Abstract

Getting information in real time at specific times and locations is especially needed when users have high mobility. But often users are not familiar with the area, so difficulty in finding locations and information. The development of technology for location based services and augmented reality makes it easy to get information from available resources in locations using mobile devices equipped with GPS devices. The research aims to combine hotel location based services and augmented reality in android-based mobile device by manipulating virtual objects into real objects through the camera as input and mobile phone display as output.The integration of hotel location based services and augmented reality is useful for hotel users to be able to search hotel information by directing the camera mobile device in the direction of specific targets to be retrieved information. The output of the system is provided in real time on the mobile device display for the user. Output information provided in the direction of location of the hotel object and information about the object of the hotel.

Abstract

Everyone must have a rush outside the house, sometimes in a hurry even forget to turn off and turn on the light in the house during the morning or night. At times like this, of course, that makes people lazy to go back to the house to turn off the light that causes electricity waste and make time efficient to turn on the light. In this study a prototype of lighting control will be made where observations have been made about the prototype need. Then look for literature related to light control prototypes. The prototype method uses the blynk application as a light controller connected to the internet with the media via wifi. ESP-01 as a microcontroller processes commands from a smart phone which then results in controlling both the off and on the lights as well as the receiver and transmitter in the lighting control system. Thyristor switch module as an electrical switch instead of a manual switch at home to turn on or turn off the light through commands from the microcontroller. This prototype is very easy to use because through a prototype smart phone can be controlled, so this is a solution for humans to turn on or turn off the light by utilizing wifi in the house. From the experiments that have been carried out the average speed of the prototype tool receives an order from open source blynk application in 0.28 seconds

Abstract

How to deliver teaching materials in lectures is one part that determines students understand the material presented, especially when lecture material is something that requires equipment that supports outdoor activities or requires practicum devices that are not possible to apply to the room for example is practicum about depicting Fresnel Zone and Sometimes monotonous delivery bores students so that they are not interested enough to have difficulty in understanding lecture material. One way that can be done to overcome this is by using visual equipment so that what is conveyed visually makes students interested in the material presented. Submission visually in the room is also a problem when the number of students is large. For that we need equipment that can provide information visually and is easy to use or carry that can stimulate the activities of students to interact. Augmented Reality is a visual model that can provide new experiences in interacting between real objects and virtual objects in the form of three dimensions, using augmented reality packaged as learning material can help students to understand teaching materials in lectures.

Abstract

Penyampaian bahan ajar dalam perkuliahan adalah salah satu bagian yang menentukan peserta didik paham akan materi yang disampaikan terutama ketika bahan perkuliahan adalah hal yang menuntut peralatan yang mendukung aktifitas di luar ruangan atau membutuhkan perangkat praktikum yang tidak memungkinkan diterapkan pada ruangan misalnya adalah praktikum mengenai penggambaran Fresnel Zone dan Terkadang penyampaian yang monoton membuat bosan peserta didik sehingga mereka kurang tertarik hingga kesulitan dalam memahai materi perkuliahan. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan peralatan visual sehingga apa yang disampaikan dengan cara visual membuat peserta didik tertarik dengan materi yang disampaikan. Penyampaian secara visual dalam ruangan juga menjadi masalah ketika jumlah peserta didik banyak. Untuk itu diperlukan peralatan yang dapat memberikan informasi secara visual dan mudah digunakan ataupun dibawa yang dapat memacu aktifitas peserta didik untuk berinteraksi. Realitas tertambah merupkan model visual yang dapat memberikan pengalaman baru dalam berinteraksi antara obyek nyata dan obyek maya yang di bentuk dalam bentuk tiga dimensi, dengan menggunakan realitas tertambah yang dikemas sebagai bahan pembelajaran dapat membantu peserta didik untuk memahami bahan ajar dalam perkuliahan.

