Abstract

This paper is a result of  primary research titled “Mapping  the Profile of Persuasive Da’wah Agenda in Cimahi City.” Cimahi is well known as the industrial centre of ‘creative animation’. The method of research is quantitative by conducting surveys through questionnaires to 399 respondents in   Cimahi using multistage random sampling technique. This paper presents important data on the socio-demographic factors of the citizens which can be basic in planning the effective da’wah activities. The sociodemographic factor aforementioned are age, education, and gender of respondents. Those factors must be accurately identified in order to plan the persuasive da’wah. The views of the citizens toward da’wah activity can be parameters toward persuasive da’wah, including what religious theme they preferred to, their preference on the actual da’wah themes, their liking on entrepreneurial da’wah, etc. Citizens give responses to da’wah agenda of both bil-lisan (da’wah through speech) and bil-hal (da’wah through one’s character).  The more accepted a da’wah, it means the more persuasive the da’wah is. When citizens do not like the da’wah, it can be said an unpersuasive one.  Da’wah persuasion is closely related to its acceptability by the citizens.

Abstract

This paper is the result of research on 'Mapping  the  Profile  of Persuasive Da’wah Agenda in Cimahi City'. Cimahi is the smallest city in Indonesia with 3 sub-districts, known as a center for "creative animation." Cimahi residents have various livelihoods, such as laborers, traders, military and civil servants. Good da'wah is delivered based on reliable information, but until now no data has been obtained about the profile of persuasive da'wah in Cimahi City. This research is a survey conducted on 399 respondents with a multistage random sampling technique. The results of the research are as follows: 1) Da'wah actors need to consider the socio-demographic conditions of Cimahi City residents in designing their activities to achieve da'wah objectives optimally; 2) The average residents of Cimahi City has the habit of participating in intense religious activities, especially the Qur’an recitation; 3) Residents of Cimahi City respond positively to da'wah figures, da'wah themes, and da’wah  media; and 4) Residents of Cimahi city have their expectation for da'wah beyond bil-lisan or oral speech, especially recitation, which is seen as being able to increase religious knowledge, religious appreciation and encourage congregational religious practice. They hope da’wah activities can expand to bil-hal (action) on matters such as health, entrepreneurship and community empowerment. Da'wah is persuasive if people like, accept and practice its message. The more preferred/accepted a da'wah, the more persuasive it is.

Abstract

Abstract. In today's digital era, visual communication design plays an important role in human life, especially in the field of digital da'wah conveyed through Instagram social media. Based on data released by Napoleon Cat, in the January-May 2020 period, Instagram social media users in Indonesia reached 69.2 million active users. One of the accounts on Instagram social media is called Bantu Dakwah which is an account containing dakwah content / activities using the concept of visual communication design. The forms of visual messages in this account also have the power of persuasion which can influence the religious behavior of their followers. The form of the visual message will be a determining factor in the success of persuasion efforts. This study aims to measure the magnitude of the influence of visual communication design on followers' religious behavior. The research method used is quantitative methods and the type of statistical method used is parametric statistics with a Likert scale. The findings in this study are the value of the influence of the independent variable (X) on the dependent variable (Y) of 32.7% which is generated through the coefficient of determination test. The form of one-sided-two-sided visual messages can affect the perceptual aspect, the form of emotional visual messages can affect the feeling aspect and the rational visual message form can affect the thoughts of followers of Bantu Da'wah based on the mean value of each visual message form questionnaire. Keywords: Visual Communication Design, Message Form, Religious Behavior. Abstrak. Pada era digital sekarang ini, desain komunikasi visual memegang peranan penting dalam kehidupan manusia, khususnya dalam bidang dakwah digital yang disampaikan melalui media sosial Instagram. Berdasarkan data yang dirilis Napoleon Cat, pada periode Januari-Mei 2020, pengguna media sosial Instagram di Indonesia mencapai angka 69,2 juta pengguna aktif. Salah satu akun di media sosial Instagram bernama Bantu Dakwah yang merupakan akun berisi konten/kegiatan dakwah dengan menggunakan konsep desain komunikasi visual. Bentuk-bentuk pesan visual dalam akun tersebut pun memiliki daya persuasi yang bisa mempengaruhi perilaku beragama pengikutnya. Bentuk pesan visual akan menjadi faktor penentu dalam keberhasilan upaya persuasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur besaran pengaruh desain komunikasi visual terhadap perilaku beragama pengikutnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dan jenis metode statistik yang digunakan adalah statistik parametrik dengan skala likert. Temuan dalam penelitian ini berupa nilai besaran pengaruh variabel independen (X) terhadap variabel dependen (Y) sebesar 32,7% yang dihasilkan melalui uji koefesiensi determinasi. Bentuk pesan visual satu sisi-dua sisi dapat mempengaruhi aspek persepsi, bentuk pesan visual emosional dapat mempengaruhi aspek perasaan serta bentuk pesan visual rasional dapat mempengaruhi aspek pikiran pengikut Bantu Dakwah berdasarkan hasil nilai mean dari masing-masing kuisioner bentuk pesan visual. Kata Kunci: Desain Komunikasi Visual, Bentuk Pesan, Perilaku Beragama.

