Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of learning techniques Tri Focus SteveSnyder to improved reading skills effectively. The population in this research were 260students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Talawi Coal District. The sample in this studyamounted to 43 people were taken to probaliti techniques. The instruments used to collectthe data is an essay test. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental or quasiexperiment. Of processing the data obtained with the pre test mean = 63.13, standarddeviation = 7.23. The results of the post-test mean = 81.04, standard deviation = 7.43,then didapatlah t0 at 11.26. Furthermore t0 is known, then consulted with ttabel at 5%significance level with df = n-1 = 43-1 = 42. df = 42 obtained from the level ofsignificance of 5% = 2.02. Because t0 obtained greater than ttable ie 19.88> 2.02, thenull hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.Concluded that there is a significant influence on the use of learning techniques TriFocus Steve Snyder to improved reading skills effectively 2nd semester class X SMANegeri 1 Talawi District Coal learning year 2009/2010.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the frequency of reading the newspaper,the ability to understand the discourse and influence the frequency of reading anewspaper on the ability to understand the discourse. The population in this studywere students of class X SMA Methodist 8 Medan Year 2009/ 2010 Learningtotaling 110 people. Samples were taken 30 people.The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data collectiontool used questionnaires and tests. The questionnaire used to collect the datafrequency of reading newspapers and essay tests used to collect data is the abilityto understand the discourse.Once the data is collected and analyzed the results of the study showedthat the states Incidence Reading Newspaper Methodist High School Class X 8Medan Year 2009/2010 Learning is at sufficient levels to an average value of 65,Ability Discourse Understanding Methodist High School Class X 8 field ofLearning 2009/2010 are at a high level with an average value of 68.5, and theEffect Frequency Reading the news letter to the ability of DiscourseUnderstanding Class X 8 Terrain Methodist high School Year 2009/2010 arelearning at a very strong level is 0.857.To test the hypothesis, used product moment correlation formula is 0.857Furthermore, in consultation with the db table r N-2 (30-2) = 28, r = db table for28 is 0.374. Thus rh  rt (0.857> 0.374), determination index obtained from thecalculation is 73.44%. So the influence of the frequency of reading the newspaperwith the ability to understand the discourse of class X SMA Methodist 8 MedanYear 2009/2010 Study of 73.44% means that the hypothesis (Ha) reads thefrequency of reading newspapers significantly affect the ability to understand thediscourse of class X SMA Methodist 8 Medan Year 2009/2010 Learningacceptable.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia sebagai sumber pendidikan karakter tidak perludiragukan lagi keberadaannya, karena dalam bahasa Indonesia syarat akanpendidikan nilai-nilai yang merupakan substansi utama dari pendidikan karakter.Pendidikan karakter yang digali dari substansi bahasa Indonesia dapat menjadipilar pendidikan budi pekerti bangsa. Pendidikan karakter sebagai pilarpendidikan budi pekerti bangsa, dewasa ini menjadi sangat penting, karenapendidikan karakter sangat menentukan kemajuan peradaban bangsa, yang takhanya unggul, tetapi juga cerdas. Keunggulan suatu bangsa terletak padapemikiran dan karakter. Kedua jenis keunggulan tersebut dapat dibangun dandikembangkan melalui pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, sasaran pendidikan bukanhanya kepintaran dan kecerdasan (pemikiran), tetapi juga moral dan budi pekerti,watak, nilai, dan kepribadian yang tangguh, unggul dan mulia (karakter). Dengankata lain, antara pemikiran dan karakter harus menjadi kesatuan yang utuh.Realisiasi pendidikan budi pekerti bangsa yang digali dari sumber bahasaIndonesia dapat dimulai dari kalangan pendidikan melalui pembelajaran bahasaIndonesia. Dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, hendaknya dapat berlangsungmelalui proses pembelajaran pada setiap kompetensi dasar yang diajarkan dansetiap indikator hasil pembelajaran yang ingin dicapai.

Abstract

Philosophers who pursue the study of languages, such as JacquesDerrida, deny that the final language has meaning. Language is metaphor, so thatmeaning is always moving and changing incurred in accordance with the readinghorizon. Departing from this logic, if the language is a collection of religious texts(signs) for granted he does not know the meaning of the end.

