Abstract

The manager or related supervisor performs employee performance assessments to measure the performance and competency of the company's employees. The results of employee assessments can be used to make decisions. Three problems arise in the performance assessment process for PT Tibeta Logistik Indonesia's current employees. The first is that the assessment process is carried out conventionally. So it takes longer, the assessment results can be more objective, and managers or superiors cannot monitor employee performance evaluation results. Based on the literature review, it is known that the Decision Support System is a method that performs assessments more quickly and objectively. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is the Decision Support System method for performance assessment. The decision support system will be implemented on a website-based system designed with a prototype model. This research produces a website-based decision support system that can contribute to companies in evaluating employee performance. Before implementation, the decision support system was tested using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) method and obtained very good average results. Then in the comparison between before and after using the system, the results of employee assessments when using the system get superior results in 3 aspects: Integration, security, and ranking. Kata kunci: DSS, Prototipe, SAW, UAT, website.

Abstract

Unknowingly, risk is an essential part of an individual's life. Every day individuals have the potential to be threatened by possibilities that can produce something that has fatal social, human, and financial consequences. Insurance can help individuals to relieve the financial burden caused by unwanted things by transferring individual losses to insurance companies. This transfer of losses will distinguish individuals from possible bankruptcy and financial security. Automotive insurance is a liability for loss or damage to motorized vehicles. This time we will take the example of an insurance company specializing in automotive insurance, namely Top Gear Insurance (TGI). This company uses customer data storage using an ordinary manual database that does not yet use a data warehouse system. This ordinary manual database makes it difficult for TGI to retrieve data for reprocessing and makes data inaccessible from anywhere, asynchronous, concise, and inefficient. There is a solution to the TGI problem of creating a data warehouse with a star schema approach for storing and processing data. The data warehouse is likely to make the data within the company more accessible, efficient, simple, and understandable so that TGI can develop its business through data analysis from the data it already has. Datawarehouse has many business advantages, such as increasing Business Intelligence, data quality and consistency, saving time, and supporting historical data analysis and queries. The data warehouse consists of datamart, OLTP, OLAP, and Star Schema. Using Mondrian as a visualization showed that TGI can get information about customer data, policies, and claims easily, quickly, and concisely. That can also help TGI create customer profiles and targeted marketing and company evaluation based on the visualization provided.

Abstract

Strada SMK Daan Mogot, a private school in Tangerang City, oversees several operations. Student registration, academic exams, uniform measurements, and book purchases are carried out at the beginning of each school year. The Uniform Team tasked with handling this activity experienced difficulties due to the large volume of data, making conventional techniques inefficient to carry out. This research focuses on simplifying uniform ordering procedures from the uniform team to the uniform manufacturing supplier. The Uniform Team recorded and measured orders by hand, which resulted in time-consuming management and limited real-time data monitoring for the Principal. A web-based solution that allows easy access to uniform ordering data is needed to speed up these operations. The successful development and installation of this application at SMK Strada Daan Mogot is a significant achievement, with good User Acceptance Test results and confirming alignment with user needs. This progress is an essential step toward optimizing school operations.

Abstract

This research aims to increase efficiency in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the automotive components industry, focusing on CV Bengkel Megamakmur. This workshop is one of the MSMEs engaged in Indonesia's car spare parts industry. In the ongoing business process, these MSMEs need some help in inventory management, stock of goods, and less integrated sales transaction recording. The main problem identified was the discrepancy between the number of products sold and sales transaction reports. A web-based Point of Sale (POS) application was implemented, which allows the integration of inventory data and sales transactions. The method used in this research is Rapid Application Development (RAD), suitable for projects with limited resources and short work schedules. This research results in a Point of Sale application that can optimize business processes for managing inventory by monitoring stock and recording sales transactions in an integrated manner. This application has been tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method and obtained an average score of 86.6, included in the "very good" category. The test results show that this application has good functionality and can optimize MSME business processes in the automotive components industry.

Abstract

With the pandemic situation that has occurred for the last two years to date, educators and students carry out many learning activities online. Learning activities are carried out using virtual meeting media, the concept of meetings and discussion processes that are carried out virtually with existing digital communication devices. From the problems, it was found that students were likelier to be less active when learning theory than practice, which made it difficult for educators to find various media that would be given to students to support online learning activities to be more interactive. This study discusses the creation of a system that can be a medium for delivering helpful material to improve the quality of interaction between educators and students. A virtual painter is one of the media to support the online interactive learning process, where educators can complete the material presented with a clearer picture that educators provide to students. Virtual painters are used to tracking finger pattern movements where the user moves his hand as needed, namely drawing and release, which educators can use to deliver more interactive material to students in theoretical and practical learning. The system design method used in building the virtual painting is Rapid Application Development (RAD) which is carried out through 8 stages, starting from Requirements Analysis to Operation and Maintenance. Next, the diagram design uses UML notation and the phyton with OpenCV coding process. After the virtual painter had been made, an evaluation was conducted and resulted in a positive impression of all six scales: attractiveness, efficiency, clarity, precision, stimulation, and novelty.

Abstract

The property industry is a sector that faces intense competition, so innovation is needed to plan business strategies. PT Wijaya Karya Realty faces several problems, such as determining strategic locations for its property products, such as houses or shophouses, and comparing the price of company houses with the market price of homes in specific locations. To answer these needs, it is necessary to implement a data warehouse and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL). In this research, Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) is used as a tool for managing and cleaning data that can be used as analysis material to assist in data-based decision-making. Apart from that, Mondrian can be used through the workbench scheme to improve data analysis effectively. Designing a star schema that includes a dimensional table and fact table can help optimize the analysis process better. The implementation of a data warehouse allows companies to make in-depth decisions based on critical variables. The research results show that the implementation of Star Schema can provide information for companies in decision-making and business strategy planning in the property sector.