Abstract

Abstract. Da’I activities in this digital era are increasingly being carried out by da’i through varios sosial that can reach the wider community. The development of technology is currently growing rapidly, one of the media that can be used to convey da’wah is Instagram. Qomikin account is one of the accounts that is engaged in da’wah by posting da’wah through background images every day to convey and disseminate information through social media. Thus is an opportunity for da’wah in conveying the techings of islam. This study aims to analyze the content of da’wah messages contained in the content of the qomikin account. This study uses a type of content analysis research ( Content Analysis ). The analysis processs in this study uses da’wah messages of aqidah. Sharia, morals. Abstrak. Aktifitas dakwah di era digital semakin gencar dilakukan oleh para da’i melalui berbagai media sosial yang dapat menjangkau maysrakat luas. Perkembangan teknologi saat ini semakin pesat, salah satu media yang dapat dimantaatkan untuk menyampaikan dakwah yaotu Instgaram. Akun qomikin merupakan salah satu aku yang bergerak dalam bidang dakwah dengan melakukan postingan dakwah melalui gambar berlatar setiap harinya untuk menyampaikan serta menyebarkan informasi melalui media sosial Instagram. Hal tersebut menjadi peluang dakwah dalam menyampaikan jaran agama islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis isi pesan dakwah yang terkandung pada konten akun qomikin. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian analisis isi (Content Analysisi). Proses analysis pada penelitian ini menggunakan pesan dakwah dari pesan aqidah, syari’ah, dan akhlak mengandung ajaran untuk berbuat kebaikan serta senantiasa memperingati masalah pada dunia dan akhirat.

