Abstract

This research aims to find the reason of non muslim customers chose murabahah as their funding at BNI Syariah and to find the benefit after they got those funding. This research was conducted at BNI Syariah Branch Office Rungkut Surabaya, involving of 6 non muslim customers as prime respondents and 3 employees of BNI Syariah as second respondent. Data were collected by interviewing the respondents and then the answers compared with the data from marketing or Account Officer as source triangulation. Purposive sampling technique was chosen because there were some criteria to be respondent in this research, that are: the customer should be non muslim and using murabahah. The result of this study showed that there were 3 reason of non muslim customers to choose murabahah as their choice, the first reason was the simplicity of scheme, second reason was the promotion, and the third reason was profit.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the implementation of the sale and purchase agreement online istishna applied by Mr. H. Fiter Kuntajaya there has been no good pleasure.The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive case study. The case study is a qualitative research trying to find meaning, to investigate the process and gain a deep insight and understanding of individual, group, or situation. Data collection was conducted by interviewing informants in this study is the owner of UD. KUNTAJAYA. In addition, interviews were also conducted with several other informants as a consumer as a process of triangulation.The result is the application of the sale and purchase agreement online istishna based in accordance with the rules of Islamic purchase made by H. Fiter Kuntajaya against consumers it did not affect the consumer to fully understand the applicable contract. However, the implementation of online trading Fiter H. Kuntajaya implement trading system in accordance with the rules of Islamic jurisprudence purchase turned out to fruition in the form of the pleasure of the consumers, so that consumers who had dealings with H. Fiter Kuntayaja feel comfortable, satisfied and loyalty arise in transaction.

Abstract

This research aims at determining the factor that influences on selecting the model of their headcovers, it is merely because the model of headcovers worn by the female students are now vary. Therefore, there should be some factors that urges a female student as a consumer to do a reasoned action on selecting the model of headcovers. This research is a quantitative research by using factor explanatory analysis. The characteristic of the population is the students of Islamic Economy, FEB, Airlanga University which are wearing headcovers. The result of this research shows that from 18 factors gained from the data collection which then processed by factor analysis. The researcher found that there are 5 factors, i.e. Want to Show Identitiy, consumers’ environment, consumers’ comfort in dressing up, consumers’ society, and consumers’ ease in dressing up.

Abstract

Sharia insurance in Indonesia has experienced a fairly rapid development since the promulgation of MUI fatwa number:21/DSN-MUI/X/2001 about sharia insurance. However, that is still questionable is does the sharia insurance company really run the product operational based on MUI fatwa.This study aims to determine whether product operational of sharia insurance of AJB Bumiputera1912 is in conformity with the sharia rules to follow six indicator akkad, premi, claims, investment, reinsurance, and management of the fund from MUI fatwa or not.The research method is used is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data used in this study is that the data derived from primary data obtained from fieldwork and secondary data derived from the literature and a wide range of written document. This study using data derived from the management of sharia insurance AJB Bumiputera 1912 in the branch of Surabaya and sharia insurance participants of AJB Bumiputera 1912.The results of this research is operational products of sharia insurance of AJB Bumiputera 1912 were in accordance with Indonesian Ulama Council fatwa DSN Number:21/DSNMUI/X/2001. The suitability reflected from the existence of akkad tabarru’ and akkad tijarah as investment funds (mudharabah), management of premium funds based on sharia, claims fund based on first contract, investment made in accordance with the mandate of participants, then reinsurance process done only to sharia-based reinsurance company.

Abstract

Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility in Islamic banking refers to a business that has a social responsibility in Islamic. Islamic values contained in CSR activity that is the values of justice, Rohmatan lilalamin value, and the value maslahah. That understanding will have implications for the implementation of syariah in the CSR value BNI Syariah Jakarta. The research method which is used for this case is qualitative descriptive approach. This Research is using semi-structured interviews and documentation. This Research was concern on the syariah value of CSR activities BNI Syariah Jakarta and find out for the solutiaon on how the implementation of sharia value on CSR activities BNI Syariah Jakarta. The results of this research was indicated that the PT. BNI Syariah Jakarta has implemented three grades sharia Islamic banking in performing activities of corporate social responsibility, which has implemented sharia values of justice, Rohmatan lialamin value, and the value maslahah with full responsibility and in accordance to sharia compliance or regulations.

Abstract

Cash dividends is one of the corporate action that contains information related to the companys performance and signal to investors about the companys prospects. This internal information of the company will affect the investment decisions of investors. The reaction of investors in the market will lead to changes in demand and supply of common stocks around the cum-dividend date. This study aims to determine the reaction of the Islamic capital market as indicated by the change in abnormal return around the cum-dividend date.This study uses event study approach, carried out on 30 issuers listed on the JII during 2012-2013 who pay cash dividends. The period of observation in this study was for 29 days, starting 14 days before the event date to 14 days after the event date. This study uses one-sample test in hypothesis testing.The results based on the statistical test showed significant variables caar AAR and on some days around cum dividedn date. These results indicate that there is a market reaction around cum dividend.
