Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the steps for planning a project-based learning (PjBL) model in teaching Mathematics in grade X in the global context of Globalization and Sustainability and describe how students' mathematical reasoning abilities are after experiencing learning using the PjBL model. The type of research used in this research is design research. In this study, researchers designed a hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) to teach Mathematics using the PjBL model in the context of planning to build a house. The stages of the research carried out were making the initial design, conducting design trials, and conducting retrospective analysis. The research subjects were six grade X students of private high schools in Yogyakarta who used the IB (International Baccalaureate) curriculum. The data collection instruments used by the researcher were field note sheets, written test sheets in the form of worksheets containing project questions, and structured interview sheets. From this study, the results obtained were that five students were able to use mathematical reasoning to complete the construction planning project of a house. Four students have been able to check the correctness of the solution and make conclusions.    Keywords: globalization and sustainability, project-based learning, mathematical reasoning, project-based learning, house building projects. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah merencanakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam pembelajaran Matematika di kelas X pada konteks global Globalization and Sustainability dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa setelah mengalami pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model PjBL. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian desain (design research). Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mendesain hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) untuk membelajarkan Matematika menggunakan model PjBL dengan konteks merencanakan pembangunan sebuah rumah. Tahap-tahap penelitian yang dilakukan adalah membuat desain awal, melakukan uji coba desain serta melakukan analisis retrospektif. Subjek penelitian adalah enam siswa kelas X SMA swasta di Yogyakarta yang menggunakan kurikulum IB (International Baccalaureate). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti adalah lembar catatan lapangan, lembar tes tertulis yang berupa lembar kerja yang berisi pertanyaan proyek, dan lembar wawancara terstruktur. Dari penelitian ini, diperoleh hasil bahwa lima siswa sudah mampu menggunakan penalaran matematis untuk menyelesaikan pembuatan proyek perencanaan pembangunan sebuah rumah. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of using the probing-prompting technique in significantly improving students' mathematical reasoning abilities in class and to determine students' responses to the application of the probing-prompting technique in mathematics learning during the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM). In this research, quasi-experimental research was used, a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2021-2022 academic year with a population of all class VIII students. The experimental class that received mathematics learning using the Probing Prompting learning model experienced a significant increase with a positive response in mathematics learning during the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) with a value of 0.70 in the high improvement category. Meanwhile, the control class with the usual learning model experienced an increase of 0.41 with a moderate increase. Keywords: ordinary learning, ppkm, probing prompting,  reasoning Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan teknik probing-prompting dalam peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dikelas secara signifikan dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penerapan teknik probing-prompting dalam pembelajaran matematika pada masa pemberlakuan pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat (PPKM). Dalam penelitian ini digunakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen, desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian dilakukan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2021-2022 dengan populasi dalam seluruh siswa kelas VIII.  Kelas eksperimen yang mendapat pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Probing Prompting mengalami peningkatan signifikan dengan respon yang positif dalam pembelajaran matematika pada masa pemberlakuan pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat (PPKM) dengan nilai sebesar 0,70 kategori peningkatan tinggi. Abstract

Abstract: Students' 4C skills cannot be trained properly because there are no 7E learning cycle model worksheets available on temperature and heat. So students still have difficulty understanding abstract concepts in the material. The aim of this research is to determine students' 4C skills after using the 7E learning cycle model worksheet. The development method used is Research and Development (RD) with a 4D model (define, design, develop and disseminate). The participants in this research consisted of 2 physics education lecturers and 1 psychology lecturer as validators, as well as 30 class XI MIPA students at MAN 3 Amuntai. The instruments of this research are validity questionnaires, pretest-posttest questions, communication and collaboration self-assessment sheets, and creative thinking observation sheets. 4C skills after using the 7E learning cycle model worksheet, namely critical skills obtained N-gain, namely 0.54% in the "medium" category, creative thinking skills were 60.78% at the first meeting and 62.01% at the second meeting, with the category " quite creative”, communication skills got 78.8% in the “good” category and collaboration skills got 78.2% in the “good” category.   