Abstract

Abstract .The Taklim Council has an important role in improving the quality of human resources. Because through the delivery of Islamic messages which are the main activities, recitations in the Taklim assembly can function as a mediator as well as a forum for the formation of humans who have good Islamic spirit and morality. Like the Safinatunnajah Taklim Council which has routine religious activities every week, it has 3 schedules of da'wah material, namely interpretation, fiqh, and monotheism. The majority of the members of the Safinatunnajah Taklim Council work as fishermen. Researchers conducted research that aimed to determine the da'wah method used by the preacher so as to make the congregation understand all the da'wah material. The method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive statistical approach. The theory used is learning theory (Learning Theory). Data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, documentation. The results obtained: the majority of the work of the Safinatunnajah Taklim congregation who filled out the research questionnaire were fishermen with 17 people or 38.6%, while the lowest was retirees with 1 person or 2.3%. as many as 32 respondents or 72.7% of respondents stated strongly agree and as many as 12 respondents or 27.3% of respondents agreed with the da'wah material that was easy to understand. The correlation coefficient value is 0.870 or 87%, which means that the level of relationship between the da'wah method (X) and the understanding of the Safinatunnajah Taklim congregation's understanding of the da'wah material (Y) is strong. And the correlation coefficient number is positive which indicates that the higher the influence of the da'wah method, the higher the level of understanding of the members of the Safinatunnajah Taklim congregation towards da'wah material, and vice versa. Abstrak. Majelis Taklim memiliki peran penting dalam peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Sebab melalui penyampaian pesan-pesan keislaman yang menjadi pokok kegiatannya, pengajian di Majelis Taklim dapat berfungsi sebagai mediator juga sebagai wadah pembentukan manusia yang memiliki semangat, dan moralitas Islam yang baik. Seperti Majelis Taklim Safinatunnajah yang memiliki kegiatan keagamaan rutin tiap minggunya, mempunyai 3 jadwal materi dakwah yaitu tafsir, fiqh, tauhid. Mayoritas jemaah Majelis Taklim Safinatunnajah ini berprofesi sebagai nelayan. Peneliti melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode dakwah yang digunakan oleh dai sehingga membuat para jemaah memahami seluruh materi dakwah. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan statistik deskpriptif. Teori yang digunakan yaitu teori belajar (Learning Theory). Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, angket, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan: mayoritas pekerjaan jemaah Majelis Taklim Safinatunnajah yang mengisi kuesioner penelitian adalah nelayan dengan jumlah 17 orang atau 38,6%, sedangkan yang terendah adalah pensiunan dengan jumlah 1 orang atau 2,3%. sebanyak 32 responden atau 72.7% responden menyatakan sangat setuju dan sebanyak 12 responden atau 27.3% responden menyatakan setuju dengan materi dakwah yang mudah dipahami. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.870 atau 87% yang berarti bahwa tingkat hubungan antara metode dakwah (X) dengan pemahaman jemaah Majelis Taklim Safinatunnajah terhadap materi dakwah (Y) adalah kuat. Serta angka koefisien korelasi bernilai positif yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi pengaruh metode dakwah maka semakin tinggi juga tingkat pemahaman jemaah Majelis Taklim Safinatunnajah terhadap materi dakwah, begitupun sebaliknya.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to find out what narrative is brought by Riko The Series' Youtube account based on the perspective of Da'wah Communication. As a result of current technological advances, everyone can access anything with just a smartphone, especially access to entertainment such as social media. Youtube is an audio-visual-based social media that almost all shows can be accessed so that it makes parents who have children worried about it. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with Ferdinand De Saussure's Semiotics analysis which divides the sign which consists of two parts, namely the physical part called the signifier and the conceptual part called the signified. The results of this study indicate that the animation Riko The Series Season 2 has a positive message from several episodes by containing markers in the form of akidah, morals, and sharia values, including: The value of akidah which discusses beliefs including the existence of jinn which are creatures created by Allah SWT; Moral values ​​are the attitude of always being enthusiastic in facing challenges and never giving up; And the value of sharia is to carry out the obligation of circumcision for Muslim men. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui narasi apa yang dibawakan oleh akun Youtube Riko The Series berdasarkan perspektif Komunikasi Dakwah. Akibat kemajuan teknologi saat ini memungkinkan setiap orang dapat mengaksas apapun hanya dengan smartphone terutama akses hiburan seperti sosial media. Youtube merupakan sosial media berbasis audio visual yang hampir semua tayangan dapat di akses sehingga membuat orang tua yang memiliki anak cemas akan hal itu. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis Semiotika Ferdinand De Saussure yang membagi tanda yang terdiri dari dua bagian yakni bagian fisik yang disebut signifier dan bagian konseptual yang disebut signified. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa animasi Riko The Series Season 2 memiliki pesan positif dari beberapa episode dengan memuat penanda-petanda berupa nilai akidah, akhlak, dan syariah, diantaranya: Nilai akidah yakni membahas tentang keyakinan meliputi keberadaan jin yang merupakan mahluk ciptaan Allah SWT; Nilai akhlak yaitu sikap selalu semangat menghadapi tantangan dan pantang menyerah; Dan nilai syariah yakni menjalankan kewajiban sunat bagi laki-laki muslim.

