Abstract

The Act No. 20, 2003 of National Education System explains that Madrasah Aliyah as an Islamic educational institution has been equated with other public schools. This equivalence does not change automatically the public of Gorontalo perception toward Madrasah Aliyah as a second choice. Such perception affects the community interest to send their children to Madrasah Aliyah. However, Madrasah Aliyah in Gorontalo still has great prospect in the future. So some very urgent improvement and imaging is performed by Madrasah Aliyah. This improvement is very important because most people see Madrasah Aliyah as second-class school and its graduates do not have brilliant future. In fact, Madrasah Aliyah can create human resources who have intact insight, are divinity insight, social insight and scientific insight.

Abstract

The main meaning of decision-making by the headmaster is an act issuing a decision that is both tactical and operational such as planning programs to be achieved, implementation strategies and problem-solving strategies, thro-ugh a decision based on the election results of several solution alternatives decided to achieve madrasah goals. The decision-making activities include problem identification, problem formulation, and alternative selection deci-sions based on calculations and the various impacts that may arise. In the stage of decision making implementation, the headmaster of the madrasah as a leader must make many routine decisions in order to control activities in accordance with the plans. While in control stage that includes monitoring, inspection, and assessment of the implementation results was performed to evaluate the implementation of the decisions.

Abstract

This paper attempts to analyze the influence of supervision of Islamic Edu-cation (PAI), compensation, competence, and motivation to work on PAI teacher performance. The result of multiple linear regression analysis con-cluded that all four aspects are jointly significant affect the performance of teachers PAI. Partial regression test results explained that the supervision and competence of significant influence while compensation and motivation influenced but not significant. Based on the model test found that supervision direct impact on performance. Supervision has a direct influence scores greater than the indirect effect. Compensation does not affect the performance directly but through the direct influence of motivation because scores compensation is smaller than the indirect effect. Competence directly influen-ce performance significantly due to the direct influence of competence scores greater than the indirect effect scores.

Abstract

Internalization of values-based character education on student himself can be done through an objective and transparent assessment system. This will be useful to foster honesty, discipline, and responsibility of students. Objective assessment was actually born of conscience. The real truth in it as something that is produced by conscience is something that is pure and candid. Transparent assessment of the implementation of the assessment should be known, from the aspect of the values obtained, the basic decision-making, processing until the final result indicated value, and acceptable. With such a rating system that would give birth to a student who has a character to help form a strong mental. Strong mental is precondition to be qualified competitive human.

Abstract

Growth and development in the Coastal Java madrasah in the early twentieth cen-tury until now generally spearheaded by scholars/religious leaders who graduated in Islamic centers in the Middle East. At first they established the boarding school, followed by the establishment of madrasah to the coast of Java can be regarded as children of a boarding school. The educational institutions have bonding formation of madrasah was first built by Niz{am al-Mulk in Baghdad in 1057, later known as madrasah Niz{amiyah. This school is an educational institution that aims to teach Fiqh Sunni schools. Institutions of higher education has become one of the eleventh century and became the blueprint for the development of similar madrasah in the Islamic world. Historically, madrasah in Java can not be separated from the Middle East, especially the relationship Haramayn scholars of al-Azhar and Cairo with the students in Java, Indonesia.

Abstract

Faith material is the basic and essential part of the learning goals in the con-text of strengthening the students personalities, especially in teaching reli-gious education. As the purpose of learning, faith must also be evaluated and measured so that it is known to what extent the learning objectives have been achieved. The problem is how to evaluate and measure ones faith? Only Allah can measure and determine the degree of ones faith, don’t you? How to measure the faith will be discussed in this paper. This study would be useful for teachers in detecting an increase or decrease of the quality of students faith in accordance with the indicators that have been determined.

Abstract

This article presents the description of a pleasant environment according to the Montessori method. fun environment characteristics and implications for the sustainability of early childhood education in Indonesia is also a discus-sion section. Montessori considers the environment as a key children spon-taneous learning. Because the child is an active agent in its environment, Montessori suggested that the environment here should be fun for children and also provide opportunities for the development of the potential of each individual. In addition there is ease of access, with full responsibility, and freedom of movement, in the early child hood environment should be designed in such a way to make it look real, natural, and beautiful.

Abstract

Vocational education as a part of the National Education system plays a strategic role for the realization of the skilled national labor. Because each vocational graduates is created to become good human resources, in the sense that when they have completed vocational school they able to apply the knowledge. But in fact, the graduates of vocational school is recognized only by itself school and still lack confidence in the business and industrial world. The old model of vocational education has disadvantage, is education model that was conducted unilaterally so that students left behind by the progress of the business/industrial world. Creating creativity and independence of the student is the right answer to avoid dependency and to reduce the unemployment rate. The Awareness of self-development by enhancing the students confidence and self-reliance is an important part to prepare for the long-term goal achievement.

Abstract

Physical development is not necessarily equivalent to spiritual development. Normally, a person who has reached maturity level will have spiritual maturity pattern such as thought maturity, personal maturity, and emotional maturity. Yet, the balance between physical maturity and spiritual maturity sometimes does not run in parallel. One may have grown physically but not spiritually. Re-ligious values need to be established in children since early ages. The religious values mean any deeds relating humans and God or among human beings rela-tionship. Physical development is measured based on chronological age, peak of human physical development which is called maturity. On the other hand, spir-itual development is measured based on level of ability and certain ability level achieved by spiritual development which is called maturity.

Abstract

The background of this research is the idea that a speech and language disorder is the causes of developmental disorders that are commonly found in children. Such disorder increases rapidly. Some reports put a number of speech and lan-guage disorder in the ranges from 5-10% in school children. This makes the speech delay as the most common disorder in childhood, so that quick treatment and appropriate therapy are highly needed for children with speech delay. The therapies made are speech therapy and sensory integration. The implementation of speech therapy and sensory integration should be given to children as early as possible. Speech therapy and sensory integration in children with speech delay have important role in determining the childs language development and motor skills. Inclusive education is education that puts all learners with special needs in the regular school day. In this kind of education, teachers have full responsi-bility for learners with special needs.
