Abstract

This research was aimed to investigate the effect of Islamic work ethics to the organizational commitment on Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah in Surabaya. This study used questionnaires in primary data collection and quantitative approaches. Experiments were done using simple linear regression, where the dependent variable (Y) is the organizational commitment and the independent variable (X) is Islamic work ethics. The research sample were taken by nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling method. The research sample was 58 employees work in Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah Surabaya.Based on the findings, it obtained simple linear regression equation : Y = 5,908+0,452X. The magnitude of the influence of Islamic work ethics to the organizational commitment on Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah Surabaya. According to the final summaries of description data analysis from Islamic work ethic variable, that is have a resolute stand and got no effect (X1.3) has the lowest mean value, Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah be expected to capable of keeping and increasing the human resources, in shaping employees resolute and not easily influenced, so as toimprove the islamic work ethic. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) toward investment in Islamic Certificate of Bank Indonesia (SBIS), effect of investment in Islamic Certificate of Bank Indonesia (SBIS) toward Return on Asset (ROA), and effect of Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) toward Return on Asset (ROA) Islamic Bank in Indonesia.Methodology that used in this study is a quantitative approach. Technique analysis that used in this study is path analysis. Samples are used in this study collected from Islamic Bank Statistic Data issued by Bank Indonesia, January 2009 until October 2013, the total amount were 58 data.The results show that Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) has significantly negative effect on Islamic Certificate of Bank Indonesia (SBIS). Islamic Certificate of Bank Indonesia (SBIS) has not significantly effect on Return on Asset (ROA). Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) has significantly positive effect on Return on Asset (ROA). Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence the decision of Students of Islamic Economics FEB UNAIR not selected as Syariah Bank’s Customer.This research used quantitative methods through exploratory factor analysis. Characteristic of the research population are students of Islamic Economics UNAIR who following the active class. The number of samples in pre eliminary test by conducting a written interview by 25 respondents, and main test required 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is probability sampling. Sampling was done using simple random sampling.Based on the results of the study indicate that there are four factors that affect the decision of Students of Islamic Economics FEB UNAIR. The four factors as a result of reduction of processing factor analysis. These four factors named by factor of the brand image, product knowledge, spurious loyalty, service experience.Advice for the Syariah Bank are improves service experience for every remittance transactions by ontime, Syariah Bank offers interesting sales promotion to get customers, more socialization about negative impact of riba, not burden charge for every transactions in ATM or online banking. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of murabaha financing to profit through non performing financing as an intervening variable of islamic banks in Indonesia. This study uses quantitive approach with path analysis and three kinds of variables, they are murabaha financing as exogenous variable, non performing financing as intervening endogenous variable and profit as endogenous variable. The banks are used in this study is the Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank Mega Syariah, Bank BRI Syariah, and Bank Syariah Bukopin. This study uses secondary data. Data collection is conducted by collecting semester financial statements for 2009-2013 period.The results obtained that, murabaha financing has positive effects to non performing financing. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on intention to re-use products other Bank Syariah Mandiri through the trust as an intervening variable.The method used is quantitative approach. Characteristics of the sample used is 30 customers of Bank Syariah Mandiri Boulevard branch in Surabaya who use a particular product. Sampling is using nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling procedure. The analytic technique is used path analysis or path analysis.The results showed that the quality of services significantly influence customer confidence in Bank Syariah Mandiri Boulevard in Surabaya. Other results show that trust significantly influence purchase intention by re-using the products of Bank Syariah Mandiri others. While service quality does not significantly influence customers' purchase intention by re-using the products of Bank Syariah Mandiri others.Advice for Bank Syariah Mandiri branch in Surabaya Boulevard to always improve the quality of service to customers through good SERVQUAL and maintain the trust that exists between the customer and the bank to always be honest and maintain the trust that has been given by the customer to the bank.