Abstract

Abstract. Communication is an interaction involving information exchange, however, it is different for them who are having limitation in their hearing system, causing it to be obstructed. Furthermore, the limitation causes the difficulties to appear in processing verbal communication and perceiving conceptual language conveyed by others. Nevertheless, it does not diminish the obligation to learn Islam. The researcher conducted this study to aim: finding out nonverbal communication, obstacles, and SLBN Cicendo Kota Bandung's strategy in teaching. Qualitative methodology with descriptive approach is used in this research. The researcher also used observation, interview, and taking photos in gathering the data. The result of research reveals that nonverbal communication used by SLBN Cicendo Kota Bandung is involving body language, distance, intonation, touch, and clothes as artifactual. Nonverbal communication has obstacles as well for deaf students in implementing Islam values such as the students have not known arabic alphabets, lack of Islam religion teacher, environmental factor, and books for lessons. To solve these problems, there are strategies which can be used: producing prayer mats with recitation of prayers, giving reward, and school programs. Abstrak. Komunikasi adalah interaksi yang dalam pelaksanaanya terjadi proses pertukaran informasi. Namun berbeda dengan mereka yang memiliki keterbatasan pendengaran sehingga komunikasi yang dilakukan terhambat. Hal tersebut menyebabkan sulitnya proses komunikasi secara lisan dan mempersepsikan konseptual bahasa yang disampaikan oleh oranglain. Keterbatasan tersebut tidak menggugurkan kewajiban dalam mempelajari Islam. Penulis melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan: mengetahui komunikasi nonverbal, kendala, dan strategi yang digunakan di SLBN Cicendo Kota Bandung. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian yang didapatkan: komunikasi nonverbal yang digunakan di SLBN Cicendo yaitu melalui gerak tubuh, jarak, intonasi, sentuhan, dan pakaian sebagai artifaktual. Adapun Kendala komunikasi nonverbal pada tunarungu dalam menanaman nilai-nilai Islam yaitu sebagian siswa belum mengenal huruf hijaiyah, minimnya jumlah guru agama, faktor lingkungan, dan buku ajar. Terdapat strategi yaitu membuat sajadah yang bertuliskan bacaan salat, memberikan reward , dan program sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract. The phenomenon of class separation is one of the rules that are often found in educational institutions in the form of Islamic boarding schools, the process is carried out by distinguishing learning spaces for men and women because of special restrictions that refer to Islamic teachings. This study aims to determine the impact of class separation on interpersonal communication skills. This study uses qualitative research using descriptive-analytical methods, as well as using interpersonal communication theory. This class separation is carried out based on the teachings of Islam, namely the Koran and the sunnah which stipulates that men and women are not allowed to be in the same environment. The learning process in accordance with Islamic teachings is not to provide space for students to ikhtilath. The impacts include the growing awareness within oneself that there are limits that must be maintained in establishing communication between men and women, while the negative impact is giving awkwardness when in the end you have to communicate with the opposite sex, and even causing excessive curiosity about the opposite sex. Abstrak. Fenomena pemisahan kelas adalah salah satu aturan yang sering dijumpai di lembaga pendidikan berupa pesantren, prosesnya dilakukan dengan membedakan ruang pembelajaran santri laki-laki dan perempuan sebab adanya pembatasan khusus yang mengacu pada ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak yang ditimbulkan dari pemisahan kelas terhadap kemampuan komunikasi antarpribadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis, serta menggunakan teori komunikasi antarpribadi. Pemisahan kelas ini dilakukan dengan berlandaskan ajaran Islam yakni al-Quran dan sunah yang mensyari'atkan bahwa laki-laki dan perempuan tidak dibenarkan untuk berada dalam satu lingkungan. Proses pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan ajaran Islam ialah tidak memberikan ruang bagi peserta didiknya untuk berikhtilath. Dampak yang ditimbulkan diantaranya adalah tumbuhnya kesadaran dalam diri pribadi bahwa ada batasan yang harus dijaga dalam menjalin komunikasi antara laki-laki dan perempuan, sedangkan dampak negatifnya adalah memberikan kecanggungan ketika pada akhirnya harus melakukan komunikasi dengan lawan jenis, dan bahkan menimbulkan penasaran berlebih terhadap lawan jenis.

