Abstract

The Network Installation Monitoring Application currently used by PT XYZ in reporting network installation work has never been evaluated for the usability of the application. The measurement of the usability level of the network installation monitoring application is the initial stage to assess the success of website implementation. The research was conducted by giving questionnaires to respondents in the assessment and calculation of the number of sus scores that can be done with a small number of samples. There are 10 questions on the questionnaire with a rating scale of 1 to 5 for a rating of strongly agree. The result of the score calculation shows the number 75.7, so it is included in the good category or the application is feasible to use.

Abstract

Implementation of Filling Out Lecturer Evaluations by Students (EDOM) which is carried out at the end of each semester during the Semester Final Examination (UAS) activities, has been developed into an online computerized information system using a MySQL database. As the amount of data in the EDOM information system increases, data storage that has a high complexity is needed, so that from the database side it must have high performance and can handle large amounts of data. For the needs of the EDOM information system, MySQL is no longer able to provide its best performance in handling large amounts of data, so a database that has better performance is needed. The purpose of this final project is to Migrate MySQL Database to PostgreSQL on Application System (Evaluation of Lecturers by Students) EDOM Department of Economics and Business, in order to overcome the problem of MySQL database which is no longer able to provide its best performance in handling large amounts of data. The system development method used is the SDLC method. Based on the results of tests carried out by testing query performance on both dbms, PostgreSQL has a stable performance compared to MySQL, at the same amount of data MySQL excels in regular updates and selects without additional clauses. Meanwhile PostgreSQL excels at creating, deleting data and complex join clauses. The next test is carried out on the application using the php function, namely microtime by writing a script at the beginning of the body and before closing the body of the html page on applications that use MySQL and PostgreSQL dbms, carried out to test the speed in loading data in EDOM system applications, the result is that the use of PostgreSQL dbms is faster in load data, because the data is presented using complex join clauses. This is because PostgreSQL supports locking at a lower level, namely row so that it becomes one of the advantages in doing database migration because the business processes in the EDOM System Application are made more effective.

Abstract

Currently, Indonesia is experiencing a waste emergency and it is very worrying. The amount of waste generated by the population in Indonesia reaches 189 thousand tons per day. The author proposes by utilizing internet of things (IoT) technology as a means to make it easier for employees and those closest to them to have high awareness of waste. The contribution of this design is based on 3 parties, namely students, PDAM Way Komering and Lampung State Polytechnic. For the design of this final project using the RAD method. With the creation of this system, it can facilitate the management and disposal of waste by officers and the surrounding community.

Abstract

Trash-Mate is a Waste Bank application that can be a medium of information and facilitate the Waste Bank Customer transaction process more practically and effectively, to help the community in conducting waste management transactions at the Waste Bank remotely through the android application. The features in the Back-End Design for the Android-Based Trash-Mate Waste Bank Application are login, Customer Data, Admin Data, Trash Data, Trash Pickup, Balance Withdrawal, and Log-Out. Basically, a waste bank is a program where waste will be collected and sorted, then the waste will be exchanged for money. The remaining waste will be weighed and valued at a certain amount, then sold to factories that have partnered with waste banks.

Abstract

This preliminary study aims to measure the performance of the Moodle-based online learning system for Learning Management System (LMS) of Lampung State Polytechnic. This is done by conducting performance and load testing on LMS to gain a deeper understanding of the server performance in handling high user loads. The measurements were carried out using Apache JMeter with predefined scenarios provided by Moodle. The test results showed that most of the services were accessible well and fast, but there were some services that experience increased response time as the number of users increases.

Abstract

In the digital era, the use of websites has become crucial for business development, including the SMEs learning application based on video developed by Siger Innovation Hub. Before the application can be widely used, it is important to conduct comprehensive testing to ensure a fast and stable response. This article measures website loading speed through performance testing. This testing identifies issues early on, providing information for improvements and enhancements before implementing the application on a larger scale. The chosen method is load testing, with the research phases following the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). The results obtained from the performance testing using the load testing method indicate that the website is capable of meeting the target response time (response time < 3000ms), achieving a peak throughput of 18/seconds, and having a maximum error rate of 0.50%. In conclusion, the website for the SMEs learning application with video media can operate optimally when tested with 1 to 100 users.
