Abstract

Grouping can use clustering to group data based on the similarity between the data, so that the data with the closest resemblance is in one cluster while the different data is in another group. The X-Means algorithm is the development of K-Means. The weakness of X-Means is that in determining the distance matrix, the distance matrix is ​​an important factor that depends on the X-Means algorithm data set. The resulting distance matrix value will affect the performance of the algorithm. The results of the study are: testing with variations in the number of centroids (K) with values ​​of 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. The author concludes that the number of centroids 3 and 4 has a better iteration value compared to the number of centroids that are getting higher and lower based on the iris dataset with the jarax matrix Manhattan Distance. From the test results with the X-Means cluster point, calculate the Euclidean Distance distance with 100 iris data reaching the 9th iteration, while with 100 iris data by calculating the Manhattan Distance distance it reaches the 10th iteration. Meanwhile, in determining the cluster point using the X-Means method from 100 data iris reaches its 7th iteration.

Abstract

Android is an operating system for mobile phones based on Linux. Android provides an open platform for developers through a wide range of mobile devices to create an application for use. Android is a computer code that open (open source) can be distributed so that developers new applications can make it. In this paper, the authors take advantage of Android for the design of an application that is used in the process Ability test STMIK Kristen Neumann Indonesia. With this application Ability Test students may have the ability and the speed of thought testing. Students acquire knowledge and the ability to manage the logic, concentration, memory and the ability in arithmetic. Application Ability Test is knowing also beneficial for Admin and lecturer, on what skills in new students to undergo the process of teaching in Christian Neumann STMIK Indonesia. This application is also very easy to use by all circles.

Abstract

At present, the data stored in the computer is no longer safe, therefore data must be secured. To ensure the security and integrity of a data, an encoding process is needed. Encryption is done when data will be sent. This process will convert an original data into confidential data that cannot be read. Meanwhile, the decryption process is carried out to return data that has been encoded into the original data, the original data will not be read by unauthorized parties. The AES method is used as the latest standard cryptographic algorithm. the previous algorithm is considered incapable of securing data, because the key length is small. The AES method is a cryptographic algorithm using the Rijndael algorithm that can encrypt and decrypt 256 bits of data blocks.

Abstract

From the results of the study it can be concluded, among others: The decision support system that was built was very helpful to speed up data processing in decision making for the provision of work benefits and punishments to employees. The SMART method is a suitable method to be applied in decision making by sharing alternatives, especially determining the provision of work benefits and punishments to employees quickly and precisely. Abstract

In this study, we reviewed the literature on information retrieval starting from the basics of Information Retrieval (IR), components and future challenges. The purpose of this study is to observe techniques that have been used by previous researchers in IR, especially query processing and ranking of search results. We used a literature review method by identifying, reviewing, and observing techniques in IR based on the results of several previous studies. We collected more literature sources from the ACM Digital Library, Researchgate and MDPI. From this research, we found several IR models for searching relevant documents (information) and ranking accurate results, including EXplanaTion RAnking (EXTRA), Deep-QPP, ColBERT-PRF and UQSCM-RFD.
