Abstract

Good administration indicates that the quality of governance of an institution can also be stated well. This administration is done in order to smooth the achievement of institutional goals, where the archives and documents can be used as a reference for planning, monitoring and evaluation. So the process of gathering, recording, managing, sending and storing into a series of administrative process for each institution. Library and Archives Merangin District which is a government agency that certainly undergoes administrative process is quite complicated, considering this agency also serves the needs of reading public. The administrative service is really expected to accommodate the needs of the community which is certainly in harmony with the vision of the institution that is 'professional in the service of arranging and managing the library and archives of the region'.
