Abstract

The majority of the Sentulan Village community, Probolinggo Regency, have children at the MI level. As a result of the Covid 19 pandemic, these children almost every day have to operate smartphones and the internet as communication tools as their media in online learning (via online). The community also realizes that their children will be at risk of being exposed to various adult content. So it is considered important to equip children with the right information about gender and sexuality based on their age and stage of development to answer the challenges of the rapid growth of the digital era. Through community service, this is carried out with students of the Islamic University Zainul Hasan Genggong through the Real Work Lecture Program (KKN) and using the ABCD (Asset-Based Community-driven Development) method. The results can be concluded that sex education is very important to be given since children are at an early age. In addition, after the program was completed, there was a positive change in the behavior of the children of Sentulan Village, Probolinggo Regency.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe arithmetic algorithm on transaction em­ployed by Blij h. The study was a qualitative approach by means of case study in Madurese community. The data were gathered through observation and interviews. The partisipants of this study were 8 Blij h living in Paiton, Probolinggo. The data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman model. The results of this study obtained some arithmatics algorithm of addition, subtraction, multipication, and division. This paper, however, will only focus on addition and subtraction algorithm. The data reveals that there are several differences in the algorithm used by Blij h and the one taught at school. The results of this study could be used as one of teaching and learning approach to develop numerical and mental calculation skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan adanya kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh siswa SMP Zainul Hasan 1 Genggong kelas VIII ketika mencoba menyelesaikan soal Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum berupa materi geometri dan pengukuran, fungsi linier dan grafiknya,literasi membaca serta aljabar berdasarkan langkah pemecahan masalah menurut teori van hielle. Pemberian tes berupa soal AKM serta pengambilan sampel sebanyak 9 siswa untuk dilakukan wawancara merupakan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Akan tetapi karena tingkat kemampuan siswa terbagi menjadi tingkat kemampuan tinggi,sedang dan rendah, dengan tingkat kemampuan rendah lebih mendominasi sebanyak 92,9%, maka sampel hanya diambil sebanyak 3 orang.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwasanya: 1) Siswa berkemampuan tinggi baik dalam memahami masalah(pengenalan),menganalisis masalah dan mengurutkan penyelesaian , serta cukup baik dalam melaksanakan rencana dan melihat kembali hasil yang diperoleh. 2)Siswa berkemampuan sedang baik dalam memahami masalah (pengenalan),menganalisis masalah,merencanakan masalah dan masih kurang baik dalam mengurutkan penyelesaian, dan melihat kembali hasil yang diperoleh.3) Siswa berkemampuan rendah baik dalam memahami masalah (pengenalan),menganalisis masalah dan masih kurang baik dalam mengurutkan penyelesaian, merencanakan masalah dan melihat kembali hasil yang diperoleh.
