Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the effect of Quality of Education and Risk Taking on Entrepreneur Intentions in the context of Parental Role. The respondents of this study amounted to 300 students of class XII in 3 Vocational High School of SMKN 1 Kudus, SMK Al Islam and SMK NU Banat. Hypothesis testing was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS ver.3 software. The results showed that with Parental Role moderation the total effect of Education Quality and Risk Taking  on Entrepreneur Intentions is smaller than the total effect before moderation, meaning that Parental Role variable does not strengthen the effect of Education Quality - Entrepreneur Intentions and Risk Taking - Entrepreneur Intentions.Keywords: Entrepreneur Intentions, Quality of Education, Risk Taking, Parental Role

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of word of mouth, price perception, brand image and trust on purchase intention and to analyze the effect of word of mouth, price perception, brand image, trust and purchase intention upon purchase decision of middle class housing in Semarang. The sample used in this study was 100 people. Techniques used in analyzing the data were descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) word of mouth has a significant effect on purchase intention of middle class housing in Semarang, 2) price perception has a significant effect on purchase intention of middle class housing in Semarang, 3) there is a significant effect of brand image upon purchase intention of middle class housing in Semarang, 4) there is a significant effect of trust on purchase intention of middle class housing in Semarang, 5) word of mouth has a significant effect upon purchase decision of middle class housing in Semarang, 6) priceperception gives a significant effect on purchase decision of middle class housing in Semarang, 7) there is a significant effect of brand image upon purchase decision of middle class housing in Semarang, 8) ) there is a significant effect of trust on purchase intention of middle class housing in Semarang, and 9) purchase intention can intervenethe effect of word of mouth, price perception, brand image, trust and buying interest upon purchase decision.Keywords: word of mouth, price perception, brand image, trust, purchase intention, purchase decision

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test a model in which social capital and information technology predict innovative behaviour  and human resource performance. A total of 105 respondents completed questionnaires on social capital, information technology, innovative behaviour, and human resource performance. Results from structural equation modeling based smartPLS 3.0 confirmed that 1) social capital was positively related to innovative behaviour and human resource performance; 2) innovative behaviour was positively related to human resource performance; and 3) information technology moderated the relationships between innovative behaviour and human resource performance.Keywords:  Social    capital,    Innovative. behaviour, Information technology, Human resource performance.

Abstract

The present study aimed to test a model in which service quality   and social media marketing predict brand trust and brand loyalty. A total of 100 respondents completed questionnaires on service quality, social media marketing, brand trust and brand loyalty. Results from structural equation modeling based smartPLS 3.0 confirmed that 1) service quality was positively related to brand trust and brand loyalty; 2) brand trust was positively related to brand loyalty; and 3) social media marketing moderated the relationships between service quality and brand trust as well as service quality and brand loyalty.Keywords: Service quality, Social media marketing, Brand trust,Brand loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of self efficacy and social competence on HR performance and in moderation of Islamic work ethic. The research problem is how to improve the performance of human resources through self efficacy and social competence with moderation of Islamic work ethic. The sampel of this research was the employees of the Department of Regional Finance of Semarang Regency consisting of 102 respondents. Regression analysis was done with Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS) software, and it was used also to analyze the data. The result of the analysis showed that self efficacy and social competence have a significant effect on HR performance with moderation of Islamic work ethic. These empirical findings indicate that self-efficacy has a significant effect on HR performance; Social competence has a significant effect on HR performance; social competence has significant effect on self efficacy; Islamic work ethic moderates the effect of competence on self efficacy; Islamic work ethic moderates the effect of self efficacy on HR performance; and Islamic work ethic moderates the effect of social competence on HR performance.Keywords: Self Efficacy, Social Competence, Islamic Work Ethics and HR Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the effects of Smart Work Pattern, Professional Competence Level and Work Experience on human resource performance in the context of Information Technology Usage Experience. The number of respondents in this study was 244 ASN    in 4 Government Agencies namely Inspectorate of Central Java Province, Semarang City, Kendal District and Demak District. Hypothesis testing used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS ver.3 software. The results showed that with moderation of IT usage experience resulted in total effects  of Professional Competence  and  Work  Experience  to  the improvement of    human resource performance through Smart Working Pattern was smaller thanthe total effects before moderation, it means that IT usage experience variable does not strengthen the effects of Professional Competence – Human Resource Performance; Work Experience - Human Resources and Smart Work Performance – Human Resource Performance.Keywords:  Human    Resource    Performance, Work Experience, Professional Competence, Smart Working Pattern, IT Usage Experience

Abstract

The primary purpose of this research is to investigate and examine the effect of Shared Value Quality and Communication Quality on Customer Loyalty through Trust, and to propose an empirical model to investigate such relationships. A total of 100 customers of Syari’ah BNI Bank of Semarang completed questionnaires on Shared Value Quality, Communication Quality, Trust, and Customer Loyalty. Results from SmartPLS 3.0 based on structural equation modeling confirmed that Shared Value Quality and Communication Quality were positively related to Trust and Customer Loyalty; furthermore Trust was related to Customer Loyalty.Keywords : Shared Value Quality, Communication Quality, Trust,Customer Loyalty

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect  of human  capital  on social capital, the effect of human capital on performance capital, the effect of organizational learning on social capital, the effect of organizational learning on performance, and the effect of social capital on performance. While the benefits of this research include theoretical benefit i.e. the development of human resource management theory, especially related to the assessment of problems affecting service professionalism, while the practical benefits are able to give results that can be used by leaders to design human capital, learning organization and social capital so that the organization’s goals can be achieved. The research was explanatory research, i.e. research that explains the effect of independent variables on dependent variable. The population in  this research was employee in the Regional Secretariat of Semarang Regency Government involving 170 people. The sample of research was determined using purposive sampling, i.e. employees who have working period> 2 years, so that it was obtained as many as 120 employees as samples. The data were collected by using questionnaires, while data analysis was conducted by using SEM analysis. The result of analysis showed that there is influence of human capital on social capital, influence of human capital on performance capital, influence of organizational learning on social capital, influence of organizational learning on performance, and influence of social capital on performance. Equation model also has fulfilled the criterion of goodness of fit. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that human capital has an effect on social capital, human capital has an effect on performance, organizational learning has an effect on social capital, organizational learning has an effect on performance and social capital has an effect on performance.Keywords : Human Capital, Organizational Learning, Social Capital, Performance

Abstract

This research is to learn some financial finance factor that  can be used as a short prediction tool of return of investment decision in the form of stock. The object of research used in this study is a company incorporated in the Jakarta Stock Exchange during research periode 2012-2016. The variables studied were Profitability and  Solvency. The analysis technique used in this research is linear regression. This research is done by quantitative method to the company’s financial statements listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange during period 2012-2016. Total sample of research is 35 company, which determined by purposive sampling method. Hypothesis testing method was conducted using t-test different test and linear regression. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence between Current Ration (CR), Cash Flow from Operation to Debt (CFOD), Firm Size, Return on Equity (ROE) to stock returns listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2012 -2016.Keywords: Current Ration (CR), Cash Flow from Operation to Debt (CFOD), Firm Size, Return on Equity (ROE)
