Abstract

Karakteristk hidrodinamik, dan pola aliran pada aliran berlawanan arah udara-air dalam pipa vertikal telah dilakukan. Pengukuran ketebalan film dengan metode konduktimetri, dan penurunan tekanan dengan manometer U. Untuk mendapatkan aliran berlawanan arahm udara-air, maka air dialirkan dari atas melalui media berpori, sedangkan udara diinjeksikan dari bawah secara aksial. Pengukuran ketebalan film dilakukan pada jarak (X) 400, 1600, dan 2400xmm dengan variasi angka Reynolds air (ReL) 845-2446 dan laju injeksi udara dengan kecepatan 1.84-5.54m/s dari injektor air. Pengukuran ketebalan film dilakukan secara simultan. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa kurva ketebalan film terjadi penurunan secara perlahan-lahan dengan meningkatnya laju aliran udara. Tetapi, saat flooding besaran ini turun drastis, dan gradien tekanan (dp/dx) tiba-tiba meningkat tajam. Flooding diawali ketidakstabilan aliran film dimulai dari sisi bagian bawah saluran, kemudian membentuk formasi gelombang-gelombang kecil dan pola aliran acak bergerak ke atas secara simultan. Saat flooding pola aliran ini berubah menjadi pola aliran annular mengalir ke bawah. Pada transisi aliran, dimana struktur aliran lokal turun drastis dan kemudian konstan sebagai fungsi waktu. Pengukuran ketebalan film dari tiga titik menunjukkan bahwa flooding terjadi lebih awal pada sisi bagian atas dekat sisi masuk air.

Abstract

Batimung is a cultural practice that has existed since the Majapahit era and has been preserved by the Banjar community for generations. The implementation of batimung is specifically intended for prospective brides to prevent excessive sweating. Additionally, batimung is also used as a traditional treatment. The research aimed to explore the utilization of batimung for beauty treatments and traditional healing. The research methodology employed was exploratory, using qualitative data collection techniques. The findings of this research include the tradition of batimung as a beauty treatment which was conducted before marriage for prospective couples to collect their sweat. On the other hand, batimung was also practiced as a traditional healing method, aiming for well-being and treatment within the Banjar community. The herbal ingredients used in batimung include lemongrass, pandan leaves, ginger, wood shavings, and fragrances such as rose petals, jasmine flowers, and patchouli leaves. The equipment used in the batimung tradition includes stove, pot, covering cloth, mat, small chair, and stirrer. The procedure of batimung involves removing all clothing first, then wearing a sarong as a covering. The person undergoing batimung then lies on a mat, which has been infused with boiled herbs for approximately 30 minutes. After the batimung process, individuals may receive a massage and body scrub, which is optional. Subsequently, individuals are allowed to take a bath to maximize the effects of the batimung ritual. The purpose and benefits of practicing the batimung tradition were to enhance beauty, traditional healing, eliminate sweat odor, and refresh the body.

Abstract

Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) has various benefits as antihypertensive, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antioxidant and antibacterial. This research aims to determine the benefits of roselle petals as an antihypertensive using a literature study method with data sources obtained from a data base. Searches for scientific articles were carried out on databases, namely Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar and Research Gate using the keywords "Rosella petals as antihypertensive", "Rosella as antihypertensive", "Rosella petals", "Hibiscus sabdarifa L.", "Antihypertensive" and "Antihypertensive ”. From the results of data searches from the three data bases published in 2018-2023, screening was carried out through titles and abstracts as well as inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in 12 articles which were final analyzed. Based on the review that has been carried out, the results show that roselle petals contain anthocyanin and quercetin compounds which are included in the flavonoid group to reduce blood pressure which works through a mechanism that inhibits inflammation, leading to vasodilation which causes increased blood pressure and functions as an ACE inhibitor. Roselle petals are also useful in lowering the pulse rate, as antioxidants and neoroprotective properties. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that roselle petals are useful as antihypertensives

Abstract

Multiphase flow channel is commonly applied in various industrial contexts, including lab-on-a-chip, nuclear power plants, microelectronics cooling systems, and chemical microreactors. Equipment ranging from mini to micro sizes plays a vital role in enhancing heat and mass transfer processes during the mixing of two or more phases. Non-uniform phase distribution during the passage of a two-phase flow through a T-junction can cause performance issues in the downstream region. A problem arising from the use of T-junctions is the occurrence of slugs. An experimental study was conducted to investigate the effect of varying bend radius on the flow characteristics in the downstream region of a T-junction minichannel, such as slug velocity and frequency. The slug velocity was researched in the downstream region of the horizontal minichannel T-junction. The working fluid used was air as the gas phase and water. The findings indicate that there is a linear relationship between the superficial velocities of air and water and the corresponding slug velocity in the downstream area of the horizontal minichannel T-junction, as observed through the utilization of a high-speed camera and MATLAB program for image processing. It has been observed that the local velocity within the channel increases as the corner radii increase towards the downstream region.

Abstract

Perancangan interior cafe creamilky merupakan fasilitas publik berupa cafe es krimyang di latar belakangi oleh adanya peningkatan konsumsi es krim di indonesia danmelimpahnya komoditas susu sapi di Boyolali. Perancangan ini mengusung temaes krim yang diwujudkan dengan penerapan karakteristik es krim yang lembut,halus dan manis ke dalam desain seperti meminimalisir garis tegak lurus danmengamplikasikan beberapa transformasi desain bentuk es krim pada interior.Perancangan ini juga dikemas dengan gaya kontemporer yang memiliki desainmodern dan bentuk yang lebih dinamis. Maka dari itu, perancangan ini harusmemperhatikan beberapa pendekatan yaitu, pendekatan teknis, pendekatan fungsi,pendekatan ergonomi, pendekatan tema dan gaya, serta pendekatan warna sehinggadapat mewujudkan desain yang aman, nyaman dan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Metode perancangan yang digunakan ialah metode dari PamudjiSuptandar dengan melalui tiga tahap perancangan yaitu input, sintesa dan output.Batasan ruang lingkup garap pada perancangan ini antara lain area cafe, areakeluarga, ruang workshop, dapur, lobby kantor, ruang pimpinan, ruang karyawandan ruang rapat.

Abstract

The Directorate General of Taxation is the agency responsible for managing state revenues through Service Offices in each region. Employees who work in tax service offices are required to perform well for the benefit of the agency. This research functions to analyze the relationship between modernization of tax administration and job rotation on the performance of the Account Representative (AR) of the Madya Semarang Tax Service Office (KPP) with Motivation as a mediation variable.This research uses quantitative approach that use questionnairy to collect the necessary data. The sample in this study was 48, obtained through the census method. The analysis used to process the data is path analysis with SmartPLS software. The results show that whether the presence or the unpresent of Tax Administration Modernization or not, ARs are still required to perform according to the standards set by the agency and are still required to work optimally after receiving the job rotation decision. Modernization of Tax Administration can increase AR motivation. AR motivation tends to be stable after employees are rotated to a new place, but high motivation can increase AR performance significantly. The findings in this research show that optimal Tax Administration Modernization can improve AR performance supported by high AR motivation.
