Abstract

Each tutoring institute have different characteristics with their learnings. In subjects belonging to the non exact sciences, like sociology takes appropriate learning strategies to facilitate students in understanding the material. Tutoring institute has specific strategies that are foundational in every learning. This article explains that sociology learning at the Tutoring Institute of Neutron Yogyakarta, Banyumanik Semarang Branch can be seen from the learning components. Several components contribute to improving learning outcomes in schools. This article also shows that the role of the sociology learning in improving learning outcomes of sociology in school, among others 1) to deepen understanding of the material, 2) makes it easy to answer questions, 3) to overcome difficulties, 4) makes it easy to find examples, and 5) motivating students.

Abstract

National education aims to score a winning nation generation, both in science and technology capability and superior in terms of his noble character. Character-based education should be developed in the world of education in Indonesia in an effort to achieve national education goals. Implemented character education is very important to build quality human resources. The study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Research sites in SMA Negeri 1 Batang. Subjects in this study were principals, deputy principals and the public relations field facilities, three teachers, the head of the TU. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The validity of the data used is the technique of data triangulation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results show that character education in SMA 1 Batang emphasizes the value of religious, honest, caring environment, nationalism, orderly, disciplined, but the main value of instilling order and discipline. Character education is not a separate subject but put all these subjects, forms of integration of character education can be seen from the syllabus and lesson plans developed by teachers in SMA 1 Batang. Obstacles in the implementation of character education is a different thinking, a wrong assumption on the advice of teachers, the difficulties in the preparation of syllabi and lesson plans, lack of student discipline.

Abstract

Modern Boarding Assalamah a modern boarding school students came from among the medium and above. The number of students in 2329 as a modern boarding school, which consists of 1,111 students sons anddaughters 1218 students. Some students are still not well behaved and still lack the awareness to health. Of unhealthy behaviors students, appear various types of diseases. The students live in dormitories provided by theboarding school, but it has exceeded the capacity of the resulting occupancy susceptible to the onset of an illness raises an issue that this study attempted to analyze the problems discussed san.

Abstract

Pekalongan famous for making batik Pekalongan dubbed as the city government tried to maintain the culture through education to students from an early age, through local content in schools. SMP N 2 local curriculum include batik in schools, the problem of this research is: How does the participation of female students of class VII B in following lessons batik skills and What are the factors driving and inhibiting factors VII B grade female students attend classes in batik skills. The research method used was a qualitative research method. Locations penelitianberada in SMP N 2. Subjects in this study were female students of class VII B. Informants pengampu supporting teacher research and curriculum wakasek SMP N 2 kota.Teknik data collection used was non-participatory observation, interviews and dokumentasi.Validitas data used is the technique of triangulation data. Data analysis techniques include four things: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The results charge local batik in SMP N 2 still needs more participation from the students. Infrastructure Saranadan batik complete a driving factor of the participation of female students and the long process of making batik a factor of female students in learning local content batik.

Abstract

The background of students SMA 3 Demak a smoker? 2) How does the socialization process SMA 3 Demak students can become a smoker? 3) What is the response from the school and outside the school to see the phenomenon of students smoke?The study used a qualitative approach. Subjects consisted of five high school students Demak State 3, and three informants of the study. In collecting data, researchers used a technique of observation, focus group discussions, interviews, and documentation. And to check the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the background is the curiosity of students smoking, stress, weather, shame, wants to build a certain image, berekonomi capable. In conjunction with the socialization process of students becoming a smoker is not comfortable when you first smoked, ridiculed by others, were treated to smoking by others, the imitation of the behavior of others, feel comfortable to smoke

Abstract

Role of traditional birth attendants are still very great influence in society. Similarly, the village of Bolo is still using the services of traditional birth attendants in maternal and child health care. Interestingly, although traditional birth attendants in the village of Bolo as a second reference chosen by the public, but public confidence in health care that will be done by traditional birth attendants are still strong. This study aims to determine what role that is run by midwives and traditional birth attendants cause still has an important role in the village of Bolo. This study uses qualitative methods, with in-depth interview technique, participant observation and documentation. Research subjects are traditional birth attendants, while the informants in this study were pregnant women, mothers with infants and toddlers, the father of the babies and toddlers, community leaders, and local health officials. These results indicate that in general the role of midwife in the village of Bolo is divided into three periods role, namely a role in the pregnancy, labor and management role in postpartum care. Of the three traditional midwives in the village of Bolo is found that there is specialization and division of labor is not in writing, in which each midwife handles different issues. Can also be shown that in general the role of traditional birth attendants can be classified into two categories of functions, namely the function of maternal and child health care, outwardly and non-medical functions, namely as a mediator of patients with the supernatural world. Factors that cause birth attendants still play a role in society Bolo is due to economic factors, customs, traditions, understand Javanese science, psychological, suggestions community, stability factor of self, confidence and inexperience midwife.

Abstract

Community lover of Japanese cultureis one of the teenagers gathering place with adistinctive and unique appearance that is different from other communities. With the appearance of its members a unique, asymmetrical haircuts and clothest end to bebrightly colored with trinkets attached here and there,making them very easy to recognize.Japan Independent Community (Jaico) is one of the community who are lovers of Japanese culture at Semarang State University (UNNES). Jaico member UNNES students and outsiders who have the same interests and hobbies that Japanese culture. The existence of such communities JaicoUNNES able to attract students to join in it. Especially for those who basically do like the Japanese culture. With qualitative research methods. And located in UNNES, the author would like to know the background of students attend Japanese pop culture lifestyle, their motivation to join the community of lovers of Japanese culture, and community lifestyle lovers of Japanese culture itself .Most of them follow the Japanese pop culture because it is unique and interesting. The presence of media and peer influence in motivating students of the community to join. They follow the lifestyle of Japanese pop culture that are considered interesting and different look of the hairstyles and clothing styles are in the adoption of Japanese artists.
