Abstract

A map is one of the cartographic scientific products that is used as a guide to access locations or places. The use of information technology and computer systems in cartography can increase the value of map products to be interactive and can be accessed online via the internet. This interactive map of the Unsyiah Director Office building is the development of an interactive map product of the author with the addition of an animated pathway from the reference point to the location point. With these additions, it will be easier for visitors to access the location

Abstract

It is a common practice for Airline Industries have bargaining discountprices of tickets are sold to seat in cabin on the same flight. That callsRevenue Management. The yield management has focused mainly on theairline industries. Bathia, Parekh and Richter have developed some simpledecision rules to determine optimal booking limits in nested fare inventorysystem. To maximize the expected revenue, management needs todetermine the optimal times to switch between prices based on theremaining season and inventory.Keyword: Mathematical modeling, Nonlinear programming, InventoryControl

Abstract

This study aimed to determine factors related to the nutritional status of adolescents in the city of BandaAceh. Cross sectional study was conducted through interview using questionnaires regarding nutritionalstatus, knowledge and income of parents. Correspondence analysis was used to determinefactors relatedto adolescent nutritional status.. The results revealed that the adolescents with normal nutritional statustend to have good knowledge and good diet.

Abstract

Oriensubulitermes inanis (Haviland) is one of the endemic termites in the Oriental Region and plays a very important role in the decomposition process in tropical forests. This study aims to redescribe O. inanis from Indonesia. Termite were collected by adopting a Standized Sampling Protocol (Jones & Eggketon 2000) and final taxonomic confirmation were conducted at the Natural History Museum UK) and Florida University (USA). We found 21 colonies of O. inanis from various habitats and altitudes in Indonesia. Distribution of O. inanis is often correlated with biodiversity status in tropical forests. Worker caste mandible provides the most useful character for the description of O. inanis. In Southeast Asia, this rare species is restricted and can be found only in the Malay Peninsula, Borneo and Sumatra, and absence from Java. Decayed wood, base of tree trunks, and other termite nests (epigeal mounds) are selected media used to construct their nests. Limited population number in a colony, restricted alates flying ability, and secretive nest habitats are thought to influence the distribution of O. inanis in Indonesia.

Abstract

The changing climate causes rainfall to vary from period to period. This change has an impact on society, especially in agriculture such as crop failure. This study aims to predict rainfall in 2018 and 2019 with the Simple Moving Average (SMA) method and the Weighted Moving Average (WMA) method. Based on 2004-2018 data, the dry season occurs in February-October and the rainy season in November-January. The level of validation of forecasters in 2018 according to each the SMA method and the WMA method were 43.43% and 40.69%, respectively. Both of these methods are low and reasonable or acceptable. Based on the SMA method, the division of the dry season in 2019 is estimated in February-October while the distribution of the rainy season in the same year is in December-January. Based on the WMA Method that the distribution of the dry season is estimated in February-April, June-September and the rainy season in October-January and May.

Abstract

Banda Aceh city and Aceh Besar Regency are two of the leading tourism areas located in the province of Aceh. For travelling, there are some important things to be considered, such as determining schedule and distance of tourism. Every tourist certainly chooses the shortest route to reach the destination since it can save time, energy, and money. The purpose of this reserach is to develop a method that can be used in calculating the shortest route and applied to the tourism of Banda Aceh city and Aceh Besar regency. In this reserach, Ant Colony Optimization algorithm is used to determine the shortest route to tourism of Banda Aceh city and Aceh Besar regency. From the analysis made by using both manual calculation and  GUI MATLAB program application test, the shortest route can be obtained with a minimum distance of 120.85 km in one travel. Based on the test result, the application for tourism (in Banda Aceh city and Aceh Besar regency) shortest route searching built by utilizing the Ant Colony Optimization algorithm can find optimal route. Keyword: tourism, the shortest route, Ant Colony Optimization