Keywords: 4C skills, learning cycle 7e, worksheet Abstrak: Keterampilan 4C peserta didik belum dapat terlatih dengan baik dikarenakan belum tersedianya lembar kerja model learning cycle 7E pada materi suhu dan kalor. Sehingga pserta didik masih kesulitan memahami konsep abstrak pada materi tersebut. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keterampilan 4C peserta didik setelah menggunakan lembar kerja model learning cycle 7E. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Reseacrh and Development (RD) dengan model 4D (define, design, develop dan disseminate). Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 dosen pendidikan fisika dan 1 dosen prikologi sebagai validator, serta 30 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA di MAN 3 Amuntai. Instrumen penelitian ini yakni angket validitas, soal pretest-posttest, lembar penilaian diri komunikasi dan kolaborasi, serta lembar observas berpikir kreatif. keterampilan 4C setelah menggunakan lembar kerja model learning cycle 7E yakni keterampilan kritis memperoleh N-gain yaitu 0,54% kategori “sedang”, keterampilan berpikir kreatif sebesar 60,78% pada pertemuan pertama dan 62,01% pada pertemuan kedua, dengan kategori “cukup kreatif”, keterampilan komunikasi memperoleh 78,8% kategori “baik” dan keterampilan kolaborasi sebesar 78,2% kategori “baik”  Kata kunci: keterampilan 4c, learning cycle 7e, lembar kerjaDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v24i4.pp846-858

Abstract

Abstract: The rapid transformation of the world due to advances in science and technology encourages universities to develop students' meta-skill competencies to adapt to various changes in world work. This research aims to investigate the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) integrated team-based project (TBPj) on the development of undergraduate students’ meta-skills. This study employed a quasi-experimental design using one group pre-test and post-test design with 30 research subjects. Data were collected using a meta-skills instrument in the form of a questionnaire and analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results revealed a significant difference between the mean meta-skill scores of the students before (M = 37.50, SD = 13.31) and after (M = 86.57, SD = 4.30) the treatment [t(36) = 13.884, p 0.001; d = 4.20]. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the use of AI integrated with the TBPj model has a high impact on improving undergraduate students' meta-skills.    Keywords: artificial intelligence AI, team-based project TBPJ, meta-skills Abstrak: Cepatnya transformasi dunia akibat kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi mendorong perguruan tinggi untuk mengembangkan kompetensi meta-skills mahasiswa agar lebih adaptif terhadap berbagai perubahan dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan artificial intelligence (AI) terintegrasi team-based project (TBPj) terhadap pengembangan meta-skills mahasiswa. Studi ini adalah quasi eksperimen menggunakan rancangan one group pre-test and post-test design dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrument meta-skills berbentuk kuisioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji statistic paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara rata-rata skor meta-skills mahasiswa sebelum (M = 37.50, SD = 13.31) dan setelah (M = 86.57, SD = 4.30) perlakuan [t(36) = 13.884, p 0.001; d = 4,20]. Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of seeing and describing the influence of the Canva-assisted Problem Based Learning Model on Understanding Physics Learning Concepts at SMAN 7 Bengkulu City. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling and class XI IPA 3 was chosen as the experimental class and class XI IPA 5 as the control class. The design in this research is Nonequivalent Control Groups Design. The research instrument used was a concept understanding test. The results obtained in this research indicate the influence of the Canva-assisted Problem Based Learning Model on Understanding Physics Learning Concepts at SMAN 7 Bengkulu City. The hypothesis test used in this research is the Mann Whitney Test on the basis of decision making if the Asymp value. Sig (2-tailed) 0.05 then the hypothesis is accepted. The magnitude of the influence of the problem based learning model assisted by Canva on the understanding of physics learning concepts at SMAN 7 Bengkulu City, calculated by calculating the effect size, obtained an influence of 3.12, meaning that the influence given is very high.   Keywords: understanding concepts, problem based learning, effect size. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk melihat dan mendeskripsikan Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Canva Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Belajar Fisika Di SMAN 7 Kota Bengkulu. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dan terpilihlah kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah Nonequivalent Control Groups Design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah berupa tes pemahaman konsep. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Canva Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Belajar Fisika Di SMAN 7 Kota Bengkulu. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji Mann Whitney dengan dasar pengambilan keputusan jika nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0,05 maka hipotesis diterima. