Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of compensation and communicationon job satisfaction and performance of employees of the plant.The analytical toolis a two-stage regression with SPSS 17 for windows. The research method is descriptivequantitative. Samples are employees of the plant amounts to 126 people. Data collectiontechniques are questionnaires and interviews.Results from this research indicate that: (1)Compensation and communication together affect the job satisfaction of employees ofthe plant. (2) Compensation effect on job satisfaction of employees of the plant (3) Communicationaffect the job satisfaction of employees of the plant. (4) Job satisfaction affectthe performance of employees of the plant.Results of the research have implicationsfor compensation and communication of employees that needs to be improved in order toincrease job satisfaction and if employees satisfaction in the plant increases, the performanceof employees of the plant will also increase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indragiri (STIE-I) Rengat.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kompetensi dosen dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kompetensi pedagogik Dosen Baik  dengan skala 3,89, kompetensi Profesional Dosen Baik dengan skala 3,76, kompetensi Kepribadian Dosen Baik dengan skala 4,10, kompetensi Sosial Dosen Baik dengan skala 3,97.Persamaan regresi linear adalah SPSS di ketahui bahwa konstanta (a) adalah 12,326. dan koefisien X1 adalah 0,150 X2  adalah 0,107, X3  adalah  0,350, X4 adalah 0,350 dengan persamaan regresi berganda adalah Y = 12,326 + 0,150 X1 + 0,107X2 + 0,350 X3 + 0,350 X4. Nilai koefisien korelasi diketahui bahwa kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional, kompetensi kepribadian dan kompetensi sosial mempunyai hubungan dengan (Y) motivasi belajar. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai koefisien korelasi berganda R adalah 0,8138 artinya memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat serta searah. dan selanjutnya  diuji dengan Koefisien determinasi berganda (R2) adalah  0,669. hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional, kompetensi kepribadian dan kompetensi sosial dapat memberikan sumbangan terhadap variabel (Y) motivasi belajar  sebesar 66,9 %. Dan sisanya 33,1 % di pengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Kompetensi Profesional memberikan pengaruh tertinggi yaitu sebesar 46,6%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership and work mutations on employee job satisfaction. The study was conducted with quantitative methods, namely research that describes the influence of leadership and work mutations on employee job satisfaction at PT. Arvena Sepakat Indragiri Hulu. By analyzing the data using multiple regression, correlation coefficients, and hypothesis testing which will later be assisted by using SPSS version 21. From the results of the study with the regression equation Y = 0.744 + 1.386 X1 + 0.892 X2. a = constant of 0.744 means that employee job satisfaction is 0.744 if X1 (leadership) and X2 (work mutation) are equal to 0 (zero). b1 = leadership regression coefficient of 1.386 shows that every increase in leadership by one unit and other variables (work mutations) remain, then there will be an increase in employee job satisfaction of 1.386. b2 = regression coefficient of work mutation of 0.892 shows that every increase in work mutations by one unit and other variables (leadership) remains, then there will be an increase in employee job satisfaction of 0.892. The correlation coefficient is known that R is 0.826 meaning that it has a very strong and unidirectional relationship. and then tested with the multiple determination coefficient (R2) is 0.682. this shows that (X1) leadership and (X2) work mutations together can contribute to the variable (Y) employee job satisfaction of 68.2%. And the remaining 31.8% is contributed by other variables. Hypothesis testing on a significant level = 5% where F arithmetic (83.702)> F table (3.11) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that leadership variables and work mutations together have a significant influence on employee job satisfaction at PT. Arvena Sepakat Indragiri Hulu, and based on a partial test where t counts (5,786)> from t table (1,990), then Ho is rejected by Ha, it means that leadership has a significant influence on employee job satisfaction and t count (3,665)> than t table (1,990) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means work mutation has a significant influence on employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the village of Kuala Kilan, Batang Cenaku District - Indragiri Hulu Regency. The type of data used in this study is primary data obtained from the recapitulation of questionnaires from the Village Apparatus and Community Institutions of Kuala Kilan Village. The analysis that I use is Simple Regression Analysis using SPSS (statistical package for social sciences) version 21 to get the output to conclude the results of this study. The results of the study concluded that the Management Information System (SIM) affected the Performance of Apparatus and Social Institutions in Kuala Kilan Village, Batang Cenaku Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency, it can be seen that the calculated t value was greater than t table (4,875> 2,03951). Based on data testing criteria, it can be seen that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the Management Information System (SIM) partially influences the Performance of Apparatus and Community Institutions.