Abstract

Aplikasi monitoring status gizi balita yang akan dibuat diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan peran sektor kesehatan terhadap pembentukan sumber daya manusia, gizi buruk dapat menyebabkan penyimpangan dan kelainan tumbuh kembang anak karena ciri anak sehat dapat dilihat dari tumbuh dan kembangnya. Hal tersebut dapat terwujud salah satunya dengan memberikan asupan gizi yang cukup berupa pemberian makanan tambahan bagi ibu hamil dan anak balita yang berasal dari keluarga rawan (tingkat ekonomi yang rendah). Dengan didukung konsep smart city atau kota cerdas yang mulai diterapkan di Kota Bontang aplikasi ini dapat memonitoring data gizi balita yang ada di Posyandu-Posyandu beserta status gizi balita tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengelompokan atau klasifikasi status gizi balita dengan menggunakan fuzzy sugeno. Pertama kali ditentukan indikator atau variabel klasifikasi, nilai-nilai hasil pengukuran gizi balita suatu daerah secara real yang diinputkan akan diolah menggunakan metode fuzzy sehingga diketahui klasifikasi status gizi di daerah tersebut. Dengan diimplementasikan menggunakan sistem informasi geografis informasi yang akan ditampilkan dengan peta secara online dan selalu terupdate (diperbarui). Penggunaan perangkat mobile android bertujuan memudahkan petugas posyandu dalam menginputkan data-data pengukuran gizi balita. Dengan adanya program aplikasi monitoring status gizi balita berbasis android maka dapat memberikan informasi pemantauan status gizi balita yang selalu diperbarui dan mudah diakses kapanpun dan dari manapun. Sehingga berdasarkan informasi tersebut jika ada daerah (kelurahan) yang status gizi balitanya buruk atau mengkhawatirkan akan cepat ditangani oleh Dinas Kesehatan dan Keluarga Berencana Kota Bontang.

Abstract

Water is needed by households or businesses. The amount of water used has an impact on the costs incurred. These costs are getting out of control if the use is not controlled. Users only know after the payment period is due. This cost can be controlled if the amount of water used can be controlled. Even though the water supply company already has a system with a usage meter, users still find it difficult to read the device and the amount of usage costs at that time. So this research was carried out with the aim of building a water use control system for Internet of Things (IoT) based water supply service customers. This system is connected to the user's mobile device via an internet connection so that it can control water use in real time. This system uses the ESP826 microcontroller device. The results of this study can monitor and control in real time the use of water properly. So that this system becomes a reference in reducing the cost of water usage which is controlled in real time

Abstract

Bontang dengan segala kondisi perekonomian yang dinamis menuntut masyarakatnya untuk kreatif dalam berusaha memutar roda perekonomian. Demikian juga dengan para petani dengan lahan yang luasnya terbatas mereka berusaha memanfaatkan lahan tersebut menjadi lahan pertanian maupun lahan perikanan. Dengan kondisi maka terjadilah kelompok-kelompok usaha petanian dan perikanan, terutama usaha perikanan sedikit sekali dari kelompok-kelompok tersebut mengetahui parameter untuk membudidayakan ikan, Sebagian dari kelompok tidak sedikit yang gagal dalam berusaha dalam melakukan ternak ikan terutama ternak ikan dengan menggunakan media terpal sebagai kolamnya. beberapa hasil yang didapat dari peternakan ika hasilnya tidak sesuai dengan yang diharapkan antara lain jumlah ikan yang dipanen lebih sedikit dari jumlah yang ditanam, atau kondisi bobot ikan yang kecil tidak sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Parameter untuk mendapatkan ikan yang Panjang dengan bobot lebih besar dipengaruhi oleh kondisi suhu air, oksigen terlarut, pH dan amoniak. Sedangkan untuk melakukan pengawasan terhadap kondisi tersebut sangat kurang dilakukan karena terkendala oleh kegiatan lain yang dilakuka oleh para petani tambak ikan. Maka bertolak dari permasalahan maka dibangunlah model monitoring suhu dan pH air kolam dengan memanfaatkan teknologi IoT.

Abstract

The course Algorithms and Programming in the Informatics Engineering study program is given in the first and second semesters, as this course is a scientific course that serves as a basis for advanced programming courses in higher semesters. It is often the case that intelligent graduates obtain good academic grades during their studies and become outstanding students, but when working in their field of expertise, their performance is not as good as graduates who had lower academic grades. Success is not only determined by intellectual intelligence (IQ), but also by other types of intelligence. Intellectual intelligence or cognitive intelligence is one type of intelligence, while non-intellectual intelligence includes other types of intelligence outside of cognitive intelligence. One of this non-intellectual intelligence is emotional intelligence. Intellectual intelligence and non-intellectual intelligence play equally important roles in supporting individual success. This research discusses the analysis of the effect of emotional intelligence on the level of understanding of algorithms and programming using the linear regression method implemented with an application. The sample taken is students of the Informatics Engineering study program in the third and fourth semesters. With the results of the influence of emotional intelligence on the understanding of Algorithms and Programming, it can provide a solution to improve students' understanding of the Algorithms and Programming course and other computer courses in the scientific field of the Informatics Engineering study program. The application is created using the Python programming language.