Abstract

Abstract. Da’wah is an effort to foster religious understanding in society. The function of dawah is to spread Islam to mankind as members of society, so that they have good morals and behavior according to Islamic guidance. The purpose of this study was to find out the da'wah agenda at Al-Amin Mosque in fostering religious understanding of the congregation, the congregation’s participation and response in da'wah activities, supporting and inhibiting factors in da’wah communication, and da'wah communication patterns in fostering religious understanding of the people of Cikoneng Hamlet, Cikoneng Village, Ganeas District Sumedang District. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative research type. Data found through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study amounted to 8 people. The results of the study found that the pattern of da’wah communication used by the preacher in fostering religious understanding of the people of Cikoneng Hamlet, Cikoneng Village, Ganeas District (a case study at Al-Amin Mosque) is the pattern of group da’wah communication in the ta’lim assembly and Madrasah Diniyah, the pattern of interpersonal da’wah communication in hospitality to residents’ homes, and patterns of public da’wah communication in the implementation of compensation to people in need. The research was analyzed with Persuasive Communication Cognitive Learning Theory which is relevant according to the delivery of da’wah. Abstrak. Dakwah merupakan upaya untuk membina pemahaman keagamaan masyarakat. Fungsi dakwah adalah untuk penyebaran Islam kepada umat manusia sebagai anggota masyarakat, agar memiliki akhlak dan perilaku baik sesuai tuntunan Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui agenda dakwah di Masjid Al-Amin dalam membina pemahaman keagamaan jamaah, partisipasi jamaah dan responnya dalam kegiatan dakwah, faktor penunjang dan penghambat dalam komunikasi dakwah, dan pola komunikasi dakwah dalam pembinaan pemahaman keagamaan masyarakat Dusun Cikoneng Desa Cikoneng Kecamatan Ganeas Kabupaten Sumedang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data ditemukan melalui hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 orang. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa, Pola komunikasi dakwah yang digunakan dai dalam pembinaan pemahaman keagamaan masyarakat Dusun Cikoneng Desa Cikoneng Kecamatan Ganeas (studi kasus Masjid Al-Amin) adalah pola komunikasi dakwah kelompok dalam majelis ta’lim dan Madrasah Diniyah, pola komunikasi dakwah antarpribadi dalam silaturahmi ke rumah warga, dan pola komunikasi dakwah publik dalam pelaksanaan santunan kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan. Penelitian dianalisis dengan Teori Belajar Kognitif Komunikasi Persuasif yang relevan sesuai dengan penyampaian dakwah.

Abstract

Abstract. This research is motivated by the development of social media as a means of preaching and to understand what da'wah messages are contained in the Tiktok video "Aab Elkairmi". This has prompted researchers to conduct research on Aab Elkarimi's Tiktok content which contains da'wah content related to social, political, and religious issues. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach, and uses a semiotic method. Charles Sanders Peirce semiotics is the semiotics used in this research. With the semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Peirce researchers can find out the da'wah messages contained in the Tiktok account "Aab Elkarimi". As a result, the researchers found that in the short videos entitled "Mubadzir Pangan", "Monsterisasi Tauhid", "FWB", "Sesajen", "DSAS", the videos contain several elements of da'wah messages, namely: Aqidah Messages, Moral Messages, and Messages Sharia. Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan media sosial sebagai sara dalam berdakwah dan untuk memahami pesan dakwah apa saja yang terkandung didalam video Tiktok “Aab Elkairmi”. Hal inilah yang mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai konten Tiktok Aab Elkarimi yang berisikan konten dakwah yang berkaitan dengan isu sosial, politik, dan agama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif, dan menggunakan metode semiotika. Semiotika “Charles Sanders Peirce” adalah semiotika yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Dengan analisis semiotika “Charles Sanders Peirce” peneliti dapat mengetahui pesan-pesan dakwah yang terdapat di akun Tiktok “Aab Elkarimi”. Hasilnya peneliti menemukan bahwa di dalam video pendek berjudul “Mubadzir Pangan”, “ Monsterisasi Tauhid”, “FWB”, ”Sesajen”, “DSAS”, video-video tersebut mengandung beberapa unsur pesan dakwah yakni: Pesan Aqidah, Pesan Akhlak, dan Pesan Syariah.