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop Android-based learning media using a STEM approach to enhance students' problem-solving abilities. The learning media was developed using the 4D model and tested on 192 eighth-grade students from six junior high schools in Yogyakarta. The research results indicate that the developed learning media fulfills aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Validity was confirmed through assessments by subject matter experts and media experts, scoring 82 and 73.5, respectively, falling into the categories of very good and good. Practicality was established through small-scale and large-scale tests, scoring 80.27 and 76.34, respectively, categorized as good in both instances. Effectiveness was determined through effectiveness tests, including one-sample t-test and mean different test. The one-sample t-test results indicated an improvement in students' problem-solving abilities with an average increase of 21.2769 in the control class and 42.5423 in the experimental class. The conclusion drawn from this research is that Android-based learning media using a STEM approach is effective in enhancing students' problem-solving abilities. Keywords: learning media, STEM, mobile application.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis android dengan pendekatan STEM untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Media pembelajaran dikembangkan dengan model 4D untuk diuji coba kepada 192 siswa kelas 8 dari 6 SMP di Yogyakarta. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dibuat memenuhi aspek valid, praktis, dan efektif. Aspek valid diperoleh melalui penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media dengan nilai 82 dan 73,5 serta masuk pada kategori sangat baik dan baik. Aspek praktis diperoleh melalui uji skala kecil dan uji skala besar dengan nilai 80,27 dan 76,34 serta masuk kategori baik dan baik. Aspek efektif diperoleh melalui uji efektivitas yang meliputi one sample t-test dan mean different test. Berdasarkan one sample t-test diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 21,2769 pada kelas control dan 42,5423 pada kelas eksperimen. Abstract

Abstract: Human behavior is increasingly changing along with the massive development of technology to the point that it can change how we communicate. Unfortunately, many teachers are still not proficient in using technology, making learning feel less concrete and exciting for students. The aims of this research are to develop interactive media based on Ispring, to describe the feasibility of the Golwan learning application, to describe the practicality of interactive media based on Ispring and the use of the additional website 2 apk android builder application as the final result of this learning application. This research method uses MDLC (multimedia Development Life Cycle) with six stages: concept, design, material collection, creation, testing, and distribution, by using data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires, unstructured interviews, and documentation. And the test subjects were for fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Karangsuwung. The research results state that Android-based interactive multimedia applications are suitable for use. By fulfilling the media expert test percentage of 83%. The percentage of assessment by material experts was obtained at 90%. The percentage assessment of prospective use is 91%. Response from potential users with limited testing got a percentage of 90%. What is classified as interactive multimedia (Golwan) is declared appropriate or very good as a learning media tool.         Keywords: interactive multimedia, classifying animals based on their food, ispring, website 2 apk android builder    Abstrak: Tingkah laku manusia kian berubah seiring masifnya perkembangan teknologi sampai bisa mengubah cara berkomunikasi dan cara mengajar di kelas. Sayangnya masih banyak guru yang belum mahir dalam penggunaan teknologi. Menjadikan pembelajaran dirasa kurang konkrit dan menarik bagi peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media interaktif berasis Ispring, mendeskripsikan kelayakan aplikasi pembelajaran Golwan mendeskripsikan kepraktisan media interaktif berbasis Ispring serta penggunaan aplikasi tambahan website 2 apk android builder sebagai hasil akhir aplikasi pembelajaran ini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan MDLC (multimedia Development Life Cycle) dengan enam tahapan : konsep, desain, pengumpulan materi, pembuatan, pengujian, pendistribusian. Dengan menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket, wawancara tidak terstruktur, dokumentasi. Dan subjek uji coba kepada siswa kela IV di SDN 2 Karangsuwung. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa aplikasi multimedia interaktif berbasis android layak untuk dipergunakan. Dengan memenuhi presentase uji ahli media sebesar 83%. Penilaian presentase uji ahli materi sebesar 90%. Penilaian presentase dari calon penggunaan sebesar 91%. Serta respon dari calon pengguna yang dilakukan dengan uji terbatas mendapatkan presentase 90%. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the characteristics of the PABMMSB instrument. Comprising seven task types and assessment rubrics measuring communication skills across four indicators. Employing a Mixed Methods Exploratory Sequential: Instrument development model with purposive sampling, the study involved 39 prospective physics teacher students. Data was obtained from 5 types of assignments that were selected and then assessed by seven raters and the result was that IKK01 did not meet the ZStd score criteria with a value of -2.2. However, because the MnSq (0.82) and PtMea (0.59) values have met the criteria, the ZStd value can be ignored and IKK01 is still declared valid, and for IKK02, IKK03, and IKK04 all have met the criteria and all indicators tested have met the criteria and are declared valid to measure communication skills. Apart from that, a reliability value of 0.87 was obtained and was included in the Very Good criteria. Keywords: characteristics, performance assessment, multiple intelligences, communication skills, rasch model, facet. