Abstract

This study aims to find the thoughts and movements carried out by Abdusshamad al-Palimbani. The method used in this research is a literature study or library research, by combining activities related to library data collection methods, reading, collecting, and processing research materials consisting of books, manuscripts, hand scripts. The results of the research showed that Abdusshamad al-Palimbani had broad ideas to build Muslim communities, especially in South Sumatra and generally in the archipelago in the areas of Sufism, Tawhid and important to defend the State. In the teachings of Abdusshamad al-Palimbani to his students and the works left behind his mind can be known. His thoughts were collected in various works;(a) Hidayatus Salikin fi Suluk Maslak al-Muttaqiin, (b) Siyarus Salikin ila Ibadat rabb al-alamin (c) Thufah Al-Raghibin fi Bayan Haqiqat Faith Al-Mu'inin, (d). Nasihat al-Muslimin wa Tadzkirat alMu‟minin fi Fadha‟il Al-Jihad fi Sabilillah wa Karamat al-Mujahidin fi Sabilillah (e) Zuhrat al-Murid fi Bayan Kalimat al-Tawhid, (f) Al-Urwat al-Wutsqa wa Silsilat Uli al-Ittiqa, (g) Ratib Abdus Shamad, (h) Zadd Al-Muttaqin fi Tawhid Rabb al-Alamin. The spread of Islam is intended to encourage the community to always fill its days with remembrance and reverence; (a) protect yourself from the fire of hell (b) Allah favors you that God makes us out of those who call on His name, He does not make us blameless (c). be bright and open with the zikrullah light (d). to him, the windows of heaven were opened (e). gentle heart and khusyu’ (f). abolished it with one sentence from the remembrance of ten crimes.

Abstract

Ibn Khaldun is an Islamic scientist who through his book entitled "muqadimah" has become an intellectual bridge for the development of science. He has provided facilities for intellectual leap in scientific development. He has examined several problems and phenomena of life about society, history and economics that have never been studied by scientists before.He has introduced new scientific concepts with a high degree of originality and laid the foundations of thought and theory for subsequent scientists. Ibn Khaldun had become one of the earliest and most well-known theorists in sociology, history and economics. He has become the founder of a school of thought which is only worthy named after his own name. In the book of Muqaddimah, we can get Ibn Khaldun's method in explaining various economic problems and linking these economic problems with the verses contained in the Qur'an. This is evidence of his efforts to explain that various economic activities have actually been regulated in Islam. His thinking deserves to be a reference in studying especially economics which has always been dominated by Western scientists. Keywords: Ibn Khaldun, Muqaddimah, Economics

Abstract

Education should spearhead and reform or reconstruct communities so that they become better. Islamic education must be directed to the fulfillment of philosophical ideals (self strength) so that it has a faith-based self quality. The education of the modern world must be able to integrate all the elements of values that exist in life, have worldly and finality aspects so that in their development these two aspects are equally running and can create an accountable education. This is an explorative descriptive qualitative research that describes philosophical views and thoughts about the reconstruction of Islamic education according to Muhammad Iqbal. The Finding this research Muhammad Iqbal views that now is the time for Muslims to reconstruct their thinking in various fields, including the field of Islamic education which aims to form human beings (real people) with human criteria that have strength, broad insight, fair deeds and have wise policies so that being a human being in the Qur'an is mentioned as a perfect being.