Abstract

This research is motivated by shortcomings in writing short stories inparticular students to write short stories opposite of events that never happened.It was influenced by the uses of the learning model. The author provides analternative model of SAVI for use in teaching writing. However, previous authorswill test the SAVI models to determine the level of effectiveness. Based on theresearch background, this study refers to some formulation of the problem,namely: 1) How is the ability of class IX students of SMP Negeri 6 Bahorok inlearning to write short stories before and after the SAVI models applied in theexperimental class; 2) How is the ability of class IX students of SMP Negeri 6Bahorok in learning to write short stories without using SAVI models in thecontrol class; 3) Is there a significant difference between the ability to writepoetry class IX students of SMP Negeri 6 Bahorok in the experimental class in thecontrol class. The purpose of this study is to describe things that are listed in theformulation of the problem.The underlying theory is a theoretical model of SAVI "AcceleratedLearning" presented by Dave Meier and Bobbi DePorter, that goodpembelajaranyang it is learning that involves all aspects of the senses, fun(favored students), student-centered, and can can adapt to the way into the worldof students. This study used a quasi experimental research design with pretestposttestcontrol group. The data of this research is the result of the students writea short story consisting of experimental classes and control classes before andafter treatment. Experimental class using SAVI models, while the control classusing concept maps. The results of this study are significant differences betweenthe experimental class after using SAVI models, compared with the control classusing concept maps. Increased ability graders experiment (using models SAVI) by95%, while the increase in the ability of control class (using concept maps) of68%. This suggests that an increase in the students 'ability to write short stories inthe experimental class is higher than the improvement of students' skills in writingpoetry in the control class.

Abstract

This study wants to describe the relationship between the languages andmind in early childhood and want to describe the role of parents, teachers, andthe environment in developing language skills and thinking in early childhood.From the corner of the psychology of early childhood development is a child whohas limitations in the ability to think and speak. At this stage the child's way ofthinking, among others, still egocentric. Therefore that an increase in the child'sthinking, activities intended to enable them to perform classification, logicalthinking, and trained to solve problem.They should also be stimulated to learnabout a variety of concepts such as the concept of space, the concept of time, andthe concept of number. This research was conducted by using a qualitativedescription.Activities that can stimulate a child's ability to think is to improvechildren's language abilities. The language used by the teacher is a language thatraw organized yet simple and communicative. But in early childhood developmentto date is not known precisely the mechanism of how a child learns a language sothat the language can be learned.Based on the above, the authors are interested in doing research for "TheRelationship Between Thinking With Speak In Childhood".

Thisstudy aimed to describe the ability of opposition figure of speech in a sentencemastery class XII student of SMK HEALTH SAHATA Pematangsiantar 2014-2015academic year of calculation of the percentage figure of speech known masteryability opposition in class XII student sentence quite able to value - average (mean ) 70.33 . Students were categorized memproleh value (A) there is as muchas 33.33 % gain value (B) there is as much as 26.67 % , gain value (C) there is asmuch as 20 % , memproleh value (D) there are as many as 20 % and categoryvalue (E) there as much as 0 % .From the results of the analysis of data and thenumber of students who meet the criteria of completeness of the results of theability to master figure of speech in a sentence contradictions exist in bothcategories with the amount of 80 %.

Abstract

Interference as deviation phenomenon of language pattern thathappened in someone who can speak two more languages. Interference asdeviation cause the unsure which is absorbed by a language is already exist inpattern of languages. Between traditional and Indonesia languages still influenceseach other if both apply and it will appear forever. This research is aimed todescribing interference unsure in Pakpak lexical in writing of state Junior HighSchool 2 Satu Atap Siempat Rube West Pakpak in learning Indonesia language.This research was taken in state Junior High School 2 Satu Atap Siempat RubeWest Pakpak. The source of research have fifty two student, two classes, and allstudent as subject of research.After all the data collected and continued by discussing the research, somay be conclude that lexical unsure was affected by interference with details ofnoun lexical unsure as big as 84,61%, and the Verb in Pakpak language toIndonesia language in writing of Indonesia have low categorize with presentationas big as 46,13%, then lexical unsure of attribute word in Pakpak language toIndonesia language have low categorize as big as 48,07%. Base on the researchthat may be conclude that inference unsure lexical in Pakpak language toIndonesia language in writing’s student is low.

Abstract

Essential competencies professorship is professional competence, socialcompetence, and personal competence. Professional competency, competence inthe field of substance or field of study, competence areas of learning, teachingmethods, assessment systems, the value of education and guidance. Socialcompetence, competence in the field of relationship and service, communityservice. Personal competence, competence value built through behaviors thatteachers, has a personal and attractive appearance, impressive and teachersslang and "funky." The teacher called to be willing to learn how to teach well andfun learners and called to find a way of learning right. Let's just say, a teacher isnot only a profession that is determined through testing and certificationcompetence alone, but involves the heart, meaning that from the beginning theyhad dreams of becoming a teacher, a teacher who knew him, and as a noblehumanitarian duty calls followed by awards professional as well.Seritifikasi teacher is an attempt to improve the quality of teachers isaccompanied by an increase in the welfare of teachers, which is expected toimprove the quality of learning and the quality of education in Indonesia on anongoing basis.
