian pelingkup vertikal (dinding/h) terhadap jarak datar (lantai/tanah/d) yang dibentuk oleh elemen keras (hardscape) maupun lunak (softscape). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui spatial enclosure pada koridor jalan di kawasan perda- gangan Teluk Betung melalui analisis rancangan yang terbentuk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rancangan ruang jalan di area studi terdiri atas main enclosure dan secondary enclosure. Main enclosure memberikan efek psikologis dalam konteks skala kawasan dan kota, sementara secondary enclosure memberikan efek psikologis pada tingkat kawasan dan mikro. Penataan lebih rinci pada area secondary enclosure dapat menjadi kunci dalam melunakkan efek psikologis ru- ang yang ditimbulkan dan menciptakan ruang koridor yang berkarakter.

Abstract

Argoguruh Weir is the biggest irrigation weir in Lampung Province. This hydraulic structure was developed in 1935, crossing Way Sekampung River and serving Sekampung Irrigation Area which is about 67,000 ha. This weir is supplied by water from Batutegi Dam and baseflow of the upper Way Sekampung basin. Excessive water in Argoguruh Weir is passing by and flowing to the sea. Due to this condition, the government plan to build a dam between Batutegi Dam and Argoguruh Weir. This research aims to carry out a simulation of water balance in the Regulating Dam in order to find the best operational pattern for the dam. The Objective function of the simulation is water ele- vation of reservoir with probability more than 80%. The constrain of the simulation is that water elevation of the reservoir has to be higher than the water elevation of reservoir dead storage that is +102.30 m. Discharge data used in the simulation is daily discharge data of Argoguruh Weir from the year 2005 to the year 2013. The simulation is operated in 15-days time basis. Results of the simulation indicate that the objective function of the simulation is found in elevation +116.07 m with probability of 80.09%. On that condition, water from the reservoir is utilised for PDAM Pringsewu water supply and for the water supply for 242.90 ha new irrigation area. The lowest water elevation in this condition is +111.86 m. This water elevation is much more higher than the one of reservoir dead storage.

Abstract

The aim of this study are intended to compare periodic and stochastic tide models generated by using FFT frequencies and astronomic frequencies. The Fourier series are used to simulated peri- odic model, and the autoregressive method is employed to simulate stochastic model. 253 domi- nant FFT frequencies and 9 astronomic frequencies are used as constituent frequencies to simulate periodic models. 512 hours of data are used for the model. Results of this study present that the periodic and stochastic models using the FFT frequencies give more accurate results than periodic and stochastic models by using the astronomic frequen - cies.

Abstract

River flood control work involving them are two important analysis i.e. analysis of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. In the analysis of hydrologic calculation of discharge, the draft is one of the main objectives in the work of flood control of the river. The calculation of design discharge dis- charge based on data available on the river concerned or through the calculation of the design of rain then converted to discharge draft with empirical equations. On the other hand, the analysis of the hydraulics are also important do to the needs of the design capacity of discharge capacity of the river against a draft that would pass. This research was conducted on the analysis of the hydraulics for the River Way Besai using HEC- RAS which is a continuation of the analysis of hydrology. In the analysis of hydrology, on condi- tion there is no measurement data field, bankfull capacity of the river used as a calibration mate- rial for Q2. The disadvantages of calculation of flood discharge using rain data is that we should always assume that rain occurred in the entire WATERSHED. As a result of discharge produced sometimes too big or over estimated. Analysis of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis in Indonesia is still basically approaches is supported with logical reasons. Therefore the project work experience is a very important asset that will affect the accuracy of the analysis.

Abstract

Lambunu Irrigation Area is administratively part of ParigiMoutong Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This irrigation area is supplied by Lambunu River through its intake in Lambunu Weir and the irrigation water is supplied gravitationally. In the year 2014, planting pattern used in the area was paddy-paddy with 3,825 ha and 3,645 ha for planting schedule I and II, respectively. Ir- rigation operational pattern in Lambunu varied due to the development in irrigation system, the decrease of function of irrigation structures, the change of cropping pattern, and the fluctuation of irrigation water availability. Today, Lambunu Irrigation Area captures 5,041 ha of potential areas. Due to the changes in irrigation system and water availability, it is necessary to do some optimiza- tion in irrigation operational patern in Lambunu in order to find optimum planting area and opti- mum farming production. Of some alternatives irrigation operational patterns, carried out based on grouped and rotation system for paddy-paddy-secondary crops, the most optimum irrigation operational patterns has been found. It is irrigation operational patterns with ungrouped system and three planting schedules as follows: - Paddy I is in December I to March II - Paddy II is in April I to July II - Secondary crops in August I to November II Crop intensity for paddy and secondary crops in the area is 200% and 23%-28%, respectively. Grouped system will give the same result. However, it will reduce the maximum discharge of irrigation water demand.