Abstract

The grammatical thinking of Arabic begins with the phenomenon of giving a society and how to read words in Arabic both before Islam and after the spread of Islam. If the benchmarks are from Islam then the grammatical is related to the Qur'an but if with before Islam the grammatical Arabic is related to Arabic words such as poetry and Arabic prose. Grammatical development also grows and develops according to the early pioneers and learning methods. So that each grammatical cleric of Arabic composes independently until the grammatical is mature epitimologies, each grammatical cleric of Arabic is like a teacher and student relationship. The Aim this study is illustrate how each grammatical thinker of Arabic language originates and develops the grammatical, so that it becomes a standard science until now as linguistic studies in linguistics. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method with data analysis in the form of data interpretation called ta'wil and hermeneutics. The findings of this research are self-composed science in the grammatical history of Arabic such as Uslub Taajjub, harakat and the point by Abu Aswad ad Duali, Arudh Qawafi by Khalil Ahmad Al Farahidi, taukid and ‘ataf Bayan by Sibawaiyh. Lafadz and Meaning by Ibn Jinni, al Ma’ani by Jurjani and other Arabic grammatical scholars.Pemikiran linguistik bahasa arab berawal dari fenomena untuk memberikan harakat dan cara membaca  sebuah kata-kata dalam bahasa arab baik sebelum Islam maupun setelah menyebarnya agama Islam. Jika tolak ukurnya dari Islam maka gramatikal tersebut berhubungan dengan al Qur’an tapi jika dengan sebelum Islam maka gramatikal bahasa arab tersebut berhubungan dengan kalam-kalam Arab.  Perkembangan gramatikal pun tumbuh dan berkembang sesuai perintis awal dan perkembangannya. Sehingga masing-masing ulama gramatikal bahasa arab menyusun secara mandiri walaupun sebelumnya disusun gramatikal tersebut, setiap ulama gramtikal bagaikan hubungan guru dan murid. Tujuan penelitian ini pun menggambarkan bagaimanakah masing pemikir gramatikal bahasa arab mencetus dan mengembangkan gramatikal tersebut, sehingga menjadi ilmu yang baku sampai sekarang sebagai kajian-kajian linguistik dalam ilmu bahasa . Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dengan analisis data berupa interpretasi data yang disebut dengan ta’wil dan hermeneutika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya program kursus pra nikah yang dicanangkan oleh Direktur Jenderal Bimbingan Masyarakat Islam (Dirjen Bimas) dengan tujuan menciptakan keluarga sakinah dengan cara memberikan bekal pengetahuan, pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam hidup berumah tangga. Program kursus ini menjadi sangat penting dan vital bagi pasangan calon pengantin. Sebab, menjaga keutuhan rumah tangga merupakan esensi yang dengannya pula akan terwujud lahirnya keturunan bermutu serta kemaslahatan rumah tangga itu sendiri. Dalam kaitannya dengan maqāṣid asy-syarī’ah, penulis berkesimpulan bahwa kursus pra nikah memiliki urgensi karena mengandung nilai-nilai kebaikan (maṣlahaḥ) dan kursus pra nikah merupakan al-maqāṣid at-tābi’ah (tujuan pengikut) bagi sebuah pernikahan yang memperkuat dan mendukung terwujudnya hifẓ an-nasl sebagai al-maqāṣid al-aṣliyyah (tujuan asal). Di samping itu, kurikulum kursus pra nikah memiliki relevansi dengan aspek pendidikan, aspek agama dan ibadah, aspek ekonomi, aspek sosiologis, aspek psikologis dan aspek biologis, serta penyelenggaraan kursus pra nikah  juga memiliki relevansi dengan ḥifẓ an-nasl dan ḥifẓ al-‘irḍ.Kata Kunci. urgensi, relevansi, esensi, maqāṣid asy-syarī’ah

Abstract

Artikel ini memfokuskan pada eksistensi fundamentalisme dan juga radikalisme yang ditinjau dari konstruksi diskursus hukum Islam. Wacana ini muncul berdasarkan pada penyimpangan cita idealitas al-Qur’an dan al-Hadist. Oleh karenanya, artikel ini mengurai pola dan karakteristik dari fundamentalisme dan radikalisme yang poros pahamnya berbasis pada kerangka keagamaan.  Dari diskursus ini, penulis mengidentifikasi paham dan gerakan ini akan berpeluang muncul di tengah masyarakat. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa para penganut fundamentalisme dan radikalisme sangat keras di dalam menyampaikan gagasannya. Bahkan mereka tidak segan-segan melakukan tindak kekerasan dalam bentuk anarkistik. Tapi, ia tetap perlu diakui sebagai bagian dari komponen masyarakat yang tidak keluar dari keIslaman. Pada dasarnya, gerakan mereka merupakan bentuk sikap menentang Barat dan modernisme yang dianggap telah melahirkan westernisasi, sekularisasi, hedonisme, pragmatisme, ketidakpastian dan kehampaan hidup.

