Abstract

This article aims to know particular types of macro function and how its appear in the utterances on the drama. The writer uses purposive sampling technique to choose which sample were to be analyzed. The data were determined according to it needs and purpose of this research. The writer found some samples from this research. There are seventy samples which called hard sample. The result of this research is macro functions further divided into types but the writer only take five function namely: emotive (10), metalinguistic(13), directive (18), phatic (6), and referential (2).Keywords: Macro Function, Drama, and Discourse Analysis

Abstract

Dalam memaknai sebuah tanda dapat dipelajari dari warna-warna yang ada. Warna dapat menyampaikan pesan dan arti-arti khusus melalui setiap citranya. Setiap suku yang ada di Indonesia memiliki ciri-ciri tersendiri untuk merepresentasikan budayanya melalui makanan khas yang berbeda, pakaian adat yang berbeda, tata cara perayaan yang berbeda, dan kegunaan- kegunaan benda pusaka yang berbeda. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui makna warna Marawa dalam budaya Minangkabau dan Ukiran dalam budaya Toraja sebagai bagian dari kebudayaan Tradisional yang masih sangat berpengaruh sampai sekarang dalam kebudayaan masing-masing. Penelitian ini menganalisis makna warna dalam warna marawa dalam budaya Minangkabau dan ukiran dalam budaya Toraja dengan literatur semiotika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of student speaking in discussions in 11th grade students of SMA 2 Majene in the 2022 academic year. The research method applied is experimental research (quantitative method). The subjects of this study were the 11th grade students of SMKN 2 majene with a total of 40 people. The sampling technique employ the random sampling method. The instruments used in this study were tests and questionnaires. The type of test for speaking is an oral test, the researchesr give a picture in class and then students are asked to describe the picture. From the research data, it was found that the students' t-test scores (-4.171) from df (19). Based on the output it was obtained value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05, then it can be concluded there is a difference in students' outcomes between in pre-test and post-test. In conclusion, implementing group discussion learning to teach speaking is effective to improve vocational high school students’ speaking proficiency.Keywords: Speaking Proficiency, Group Discussion, Vocational High School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan deiksis yang terdapat dalam novel  Hujan Bulan Juni karya Sapardi Djoko Damono  dan mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis dan fungsi deiksis dalam novel Hujan Bulan Juni karya Sapardi Djoko Damono.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membaca secara intensif, mencatat semua kata atau kalimat yang mengandung deiksis novel Hujan Bulan Juni. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengindentifikasi, mengklasifikasi, dan menyimpulkan hasil analisis.Hasil penelitian ditemukan lima jenis deiksis dan terdiri atas 216 data. Deiksis persona 137 data, deiksis waktu 22 data, deiksis tempat 13 data, deiksis sosial 39 data, dan deiksis wacana 6 data.

Abstract

The Widi Islands, located in South Halmahera, are already famous for their white sand and several marine tourism attractions. Their location far from the hustle and bustle of the city is the reason for choosing Gane Luar Village as a Tourism Village. So it is necessary to conduct this research for the purpose of knowing the potential of the Widi Islands marine tourism village. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. In addition, there were several questions and conclusions from the answers, which the researchers submitted to several people in the Outer Gane Village as information and data materials to support this research. The results of this study are seen from the elements of tourism, namely 3A (Attractions, Accessibility, and Amenities). The first is for tourist attractions including the implementation of the Bonsole custom as a cultural attraction, fishing with fishermen from Gane Luar village, and the Kalasa mat craft. In addition, there are attractions for nature tourism, namely swimming, taking selfies, playing boats, snorkeling and diving. The second is for accessibility, namely using a ship to Bacan, using a car from Sofifi City, using a ship from Ternate to West Gane, using the Sea Toll Ship. Third, supporting amenity facilities are residents' houses as homestays, tourist huts, and health facilities: the Gane Luar Health Center.Keywords: Identification, Maritime Tourism Village, Widi Islands
