Abstract

This research to know: (1) Biodiversity  land epifauna; (2) Relationship of environment factor physical-chemical  with land epifauna biodiversity in conservation  at area Forest Mount of Sibela. This method is Descriptif research with Pitfall trap Technique to collect land epifauna. The result of this research were : 1) Land epifauna at this research counted 74 species of epifauna which consist of 4 class, 18 ordo, 36 family and 63 genus; 2) Biodiversity of land epifauna at conservation forest shall be as follows: a) diversity index equal to 1,46475 category, b) eveness index equal to 0,35089 category of balanced, c) dominate index equal to 0,06280 category of to lower, d) important value of highest at species of Formica sanguine equal to 11,9817; 3) There are relationship is  significant between of physical-chemical environment factor with diversity index. Found of this research can be exploited for the development of study of ecology concept and practical contribution about procedure research of simple desain of  technique making of trap of land epifauna in the form of Pitfall trap at research focus of animal ecology (land arthropod) and also Entomological in Khairun of Ternate University.

Abstract

Character is the way ot thinking and behaving every person in their living, such as in the family, community, and nation. Person who have good character are individuals who can make decisions, consistant, and consequence with their attitude and behavior. The reasons show that a character education needs to be invested as early as possible anticipate all of future problem. In biology learning, students can train responsibility value, care to environtment and conservation effort. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatkan kemampuan kerjasama dalam belajar biologi melalui penerapan strategi inkuiri terbimbing pada siswa kelas VII semester ganjil SMP Negeri 6 Kota Samarinda Tahun Pelajaran 2010/ 2011. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, dalam tiap siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan, dalam tiap pertemuan peneliti dan observer mengamati kemampuan kerjasama siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas VII-6 SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda yang berjumlah 44 orang dari populasi seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Samarinda yang berjumlah 343 orang. Hasil penelitian menunujukkan bahwa siklus I dari tiga kali pertemuan diperoleh rata-rata kemampuan kerjasama siswa sebesar 12,04%, siklus II dari tiga kali pertemuan diperoleh rata-rata kemampuan kerjasama siswa dalam belajar biologi sebesar 61,58% siswa yang mampu, dan pada siklus III dalam tiga kali pertemuan diperoleh rata-rata kemampuan kerjasama siswa sebesar 84,53% siswa yang mampu. Berdasarkan hasil anlisis data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kerjasama siswa dalam belajar biologi melalui penerapan strategi inkuiri terbimbing. Abstract

The research aims to overcome learning difficulties by implementing cooperative learning model “Examples and Non Examples STAD” through activity Lesson Study in Animal Structure college activities. Preliminary research by studying the documentation, observation, and limited interviews  to faculty and students about the usual lectures in Biology Education courses. Retrieval of data using the method of documentation, observation, tests, and interviews. Data were analyzed descriptive qualitatively. Preliminary research findings indicate that the material is abstract and the Basic Tissues are not related to daily life so it needs to concretisation process ; classes force lecturers held a Biology major classical learning, making it more difficult for understanding because students tend to be a listener only and not make the learning process. To overcome the disadvantages of learning in the college made the development of media in the form of a slides lecture that was presented on the LCD, especially for concreting material, students completed worksheets to conduct discussions and small group work activities, sheet test to determine student understanding, and cooperative learning model performed Examples of Non Examples and STAD through Lesson Study activities at the college activities by empowering collaborative work in small groups. Use of the method in this lecture can improve learning activities that were previously only 38.916% to about 73.930 to 77.833%, and all indicators of learning activities can be achieved. The results of the previous lecture that the average score of only 57.759 to 77.155 on Lesson Study2, so the increased is 33.581%. Based on the data obtained can be concluded implementation of cooperative learning model Examples and Non Examples STAD through Lesson Study in Animal Structure college activities can be a solution to overcome the difficulties learning materials Basic Tissues, which demonstrated the increased activity and student learning outcomes.Kata kunci: examples non examples, STAD, struktur hewan, lesson study

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to increasing students learning outcomes. This method provides a direct experience for students, students thinking skills, develop collaborative attitude with his partner and share knowledge with other students. The subjects in this research were students on grade X3 of SMAN 1 Batanghari academic year 2009/2010. This research was conducted on November 2009 which was carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle is held 3 times meetings and every meeting in each cycle carried out the evaluation.The results of this research show that the students learning outcomes in the first cycle with learning completeness percentage 53.13% with an average rating of 67.65, on the second cycle increases with the percentage of mastery learning to be 84.37% with an average rating of 83.28. Based on the results and discussion can be concluded that learning with TPS that accompanied with experiments can increasing students learning outcomes. The researchers suggest to teachers can be implement the TPS method accompanied with experiments to increasing student learning outcomes. Kata Kunci : TPS, eksperimen, hasil belajar

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to determine the increase in student activity, where the learning process-centered and see an increase in student learning outcomes of biology in the 11th science class at The first Prambanan Islamic Senior High School in 2009/2010 academic year with learning models numbered heads together (NHT). The study consisted of two cycles, the first cycle had done by the two meetings held on 26 and May 27, 2010 with material "structure and function of reproductive men and women" and "spermatogenesis, oogenesis and ovulation ". Cycle II carried as many as two meetings held on 1 and June 2, 2010 by presenting "menstruation, fertilization, gestation" and "child - birth, ASI (mother’s milk), contraception, disorders of the reproductive system". Subjects were the 11th grade science class of The first PRAMBANAN ISLAMIC SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in 2009/2010 academic year on Sleman – Yogyakarta , which amounted  to thirteen students. Based on this study concluded that the application of learning models numbered heads together (NHT) can make the students active in the learning process, student-centered  learning (learning that focus on student) and improve learning outcomes. Kata kunci: Numbered Heads Together (NHT),  Hasil Belajar

Abstract

The objective of the research are to increase the student activities and learning achievement of Biology. The research conducted in class  SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Metro Academic Year 2010/2011 by using Classroom Action Research. There are two cycle in the research with tree meeting every cycle. The result of the research show that interactive multimedia can increase the student activities and learning achievement of Biology. Score average before using  Classroom Action Research is 28,23% and increase to 59,77% in cycle II. The reseacher suggest that interactive multimedia can implement to increase the student activities and learning achievement of Biology.
