Abstract

Efforts to accelerate the vegetative period of Phalaenopsis hybrids one of which can be done with the application of NAA auksin hormone and leaf fertilizer. The aim of this research is to know the influence of Auksin NAA and leaf fertilizer on the growth of Phalaenopsis hybrid orchid. The research was conducted at Green house Jalan Tlogomas Kec. Lowokwaru, Malang City, for 5 months. The experiment was conducted by using Factorial Randomized Complete Random Design (RAL) consisting of 2 factors, ie factor I: NAA concentration: control 0 ppm (N0), 100 ppm (N1), 200 ppm (N2), and 300 ppm (N3). Factor II: leaf fertilizer, Growmore (P1) and Gandasil D (P2). Observed variables include: when shoots appear, leaf length, leaf width and percentage of live plants. The results showed that there was interaction between NAA concentration and leaf fertilizer type on the time of shoot. When the fastest shoots appear at NAA 100 ppm, Growmore fertilizer (N1P1), which is 29 days. NAA hormone effect on the increase of leaf length and leaf width until the age of 16 weeks. The best hybrid phalaenopsis growth was obtained on NAA 200 ppm with 1.49 cm leaf length and 1.06 cm leaf width up to 16 weeks old. Growmore and Gandasil D had no effect on vegetative growth of hybrid Orchid Phalaenopsis plants. Upaya untuk mepercepat masa vegetatif Phalaenopsis hibrida salah satunya dapat dilakukan dengan aplikasi hormon auksin NAA dan pupuk daun. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Auksin NAA dan jenis pupuk daun terhadappertumbuhan vegetative anggrek Phalaenopsis hibrida. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Green house Jalan Tlogomas Kec. Lowokwaru, Kota Malang, selama 5 bulan. Percobaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial terdiri 2 faktor yaitu, faktor I : konsentrasi NAA: kontrol 0 ppm (N0), 100 ppm (N1), 200 ppm (N2), dan 300 ppm (N3). Faktor II : pupuk daun, Growmore (P1) dan Gandasil D (P2). Variabel yang diamati meliputi : saat muncul tunas, panjang daun, lebar daun dan presentase tanaman hidup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaterdapat interaksi antara konsentrasi NAA dan jenis pupuk daun terhadap saat muncul tunas. Saat muncul tunas tercepat pada NAA 100 ppm, pupuk Growmore (N1P1), yaitu 29 hari. Hormon NAA berpengaruh terhadap pertambahan panjang daun danlebar daun sampai umur 16 minggu. Pertumbuhan Phalaenopsis hibrida terbaik diperoleh pada pemberian NAA 200 ppm dengan pertambahan panjang daun 1,49 cm dan pertambahan lebar daun 1,06 cm sampai dengan umur 16 minggu. Growmore dan Gandasil D tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman Anggrek Phalaenopsis hibrida.
