Abstract

We are unable to survive without technology in today's entirely digital environment. Especially when managing corporate activities that depend on technology, hardware or software can be used in the technology. This business manufactures items out of mild steel. The prioritized products include roof trusses, building frame columns, and metal roof tiles. This business uses soft steel elements to provide three applications to support online sales. But because the organization has yet to conduct any testing, there are still a lot of faults or problems, making it necessary to manually assess the mobile application until a scenario report is generated and the testing findings are implemented. Scenario photographs and error sections make up the data that was collected. Based on this, the application's quality has been assessed to determine the correctness, comprehensiveness, and standard of the software used in the Metalmens Application. However, the system's quality still needs to be discovered. The McCall method is used as the measurement technique in this investigation. According to the McCall Method results, the quality of Metalmen Applications is solid, scoring 84%, with dependability scoring 84% and reliability scoring 62%. Dependability is the best indicator, scoring 84%.

Abstract

Stunting in toddlers is a global health problem affecting children's physical andmental development. This study aims to analyze the prevalence, trends, causes, and impact of stunting on toddlers in West Java province from 2014-2021. It also provides poor nutrition, sanitation, and access and healthcare practices. The analysis results show that although preventive and intervention efforts have been undertaken by the government, stunting rates in children under 5 years of age in West Java still remain high during the study period. Bad nutrition, especially bad nutrition in the first 1,000 days of life, was identified as the main cause of stunting in this region. In addition, poor hygiene and lack of access to health care also played a big role in this problem. Stunting has a serious impact on the physical and cognitive development of toddlers and can affect their productivity and health in the future. Therefore, real steps need to be taken to improve good nutritional access, provide education on the importance of nutrition in pregnancy and childhood, as well as improving the health infrastructure and medical services facilities in West Java. This study provides an in-depth understanding of stunting dynamics in children under 5 years of age at the regional level, so that it can serve as a foundation for more effective intervention policies and programs to lower the malnutrition rate.

Abstract

This research intends to develop an application based on an expert system that aids in assisting a person in identifying the type of employment that best fits their personality and set of traits. When a task that was previously performed manually and will be transferred to a computer system based on an expert system, measurements are made of each person's interests and talents. The Visual Basic programming language was used to construct this application. Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional (RIASEC), developed based on Holland's thesis, is one of the six fundamental personalities that must be considered to suit individual psychological conditions in professional growth. The six parameters will be provided in various question formats, including graphic images, to help with measurement accuracy. Measurements are improved in accuracy and efficiency thanks to this application. It is anticipated that the system will be able to replace the psychologist in gauging interest according to Holland's theory if adequate measurement and analysis findings are available.

Abstract

In the tourism sector which includes recreation and holiday activities, the Indonesian tourism sector has a very important role because of its impact on the country's foreign exchange reserves. Indonesia, with its diverse attractions ranging from nature, culture, religion, family activities, shopping and gastronomy, presents many choices for tourists. The city of Semarang is actively increasing its tourism offerings, but the sheer number of choices can overwhelm tourists. This research presents an advanced recommendation system based on collaborative filtering and content-based filtering techniques. By leveraging historical travel data, including attraction visits, ratings, and frequently visited categories, the system provides tailored suggestions. Content-based filtering prioritizes tourist attractions such as Chinatown Semarang, Kampoeng Djadhoel Semarang, Kapal Mosque Semarang, Tugu Muda Semarang, and Tinjomoyo Forest Tourism Semarang based on ratings. Collaborative filtering resulted in recommendations such as Gua Maria Kerep Ambarawa (rating: 4.8), La Kana Chapel (rating: 4.5), Palagan Ambarawa Monument (rating: 4.4), Eling Bening Tourism (rating: 4.3), and Kampoeng Kopi Banaran (rating: 4.3).In a world where choices are many and time is limited, this advanced recommendation system simplifies travel decisions, elevating ordinary trips into extraordinary adventures. This heralds the future of tourism, where technology aligns with exploration to uncover Semarang's hidden treasures.” of 4.3.

Abstract

Payroll is a system used by a company to manage the payment of the employees. The payroll system makes it simpler for HR to pay all employees' salaries each month. It is challenging for employees who work from home (WFH) to be present due to the COVID-19 epidemic. The HR department needs help overseeing and monitoring employee absences and regulating compensation. In response to these issues, a web-based information system was developed to simplify employee attendance tracking and to aid the Human Resource Division's (HRD) supervision and management of staff tasks and compensation. The system has undergone testing in the employee attendance phase, the validation process by the HRD Division and checking the results of the test and several factors starting from logging in to the payroll reporting process and the results of the UAT test on average meet the success rate indicators to be implemented into the company.

Abstract

This research aims to increase efficiency in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the automotive components industry, focusing on CV Bengkel Megamakmur. This workshop is one of the MSMEs engaged in Indonesia's car spare parts industry. In the ongoing business process, these MSMEs need some help in inventory management, stock of goods, and less integrated sales transaction recording. The main problem identified was the discrepancy between the number of products sold and sales transaction reports. A web-based Point of Sale (POS) application was implemented, which allows the integration of inventory data and sales transactions. The method used in this research is Rapid Application Development (RAD), suitable for projects with limited resources and short work schedules. This research results in a Point of Sale application that can optimize business processes for managing inventory by monitoring stock and recording sales transactions in an integrated manner. This application has been tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method and obtained an average score of 86.6, included in the "very good" category. The test results show that this application has good functionality and can optimize MSME business processes in the automotive components industry.

Abstract

The development of technology in the field of journalism has grown very rapidly. However, in the field of journalism there are still frequent deviations from the language on online news portals. This can be seen from the aspect of spelling and word usage. Spelling mistakes that occur in the news can cause the information contained in the news to be unclear and ambiguous. Based on these problems, a study was conducted to create a model to detect type error in Indonesian. This model is created using the random forest algorithm. random forest is an algorithm that works by building several decision trees and then combining the decisions from each tree that has been built and taking the most votes from the predictions of each tree so that it will produce stable and accurate predictions. The results of the accuracy of the model in the research that has been done is 100%. However, it should be noted that this 100% result is that the model is able to detect words that are already contained in the dataset. Based on the evaluation results that have been carried out, because the detected word is contained in the dataset, the accuracy issued is 100%. The built model successfully detects type error in Tribunnews news articles.
