Abstract

ABSTRACT   This Study is aimed at finding out the learning achievement of students who were  taught by using picture media   and OHT media of learning Makanan Nusantara, a student with high creativity will achieve a higher learning  achievement compare to student with low creativity, Interaction between the use of media and creativity  influence the outcomes of learning makanan nusantara at Tata Boga Unimed. The population for this study were all the student’s on semester III of Tata Boga of Engineering Faculty of Medan State University, and 2 classes were taken as sample using purposive sampling. The quasi experiment method was used for this study by 2x2 factorial design, the data analysis was measured by two-way analize of Variance. To measure creativity level figural and verbal test is used, and two measure the achievement on Makanan Nusantara formative test using a multiple choice that consist of 55 items is used. The hypotheses result showed that the student learning outcomes  taught by picture media   is higher than a student who taught by OHT media on Makanan Nusantara,  student with high creativity will a chieve a higher learning outcomes compare to student with low creativity, There was interection between the use of media and the creativity in influencing the outcomes of learning makanan nusantara. Another finding shows that in the learning Makanan Nusantara the use of OHT learning media is   better for student whih high creativity and learning by picture  media   is better for student with low creativity. Kata Kunci : Media pembelajaran, kreatifitas, hasil belajar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to find out : 1) the learning achievement of innovative work of college students  taught by constructivism teaching strategy; 2) the increasing of learning achievement of innovative works; and 3) lecturer activities in the implementation of constructivism teaching strategy. This research was conducted at FT Unimed in study program of Make-Up on even semester in academic year of 2011/2012. The subject of this research is college students of Make up Education of FT Unimed that consist of 23 persons. In this research the data was collected through (1) observation sheet; (2) questionnaire; (3) observation and (4) field recording. This research is a classroom action research with 2 cycles in which each cycle consist of two sessions. Each cycle consist of planning, action, observation and reflection steps. The results of research indicates that : 1) the learning achievement of innovative work of college student on cycle 1 has an average = 65,00; 2) the learning achievement of college student in cycle 2 has an everage = 80,87; 3) there is increasing of learning activity of colege student and lecturer activity through the implementation of constructivism teaching strategy; 4) the increasing of learning interest of college student of 15 perssons ( 65,22%) is in  good category in cycle 1 to be 21 persons (95.65%), and 13 persons (56.52%) in high category and 9 persons (39.13%) in good category. Therefore it indicates that  Contructivism Teaching Strategy can increase the learning interest and learning achievement of innovative work. Kata Kunci : Minat belajar, hasil belajar, strategi konstruktivisme.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to assess the effect of multi-nutrient supplement efforts to provide pregnant women with fetal growth and birth growth also for the mental and motor development of infants. The research was conducted over three stages; the first year of this study has been tested to the mice. The research was carried out on pregnant women in the District Tobasa. Sample of 60 people and were treated for 9 months to pregnant women to bear children. Design research to be conducted is a prospective epidemiologic design (cohort studies) in the form of the intervention and comparison (control) were given control of the sample selected randomly, so called "A Community Randomized Trial". Framework instance is newly pregnant mother. Research findings on the socio-economic (age KK, aged mother, KK Education, Education Mother, Food Science, BMI) did not differ between groups P <0.05. Nutritional Biochemistry Fropil initial blood (HB, Ferrit, Zn, FT4, TSH, Folate, Vit. A) No difference between groups, P <0.05. Nutrient intake of biscuits for intervention / day (Energy, Fat, Protein, Carbohydrates, Fe, Zinc, Iodine, Folate, Vit A) is not different between treatment groups P <0.05 except Vit A. BB gain during pregnancy on the treatment intervention 1, 2, 3 (not different, P <0.05. Weight Infants Born on 1, 2, 3 treatment also did not differ (P <0.05. Length bodies (PB) and Head Circumference (LK), Bust (LD) was also not different, P <0.05). Multivariate Regression Analysis of the main factors that affect the accretion BB is that BB Pregnant women were early pregnancy. Primary factor affecting pregnant women BBL is that BB was added. Though generally biscuit Multi Nutrient supplementation had no significant effect pregnancy on the growth and development of infants, however, tend to relate positively and improve the nutritional status of the mother before the birth of biochemistry. Initial sample size was relatively small (20/group) and about 15% lost to follow-up. Ideally biscuit was given daily but this study was only able to provide 3 times a week. Abstract