Abstract

According to Indonesian Constitution of 1945, every citizent has his/her right to get education. Consequently, Indonesian government has to provide educational institutions for its nation, like school, madrasah and other forms of non-formal education. Both school and madrasah are carried out in different management. School management is on the hands of the Manistry of Education and Culture, madrasah is managed under the responsibility of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The difference, however, presents dualism of educational system in Indonesia. As the result, madrasah has no more progress, treated discriminatively, and marginalized.  What a negative action it has, nowadays madrasah still exists in this country.  The purpose of this article is to explain the quality of madrasah (plural: madrasahs) and their role as the agent of social change. This is a field research of qualitative-quantitative approach carried out in a provencial capital city, that is Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan Indonesia. The madrasahs studied were 15 (n=15) with various levels and status including the founding organizations that are responsible. The data were collected by questionaire, interview, observation and documentary.  By measuring the eight indicators of National Education Standard consisting of content standard, process, outputs, teachers and non-educational staff, structures and infrastructures, management, cost, and standard of assesment, it is finally concluded that the quality of madrasahs was very good, although a little difference found out among the educational levels of them, between the state and private madrasahs. In addition, by understanding the students mind set, value, belief, norm, behaviour and their moral or ethics, madrasahs also have played the role  largerly and significantly in social change, except in some aspects which have been deeply rooted in their tradition like their belief on supernatural life, sacrality and irrational power, that basically have not changed yet.

Abstract

Salah satu tarekat yang diikuti dan populer di kalangan umat Islam di Indonesia adalah Tarekat Al-Idrisiyyah yang berpusat di  Pondok Pesantren Idrisiyyah Tasikmalaya. Disamping mengelola pendidikan, Ponpes Idrisiyyah juga saat ini mempunyai fokus perhatian di bidang ekonomi dengan memiliki mini market yang di kasih nama Qini Mart. Melihat sistem pendidikan yang diterapkan di pondok pesantren ini, begitu menarik perhatian penulis untuk mengetahui dan meneliti lebih dalam mengenai peranan Tarekat Al-Idrisiyyah dalam bidang Akademik (pendidikan) terhadap Negara Indonesia. Tarekat Al-Idrisiyyah sangat mendidik para santri/santriah untuk hidup disiplin. Karena, kualitas generasi muda yang baik dipandang harus mampu memiliki kedisiplinan. Dalam segi waktu, para santri/santriah sangat disiplin. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari waktu bangun tidur mereka, mereka bangun pada dini hari dan melaksanakan sholat tahajud bersama. Di samping itu, setiap waktu sholat pun mereka selalu hadir di masjid sebelum adzan dikumandangkan. Itulah salah satu contoh kedisiplinan yang diterapkan oleh Tarekat Al-Idrisiyyah. Metode penelitian yang dilaksanakan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Selama penelitian ini, diri di pusatkan pada satu objek tertentu yang dianggap sebagai suatu kasus secara intensif. Dikumpulkan berbagai sumber dari pihak yang bersangkutan untuk memperoleh data studi kasus dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai sejarah dan amalan-amalan Tarekat Al-Idrisiyyah. Disamping itu juga, penelitian ini bermaksud untuk memaparkan system pendidikan yang diterapkan di Pondok Pesantren  Idrisiyyah dalam membangun generasi muda

Abstract

 The orientation of this article is to discuss the Islamization of science from the perspective of Ismail Raji al-Faruq. Humans living in this world have a desire to seek knowledge and truth. Knowledge is the result of a human effort to know. Knowledge in the narrow sense is a correct and definite decision. In the matter of science, humans must first understand what science is, what the obligations regarding science itself are. Even to the glory of science, humans must know it so that a sense of compulsory learning arises. In this day and age, we live in the modern era, we are obliged to study science in order to keep up with the times, because in fact science can reach the truth at the level of probability or possibility. Finding the truth is not easy and can be dangerous, but it is even more dangerous if we assume that the absolute truth is already in our hands. One of the pioneers of the Islamization of science is Ismail Raji AL-Faruqi, this simple article will attempt to explain how Ismail Raji al-Faruqi thinks about the Islamization of science. The method used is reviewing books and journals.

Abstract

Humans are present with all the potential that exists in them, both negative and positive, all of these potentials develop according to the direction of human life choices. Mental uneasiness originates from the development of wrong potential in humans, therefore it is necessary to take care of the soul in order to get the restoration of the soul, in this case, taking the view of Imam al-Ghazali about the restoration of the soul that starts from purification of the soul and ends in peace of mind. Islamic counseling as a solution to mental recovery in this article uses the views of Imam al-Ghazali on the concept of Sufism to obtain mental healing.