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik instrumen PABMMSB. Instrumen yang dikembangkan terdiri dari tujuh jenis tugas dan rubrik penilaian untuk mengukur keterampilan komunikasi dengan empat indikator. Penelitian ini menggunakan Mixed Methods Exploratory Sequential: Instrument development model dengan teknik purposive sampling. Uji coba dilakukan kepada 39 orang mahasiswa calon guru fisika didapatkan data dari 5 jenis tugas yang dipilih kemudian dinilai oleh tujuh orang rater dan didapatkan hasil bahwa IKK01 tidak memenuhi kriteria nilai ZStd dengan nilai -2.2. akan tetapi karena nilai MnSq (0.82) dan PtMea (0.59) sudah memenuhi kriteria maka nilai ZStdnya bisa diabaikan dan IKK01 tetap dinyatakan valid, dan untuk IKK02, IKK03, dan IKK04 semuanya telah memenuhi kriteria dan seluruh indikator yang di ujikan memenuhi kriteria dan dinyatakan valid untuk mengukur keterampilan komunikasi. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the profile of students regarding literacy skills for global warming material. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method to reveal the results of the research obtained based on students' responses to the 10 questions developed. This research was conducted at a school in Surabaya with a total of 15 respondents consisting of 4 men and 11 women. The results obtained were then analyzed using the Rasch Model with Winstep software to make it easier to map the level of instrument validity and the level of students' literacy skills. The results of this research reveal that the relationship between the instrument developed and students has very poor validity and reliability values with a value obtained of 0.22. However, the results of further analysis can map item difficulty levels and students' ability levels based on the Wright Map where students who have very high literacy skills are coded 01LK and 08PK while the most difficult item is Q2. Apart from that, students who have very poor literacy skills are good at coding 07LK while the easiest item is with code Q1. In this way, there is a need to improve problem instruments and further research to continue to develop the potential of scientific literature, not only on global warming material.   Keywords: instruments, literacy scientific, measurements, rasch model. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil siswa mengenai kemampuan literasi untuk materi pemanasan global. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengungkap hasil penelitian yang diperoleh berdasarkan respon siswa terhadap 10 pertanyaan yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu sekolah di Surabaya dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 15 orang yang terdiri dari 4 laki-laki dan 11 perempuan. Hasil yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Rasch Model dengan software Winstep untuk memudahkan dalam memetakan tingkat validitas instrumen dan tingkat kemampuan literasi siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa hubungan antara instrumen yang dikembangkan dengan siswa memiliki nilai validitas dan reliabilitas yang sangat buruk dengan nilai yang diperoleh sebesar 0,22. Namun, hasil analisis lebih lanjut dapat memetakan tingkat kesulitan butir soal dan tingkat kemampuan siswa berdasarkan Wright Map dimana siswa yang memiliki kemampuan literasi sangat tinggi diberi kode 01LK dan 08PK sedangkan butir soal yang paling sulit adalah Q2. Selain itu, siswa yang memiliki kemampuan literasi yang sangat kurang baik diberi kode 07LK sedangkan butir soal yang paling mudah diberi kode Q1. Dengan demikian, perlu adanya perbaikan instrumen soal dan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk terus mengembangkan potensi literatur ilmiah, tidak hanya pada materi pemanasan global. Kata kunci: instrumen, literasi sains, pengukuran, model rasch.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v24i4.pp912-922

Abstract

Abstract: Critical thinking is one of the 4C competencies that is important for students to master to support their success in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the project based learning (PjBL) model on students' critical thinking skills. The method used is purposive sampling. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design (pre-test and post-test). The average results of the two samples are known through the independent sample t-test. The difference in critical thinking skills scores between the control class and the experimental class will be known through a parametric independent sample t-test with a sig value. 0.05 which means homogeneous. If tcount table resulting from the right-sided t-test then it can be said that HO is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning the learning model used in the experimental class has a significant influence. In the research that has been carried out, it is known that the project based learning (PjBL) model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills, which is known through the difference in the average scores of the control class and the experimental class.    Keywords: critical thinking skills, learning model, PjBL model. Abstrak: Berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu kompetensi 4C yang penting untuk dikuasai peserta didik agar menunjang keberhasilannya dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design (pre-test dan post-test). Hasil rata-rata kedua sampel diketahui melalui independet sample t-test. Perbedaan skor keterampilan berpikir kritis antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen akan diketahui melalui uji parametrik independent sample t-test dengan nilai sig. 0,05 yang berarti homogen. Jika thitung tabel  yang dihasilkan dari uji t-pihak kanan maka dapat dikatakan bahwa HO ditolak dan Ha diterima berarti model pembelajaran yang digunakan di kelas eksperimen memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. Pada penelitian yang sudah dilakukan diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) berpengaruh dengan signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang diketahui melalui perbedaan rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen.   Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, model PjBL, keterampilan berpikir kritis.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v24i4.pp859-866