ABSTRACT The Objective of this study is to find out instructional strategies used and  the achievement of study by Dessert processing of student.This study was conducted at SMK Negeri 8 School  Medan for even Semester of   2010/2011 academic year. The population of this research is all students of grade I group total 32 students and grade XI Boga 2 total 32 students. The instrument used for collecting the experiment Quasi method with a factorial research design of 2 x 2.    the data were analized with anova on significant rate of =0.05. the result of the analysis showed that the learning outcomes Dessert Processing learning outcomes taught by learning strategies ( F = 14,438 count > F table 4.08). The result of this study concludes that the strategy of industrial traning is higher that the resulth of learning taught by the inquiry learning strategy. Kata Kunci : Strategi pembelajaran, hasil belajar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the prevalence of intestinal worms and Ascaris lumbricoides infection rate in primary school children in Nelayan Indah Village Medan Labuhan Sub-District. Samples from this study were primary school children classes I up grade VI as many as 50 people. Quantitative fecal examination performed using Stoll dilution method. The results showed that the worm prevalensi Ascaris lumbricoides age group of 6-9 years was 100% and the age group 10-13 years was 96%. Ascaris lumbricoides worm infection rate in primary school children in Nelayan Indah Village Medan Labuhan District belong to the classification of sub-field loss clinics. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is aimed at determining the differences in student learning outcomes using example and non example learning model with conventional learning models in fashion drawing subjects in class XI course fashion.The samples were two randomly selected classes, each class consisting of 30 students. The first class in example non example the teaching and learning model and others in the class teaching using conventional learning models. Instrument of data collection is observation sheet. Data were analyzed using t-test analysis technique.Based on the calculations, the price of 0,98 t> t 2.00 at the 5% significance level, the hypothesis which states that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the results of learning to draw clothing using learning model example and non example with conventional learning model on students XI classes dressmaking courses is accepted. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the relationship of income with diet of  gardeners at State University of Medan. The population  of this  study were all gardeners Medan State University who were 30 and drawn samples with total sampling number of 30 people consisting of 17 men - men and 13 women with with age 55-61 years.Data of the research were collected by distributing questionnaires to the income variable (X) and variable diet gardener (Y) by way of "recal" 2 x 24 hour back by asking respondents  about the food consumed in a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) plus a snack. from the description of the data obtained trend level income variable (X) tends to the low and variable levels of dietary gardener (Y) of degree less food consumption category. results of the second test requirements analysis found normally distributed variables and the regression equation Y = 22.142 + 96.116 X is a linear  indicating a positive relationship between income and linear with diet gardeners Medan. data analysis techniques used is the statistical analysis of the product moment correlation Karl Pearson.result of  correlation analysis showed a relationship with a earnings diet gardener  in Medan State university, with a correlation coefficient r xy of 0.576 at significant level of 5% (count r> r table: 0.576> 0.36) the hypothesis is accepted that means that the lower the income  the lower the diet is. Kata Kunci : Pendapatan, pola makan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the color quality from the results of mangosteen dyeing extracts rind on silk yarn based on the time of immersion and the amount of lime tahor (CaCO3). A method used is an experimental method that uses 5 x 2 factorial designs with 10 combinations was performed using the formula one-way ANOVA. Based on the calculation of analysiss, groups using lime mordant 16 g / liter had a higher mean than the group means using lime mordant 8 g / liter. For the average lowest value found in the group with soaking for 1 hour by using lime mordant 8 g / liter. As for the average of the highest values ​​found in the group with soaking for 18 hours by using a mordant lime 16 g / liter. As for the hypothesis test concluded that there was no significant difference in the color quality of the dyeing mangosteen peel extract as a natural dye using silk thread is based on the time of immersion and the amount of mordant lime (CaCO3) which is diffirent. All in all, the longer the soaking time concentration rind mangosteen will produce color and sparkling despite getting older did not differ significantly and the use of lime tahor amount that will more evenly produce more color and more concentrated. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is aimed at finding out the effect of concentration of yeast and fermentation time on the results of coconut oil. The study design was a complete random design (CRD) with factorial with two factors: the yeast concentration consists of five levels and fermentation time factor of five levels. The study was conducted with two repetitions. The results showed that coconut oil has the highest results obtained from the treatment concentration of 15 grams of yeast and fermentation time 24 -hour treatment is respectively 29.34% and 29.38%. Highest oil yields were also obtained from the interaction treatment concentration of 15 grams of yeast and fermentation time 24 hours is 35.44%. Kata Kunci : Minyak kelapa, fermentasi, ragi tape.
