Abstract

Character is the way ot thinking and behaving every person in their living, such as in the family, community, and nation. Person who have good character are individuals who can make decisions, consistant, and consequence with their attitude and behavior. The reasons show that a character education needs to be invested as early as possible anticipate all of future problem. In biology learning, students can train responsibility value, care to environtment and conservation effort. Based on the rasional, teachers should be facilitate the students character building through the planning and implementation character education based biology learning. Kata Kunci: Karakter Siswa, Pembelajaran Biologi

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to gain contextual teaching material in in general biology class. The type of this research is developmental research or Research and Development (R&D). Developmental model which is used in this research was adapted from Sugiyono and it was limited until the step of product’s test. The result of this research shows that the quality of contextual teaching material in biology subject which is developed by the expert of teaching design, the media expert, the biology lecturer, and the students who take this subject have a valid category with the following ideality scores: 4.076, 4.09, 4.19, and 4.03. The product of contextual teaching material should be revised to gain a better result.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to create the product of the Student Activity Sheet (LKPD) with scientific approach based. This research uses research procedure and development 4D equipment model suggested by Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel. This model consist of 4 steps, they are Define, Design, Develop and Desseminate, however in this research and development, the activity is done only in to the development steps. The result of expert testing toward the design of come into being thes aspect of LKPD includes in the suitable criteria with the precentage 79,66% and  the result of the test in the material content of LKPD  also includes  suitable criteria with the precentage 81,22% and the last is the test of reading level LKPD by the students got very good criteria with presentage 80,3%.  Based on the result from expert testing and student testing,  those  show that LKPD scientific approach base has been developed properly to be used and ready to serve as one of the references in Biology learning material scientific approach based in Fungi.  Kata Kunci: lembar kegiatan peserta didik (LKPD), pendekatan saintifik.

Abstract

An action research, with the implementation of lesson study in numbered heads together method combined with team games tournament method for character development, the increasing of learning activity, motivation, and the students’ learning achievement in biology at SMA Negeri 1 Kepanjen, is done with the purpose to develop the character of the students in learning biology. The implementation of Numbered Heads Together is combined with Team Games Tournament and it can develop students’ characters. The indicator of friendship has increased until 5.07% from cycle I to cycle II and has increased again in cycle III as much as 17.51%. The indicator of discipline has increased until 4.03% from cycle I to cycle II and has increased again in cycle III as much as 13.13%. The indicator of work hard has increased until 8.69% from cycle I to cycle II and has increased again in cycle III as much as 10.48%. The indicator of students’ independent has increased until 9.67% from cycle I to cycle II and has increased again in cycle III as much as 9.79%. Kata kunci: Lesson study, Numbered Heads Together, Team Games Tournament, Karakter Siswa

Abstract

This study aimed to obtained material learning based on inquiry integrated character values environmental care. This study uses a model of research is RnD. The result of this research show that the quality of material learning based on inquiry integrated character values environmental care is value validation of material expert is  90%, design experts is 86 875% and science teacher at 94.74%. material learning based on inquiry-based integrated character values environmental care should continue to be revised in order to obtain better results.Kata Kunci: Bahan ajar, inkuiri, peduli lingkungan

Abstract

Modul dapat digunakan bagi peserta didik untuk belajar mandiri dan diintegrasikan nilai keIslaman dengan harapan peserta didik memiliki pondasi agama yang kokoh dengan cara mengetahui kaitannya materi Biologi dengan nilai Islami. Selain itu, modul harus disesuai dengan perkembangan zaman, yaitu kebutuhan teknologi elektronik (e-modul). Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan dan melihat kelayakan bahan ajar berupa e-modul yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai Islam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Thiagarajan (4D) yang terdiri dari empat tahapan: pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Tahap pengembangan terdiri atas validasi dan revisi. Validasi dilakukan melalui uji coba dengan 2 tahap, yaitu uji ahli (ahli desain oleh 2 dosen, ahli materi oleh 2 dosen dan 1 guru, dan ahli tafsir Ayat Al-Qur’an oleh 1 dosen) dan uji kelompok kecil (25 peserta didik). Validasi digunakan untuk kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan e-modul terintegrasi nilai KeIslaman yang telah dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran biologi pada materi sistem respirasi dengan penilaian sangat baik berdasarkan penampilan desain 85,36%, isi materi 89,22%, tafsir ayat Al-Qur’an 96,36%, dan respon peserta didik 85,60%. e-Modul dapat diakses dimana saja dan kapan saja pada Playstore melalui smartphone android dengan kata kunci “Sistem Respirasi Manusia by Anggia”. Module can be used for students to learn independently and be integrated with Islamic values in the hope that students have a solid religious foundation by knowing the relationship between Biology material and Islamic values. In addition, the module must be adapted to the times, namely the need for electronic technology (e-module). The research objective was to develop and determine the feasibility of teaching materials in the form of e-module that was integrated with Islamic values.This type of research was research and development using the Thiagarajan development model (4D) which consists of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The development stage consists of validation and revision. Validation was carried out through trials with 2 stages, namely expert testing (design experts by 2 lecturers, material experts by 2 lecturers and 1 teacher, and exegesis of the Qur'anic Verses by 1 lecturer) and small group testing (25 students). Validation was used for the feasibility of the developed product. The results showed that the integrated e-module of Islamic values that has been developed was feasible for learning biology on the respiratory system material with a very good assessment. It based on the appearance of the design was 85.36%, the content of the material was 89.22%, the exegesis of the Qur'anic Verses was 96.36%, and students' response was 85.60%. e-Module can be accessed anywhere and anytime on Playstore via an Android smartphone with the keyword " Sistem Respirasi Manusia by Anggia".

Abstract

One of teaching materials that can be used to help learners in learning activities is a module. Islamic values can be taught to learners in learning activities, including biology learning. The purpose of this development is to produce POE-based module (Predict Observe Explain) that integrate on Islamic values on the plant tissue material at XI grade of Senior High School (SMA). Data analysis of validation result of module design evaluation got 82,4% percentage so it can be classified as "very strong" criteria, and material assessment in module got 85.4% percentage that can be classified as "very strong" criteria and on Islamic value of module got a 93.4% percentage that can be classified as "very strong" criteria. Based on the results of the validation data analysis can be concluded that the module that has been developed can be said that it was appropriate to use in the learning process.Bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu peserta didik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran salah satunya adalah modul. Nilai keislaman dapat diajarkan kepada peserta didik di kegiatan pembelajaran, termasuk pembelajaran biologi. Tujuan pengembangan ini yaitu menghasilkan modul berbasis POE (Predict Observe Explain) terintegrasi nilai keislaman pada materi jaringan tumbuhan kelas XI SMA. Analisis data hasil validasi penilaian desain modul yang dikembangkan mendapatkan persentase 82,4% sehingga dapat digolongkan dalam kriteria “sangat kuat”, dan penilaian materi dalam modul mendapatkan persentase 85,4% yang dapat digolongkan dalam kriteria “sangat kuat” dan terhadap nilai keislaman modul mendapatkan persentase 93,4% yang dapat digolongkan dalam kriteria “sangat kuat”. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data validasi tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul yang telah dikembangkan dapat dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: modul, POE (Predict Observe Explain), terintegrasi nilai keislaman
