Abstract

This study aims to develop an edmodo-based blended learning model in learning redox material and nomenclature compound, know the properness the media and see the effectiveness of the media toward the result of the students? cognitive learning. The excellence of edmodo media is learning can be done anywhere and anytime. The research method used is research and development method with ADDIE development model, that is: 1. analysis (potential and problem analysis; 2. design (designing edmodo); 3. Development (developing edmodo media); 4. implementation (apply edmodo media to school); 5. evaluation (provide an assessment). The data were collected using expert validation sheet, teacher and student response questionnaire, and cognitive test question. The result of this research is obtained are one expert media and two expert materials in a row to reach the percentage of 86.36, 93.75, and 79.17% with very feasible criteria. The evaluation results of teachers, students of small and large scale test reached the percentage of feasibility of 77.50, 74.64 and 74.93% with attractive criteria. The students' cognitive learning outcomes after using edmodo as a learning medium reached the percentage of classical completeness 89.89%. The conclusion of this research is the learning model based on Edmodo-based blended learning is appropriate to be used as a medium of learning redox material and material nomenclature and it is also effective for students? cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Theory of Multiple Intelligences in education world is less so concerned. Some chemistry teachers who teach high school students in Semarang City are not aware to this theory due to lack of references. This research aims to know the level of Multiple Intelligences of high school students in Semarang City in chemistry studies according to the indicators as described by Howard Gardner. Those indicators are intelligences of verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, visual-spatial, physical-kinesthetic, musical-rhytmic, intrapersonal, interpersonal, and naturalist. This research is conducted in three schools which takes fifty students of XI IPA from each school using random and simple in retrieving the data. That data is collected using questionnaires which are shared to students to know the level of Mutiple Intelligences. The research data is analyzed descriptive-quantitatively, that quantitative data is only used as means of categorizing the level of students’ intelligences. The result of this study is obtained various data on each indicator. The result of quantitatively data analysis shows that naturalist intelligence is obtained at the highest percentage of 71.10%, while verbal-linguistic intelligence is obtained at the lowest percentage of 62.23%. The result of this research can be used as a reference and consideration of high school teachers in formulating a lesson plan that will be applied in chemistry learning. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that the level of students’ Multiple Intelligence in chemistry learning is averagely categorized as “hight level”.

Abstract

Popular sovereignty is usually explained in the constitution through the form of a popular government system or a democratic state. This means that the state in running its government follows the law (rule of law) and is not based solely on power without rules (authoritarian state). General elections are one of the main pillars of a healthy democratic system. This research is normative juridical legal research carried out by identifying and conceptualizing law as a real and functional social institution in real life. The approach used emphasizes empirical research by going directly into the field. The nature of this research is descriptive using a statutory approach and an analytical approach. As the holder of judicial power, the special judiciary must ensure the application of law and justice. The Special Election Court needs to have express authority to hear cases in its jurisdiction. It is necessary to consider whether a single body is in the capital city or per province. In the context of dispute resolution, there are also regulations regarding dispute resolution authority. This authority is not only limited to the jurisdiction of the judiciary, but is also given to parties who are mandated by statutory regulations to resolve disputes, both formally and informally. The same thing applies in resolving election disputes, where not only courts or judicial authorities have the authority to adjudicate, but also other institutions in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran World Food Programme (WFP) dalam menangani krisis pangan yang menimpa Suriah pada tahun 2018 – 2020. Setelah terjadinya konflik berkepanjangan, Suriah mengalami krisis pangan yang menguras seluruh pendapatannya, sehingga pada tahun 2019 lebih dari 7 juta warga Suriah mengalami krisis pangan. Kondisi ini menimbulkan kebutuhan mendesak akan intervensi kemanusiaan untuk membantu masyarakat yang terdampak. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah memahami krisis pangan yang terjadi di Suriah akibat konflik yang berkepanjangan dan peran vital yang dimainkan oleh organisasi internasional seperti WFP dalam merespons situasi darurat tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui analisis dokumen, laporan resmi WFP, wawancara dengan para ahli dan praktisi, serta observasi lapangan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana WFP berhasil mengatasi masalah krisis pangan di Suriah. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengkaji faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas intervensi WFP, termasuk hambatan dan tantangan yang dihadapi di lapangan. Data dan informasi dianalisis untuk mengevaluasi dampak dari berbagai kegiatan WFP dalam membantu mengurangi tingkat kelaparan dan memperbaiki ketahanan pangan di Suriah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa WFP memainkan peran yang signifikan dalam menanggulangi krisis pangan di Suriah melalui berbagai program bantuan pangan, distribusi makanan darurat, dan dukungan nutrisi. Meskipun demikian, efektivitas intervensi WFP dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti kondisi keamanan, aksesibilitas ke daerah-daerah terdampak, dan keterbatasan logistik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun terdapat banyak tantangan, intervensi WFP berhasil memberikan dampak positif dalam mengurangi kelaparan dan meningkatkan ketahanan pangan di Suriah. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang mendalam tentang peran WFP dalam menanggulangi krisis pangan serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk perbaikan dan peningkatan program-program yang ada, termasuk peningkatan koordinasi dengan pemerintah lokal dan organisasi kemanusiaan lainnya, serta penguatan kapasitas logistik dan keamanan di lapangan.
