Abstract

In this paper, preparation of technology and its utilization as trapped function of dangerous odor and vapor in “fiberglass” art is presented. Trapped technology was prepared by using blower pump, pipa PVC, and n-hexene as liquid trapping. Fiberglass batter was sipped from pump through pipa PVC. Dangerous compound from fiberglass was trapped by liquid trapping in closed system. Dangerous compound characterization in n-hexane was performed by GC-MS analysis. From the result, it is concluded that trapped technology can trap fiveteen (15) dangerous compund from fiberglass batter with five (5) dominant peakes. There are 2-methylpentane, methylbenzena, methylcyclohexene, 1-oktene, and cyclohexene.

Abstract

Shipwreck is influenced by several factors, namely the ship and the port system is less than optimal, assuming good weather conditions. Invention at the port is to improve the performance of the port in knowing overweight and balance boatload of ships so as to avoid the possibility of accidents due to problems on the ship and the port. System improvements in the detection port charge balance on the ship using imu acellero Arduino board to detect the slope. Lab scale testing condition for sending and receiving data between a boatload of weight and handheld hardware android.Pengiriman angle of the data on the microcontroller via bluetooth at a distance of 30 meters with an average error 0.5%. Data on the equilibrium angle detection using imu acellero Arduino board has an average error 2.0%.

Abstract

This paper presents experimental and implementation of solar cell for alternative energy source of angkringan (traditional food stalls) in Yogyakarta province. The angkringan is a famous place among the stalls selling food and constantly visited by most of people. Implementation of solar cell has two functions, namely as a source of alternative energy for traditional food stalls and to keep a comfortable environment for fans culinary. Visitor feel comfort when they are not disturbed by smoke pollution outboard lamps and wood charcoal are usually used in the angkringan. The results show the resilience of solar cell can cover between 12 hours to 14 hours, and depending on the load used to turn other device besides substituting for wood charcoal and lighting. The tool resiliences are proportional to the operating time of food stall that usually requires lighting from 17:30 hours until 00:30 or more. Advantages of this tool also is with the mobile cart can make easier for entrepreneurs to find a strategic place for gaining benefit without relying on PLN power. With an affordable cost of solar cell can be applied to a food stall that could be an alternative solution to maintain a healthy and comfortable environment as well as getting the optimum benefit.

Abstract

Common fishery such as the one in “Pusat Budidaya Perikanan ”, the PKMT team’s partner, located RM. Kahfi I, No. 1, Kelurahan Cipedak, Kecamatan Jagakarsa is still conducted its fish feeding activity manually. The feeding process is crucially counting on the man power that spreads the food known as “pelet” directly to the pounds without calculating the amount of the food. For that reason, this PKM T’s work tries to build a fish feeding system which is economical, automated and hygienic. As a realization, a miniature of Microcontroller-Based Smart Fish Feeding System with special modified features of automated pelet’s timer and its dosage scale has been created. These features can be set in accordance to the wishes since the microcontroller is used as “the system’s brain”. It controls the solenoid valve and the DC motor of the pelet storage container to work. Thus, the system can not only measure how much pelet is left but also notify it through a buzzer.

Abstract

A pump is required by guava plantation at Karyamukti village to meet its irrigation. The pump is rented and its fuel is fossil fuel, so that owner of plantation need cost of operation and rental, which is expensive. The purpose of this activity is to design and manufacturing savonius windmill as an alternative pump drive, in order to give energy alternative, which don’t spend money to buy fuel and don’t cause pollution. This activity consist of requirement identification at plantation, designing of tool, manufacturing, assembling, testing of tool, and analysis. The result of this activity is worthy to replace fossil fuel pump in guava plantation at Karyamukti village because it can utilize potention of low speed wind.

Abstract

In Surabaya, Mangrove forest can be helpful for reducing the pollution beside to protect inhabitant beach from the see wave. The tour system of Mangrove forest is still use walking way and sometimes the operator use the car to deliver the tourist. It causes the air pollutions and that is not suitable for keeping the air. Zeon Electric Car can be solution as a zero pollution vehicle for Mangrove forest transportation. The advantage of this electric vehicle is no emission gas. Beside that this car uses the solar energy to charge the battery in order to get long service.

Abstract

Indonesian coastal have wind great potential because it has the second longest coastline in the world. In contrast to conventional wind turbines can only absorb a maximum of about 30 % of wind energy, wind tur-bine theoretically and practically helices can absorb almost 40-50 % and convert it into mechanical energy due to the helical blade design that uses the principle of lift force and torque on the blades distribution, so it is very advantageous to be applied to the coastal regions of Indonesia. By combining the generator dual axi-al and helical turbine power can be generated with a range of about 500 Watts . One of the schools in the area Cumpat Kenjeran Surabaya chosen as a partner because of the location of the school adjacent to the coast followed by the electrical energy needs for learning tools such as computers , tools and other lab work. To manufacture helical blade assisted by PT Mitra Mandiri Perkasa which help in the problem of providing tools .

Abstract

Bamboo is a material grating bird cage, bird cage measuring 50 cm² requires ± 300 bars. The high price of machine, operating costs and electricity rates make craftsmen using the manual method, so that the impact on economic income families. Observation, and Prototype Test is the method used to determine the actual condition, determine the slicing mechanism and reduce errors. Machine dimensions 400 mm 1500x500x1000 mm flywheel, 8 roll, 2 pieces knife capable of slicing 1 to 3 bars of bamboo bird cage in a single process can increase the capacity of the bird cage bars 3 times manually.

Abstract

The climate change causing rice production decreases, particularly on rice drying process before being milled rice. At the observation at UD Sumber Rejeki that the drying process of rice in the rainy season suffered a loss of 900,000/ton. To minimize the production process failed in drying rice process, made a rice dryer technology with automatic dialing systems, as well as controlling the temperature and moist content in the precision can be set as needed (Spin Dry-Pad). The Result when using Spin Dry Pad, UD Sumber Rejeki can increase domestic rice production during rainy season with operational cost only 191.500/ton and the quality of rice produced according to the standart PUSLITBANG agriculture department of Indonesia, which the moisture of rice is 14%.

Abstract

With the increasing production of crackers, entrepreneurs always face the problem of high operating costs rising rates electricity , so that employers re-use manual. Utilization toggle as the driving engine crackers chopper is a solution to reduce operational costs, increase capacity and quality of chopping. Observation, testing and prototyping is a method to determine the resolution of the problem, determine the number of blades and toggle the appropriate length and reduces the error rate. Machine dimensions 1010x410x850 mm using 80 pieces a knife with a long 965 mm 252 kg chopping crackers within 1 hour.
