Abstract

Pasang surut air laut terhadap sungai Musi mempengaruhi tinggi muka air terutama di areal persawahan pasang surut desa Merah Mata, Kelurahan Mariana Kecamatan Banyu Asin I, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Ketika air pasang naik melebihi elevasi ± 1,25 meter diukur dari titik ± 0,00 yang berada di pinggir sungai, tanaman padi akan tenggelam dan mengakibatkan padi rusak atau mati dan bibit tanaman padi hanyut dibawa arus sungai Musi. Hal ini mengakibatkan para petani kesulitan untuk meningkatkan hasil produksi tanaman padi, sehingga diperlukan teknologi alternatif seperti pembuatan pintu air otomatis counter weight dan stoplog. Peranan pintu air adalah untuk menahan masuknya air pasang dan mengalirkannya ketika surut (time of drainage). Unjuk kerja dari pintu air otomatis tersebut dapat dijelaskan dengan membuat model berupa prototipe (model fisik) dengan suatu perbandingan ukuran atau skala tertentu melalui uji di laboratorium dengan menggunakan perhitungan secara analitis. Hasil uji laboratorium dan perhitungan analitis menunjukkan bahwa tinggi bukaan pintu air pada saat pasang dan surut dapat ditentukan berdasarkan sudut kemiringan awal dan berat pintu terhadap engsel serta berat bandul (counter weight), sehingga tinggi bukaan pintu yang diinginkan agar tanaman tidak tenggelam, yaitu 1,25 m dapat dilakukan.

Abstract

Sedimentation that occurred in the Lematang River in Lahat Regency was caused by river bank erosion, construction activities, and household waste brought by the flow discharge. The flow of the Lematang river will certainly affect the amount of sedimentation that will occur in the Lematang river.Based on the test results of the analysis of sediment sample filters, the results obtained d50 = 0.425 mm, and the results of research on the river cross-section with the aim to calculate the volume of base sediment sediment / bed load that occurs by flowing Lematang river flow obtained H = 0.41 m, B = 0 , 41 m, V = 2,650 m / sec.Based on the results of the analysis of the influence of flow discharge on sedimentation in the Lematang River, Lahat Regency, it is known that the type of bed load sediment in the Lematang River is poorly graded sand with large sediment transport carried by the flow discharge in the study segment of 0.022 (m3 / sec) with the duboy's method and 0.0000004 (kg / sec / m) with the shield's method, so the sediment volume for the next one year is 693,792 (m3 / sec) m for the duboy's method and 126,144 (kg / sec / m) for the shield's method .

Abstract

The use of additional materials as a mixture in the manufacture of concrete is progressive. The materials used are also increasingly varied, depending on the expected results, the added material that will hopefully achieve the expected quality of the concrete is f'c 24.9 MPa This research aims to increase the percentage of concrete increase in the percentage of addition of sugar cane dust and palm shell ash.This research uses cylindrical specimens with a total of 42 specimens consisting of 2.5% and 5% bagasse ash and 0, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, and 10% palm shell ash as materials. alternative to the strength of the compressive strength test concrete for 28 days.Based on the results of testing the compressive strength of cylindrical concrete, it is concluded that the increase in compressive strength is the largest. can be obtained 5% bagasse ash and 5% palm shell ash with a characteristic value of f'C 26.31 Mpa for 28 daysKeywords: Concrete, bagasse ash, palm shell ash, compressive strength

Abstract

In the irrigation water network in the city village of Negara sub-district of Madang, Suku II, East Oku Regency experienced a significant loss of irrigation water. From the observation site, it is caused by the number of channels that have broken and broken conditions, the growth of wild plants in the walls of the channel and a lot of garbage that has accumulated in the channel and evaporation in the summer. The purpose of this research is to find out how much the loss of irrigation water in the secondary channel starting from the building tapping BGT1 to BGT4 In the liquid that flows in the channel made of concrete over time the channel will be damaged, overgrown with a lot of wild plants because of damage and the other channel will cause water loss during drainage. The source of the data is obtained based on the results of the field survey, primary data and secondary data are obtained.Based on the analysis results, the largest irrigation water loss on the first day in the morning was 0.325 m³ / s, on the sixth day in the afternoon it was 0.332 m³ / s, on the seventh day in the afternoon it was 0.184 m³ / s. The smallest irrigation water loss on the fifth day in the morning was 0.128 m³ / s, the fifth day in the afternoon was 0.129 m³ / s, and the first day in the afternoon was 0.02 m³ / s. The average water loss occurred on the second day with results obtained in the morning of 0.297 m³ / s, in the afternoon amounting to 0.322 m³ / s, and in the afternoon amounting to 0.184 m³ / s.

Abstract

Sungai Lematang memiliki panjang 244 km merupakan salah satu sungai terpanjang di Sumatera Selatan. Bantaran Sungai Lematang pun tak luput dari fenomena erosi. Dampak dari erosi ini dapat mengakibatkan gerusan pada lereng sungai. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penelitian penyebab terjadinya gerusan pada sungai tersebut, Penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan perhitungan kecepatan aliran sungai dengan metode apung, dan rumus Manning. Untuk stabilitas lereng menggunakan metode Fellenius. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan aliran (Vlapangan) = 0,64 m/detik dan kecepatan aliran perhitunganVperhitungan= 0,61 meter/ detik > Vc dengan syarat batas terendah 0,60 m/detik, menunjukkan bahwa lereng di daerah tersebut mengalami penggerusan. Nilai stabilitas lereng sebesar 0,23 < 1,5 yang berarti lereng tidak stabil. Kata Kunci : Kecepatan aliran, gerusan lereng sungai.

Abstract

Floods that occurred in Jalan Bay Salim, Sekip Jaya Village, Kemuning District, Palembang were caused by high rainfall with a long duration, inadequate drainage canals filled with rubbish, sediment deposits that were thick enough and cross section of drainage channels that could no longer hold water in large quantities so that there is an overflow of water from the drainage channel.The dimensions of the drainage channel in Jalan Bay Salim Sekip Jaya, Kemuning District in Palembang, there can be two rectangular channels, as follows: First channel: H = 1 m, b = 2 m, y = 0.61 m, p = 200 m, by being able to accommodate discharge: 1,376 m3 / sec, with maximum discharge: 0,365 m3 / sec, second channel: H = 0.6, b = 0.5m, y = 0.3m, p = 200m, by being able to accommodate discharge: 0,7584 m3 / sec, with maximum discharge: 0,779 m3 / sec. So from the observation only the first channel can accommodate maximum flowrate.Based on the results of the analysis that the second channel is no longer able to accommodate the maximum discharge, therefore in order to accommodate the maximum discharge it is necessary to analyze the dimensions of the channel that can accommodate the maximum discharge by normalizing by changing the dimensions of the channel as follows: second channel: H = 0.6, b = 1 m, y = 0.5 m, p = 200 m, so it can hold the discharge: 2,075m3 / sec, with a maximum discharge of 0,779 m3 / sec.
