Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi penyelenggaraan program penitipan yang difokuskan pada standar sarana dan prasarana PAUD di TPA Bright Minds Kota Salatiga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program penitipan di TPA Bright Minds belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan standar yang ditentukan. TPA Bright Minds berada di dalam area kampus STT JKI Salatiga, dekat dengan akses layanan kesehatan yaitu Rumah Sakit dan memiliki luas bangunan serta halaman yang sesuai dengan jumlah anak yang berada disana. TPA ini memiliki banyak ventilasi yang memungkinkan adanya sirkulasi udara dan sinar matahari masuk ruangan. TPA ini terbagi menjadi beberapa wilayah/area yaitu wilayah tidur, makan, bersih diri, bermain di dalam dan di luar. Wilayah tidur yang cukup luas dan terbagi menjadi 3 ruang mampu menampung jumlah anak, tetapi 1 ruang yang belum memperhatikan faktor keselamatan anak karena berdekatan dengan dapur dan tidak ada penyekat/pembatas ruangan. TPA ini tidak memiliki wilayah makan khusus, tetapi tergabung denganruang tidur terbuka dan ruang bermain bebas. TPA ini memiliki 1 kamar mandi basah sebagai wilayah bersih diri yang penggunaannya perlu mendapat pengawasan dari para pengasuh. Wilayah bermain di dalam cukup luas dan sangat mengakomodasi anak untuk bermain bebas dan bahkan berlarian di dalam rumah, namun ada ruang bermain bebas yang perlu pengawasan karena berdekatan dengan dapur. Alat permainan di dalam ruang cukup beragam namun penggunaannya belum sesuai dengan tingkat usia dan ada beberapa APE yang perlu diperbaiki atau diganti. Wilayah bermain di luar pun cukup luas dan nyaman untuk anak karena beralaskan tanah yang ditumbuhi rumput gajah mini dan banyak pohon rindang. Kata kunci: Standar Nasional PAUD, Standar Sarana dan Prasarana, Taman Penitipan Anak (TPA), implementasi program   ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out the implementation of the childcare program that is focused on the standards of facilities and infrastructure in the Bright Minds, Salatiga. This research is descriptive qualitative research by using research instrument in the form of interview, observation, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of the childcare program in the Bright Minds is not fully in accordance with the specified standards. Bright Minds is located within the STT JKI – Salatiga campus area and close to the Hospital. The building area and yard are appropriate with number of children who cared there. This building has a lot of ventilation that allows the air circulation and sunlight into the room. This childcareis divided into several areas, which are sleeping, eating, cleaning, playing inside and outside areas. The sleeping areasare large enough and divided into 3 spaces wich can accommodate the number of children, however, there is a room that has not paid attention to child safety factor because it is adjacent to the kitchen and there is no seal / barrier. The building does not have a special dining area, however, the dining area is incorporated with sleeping area and free play space. This building has a wet bathroom as a cleaningarea but the children whose use needs to be supervised by caregivers. The playing insidearea is spacious enough and very accommodating for children to play freely and even run around inside the house, however there is a free playroom which needs supervision as it is too near to the kitchen. The toys which usually use by the children are quite diverse but some of them are not appropriate for the age level and there are some toys that need to be repaired or replaced. The outdoor play area is also quite spacious and comfortable for children because the ground is covered with grasses and lots of shady trees. Keywords: National Standards of Early Childhood Education, Standard of Facilities and Infrastructure, Childcare, Program Implementation
