Banyak industri di Indonesia yang menggunakan pektin, mulai dari industri makanan dan minuman hingga industri tekstil. Indonesia merupakan negara pengimpor dan pemakai pektin yang cukup besar. Alternatif dari permasalah ini adalah pemanfaatan limbah kulit buah naga (Hylocereus polyrhizus). Untuk produksi pektin, umumnya menggunakan pelarut asam seperti HCl dan H2SO4, karena sifatnya yang toksik maka pada penelitian ini digunakan pelarut asam asetat dan etanol 96%. Dengan menggunakan variabel temperatur dan waktu ektraksi diketahui pengaruhnya terhadap karakterisasi pektin yang dihasilkan. Karakterisasi pektin antara lain yield, kadar abu, kadar air, berat ekivalen, kadar metoksil, kadar asam galakturonat dan derajar esterifikasi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa yield pektin pelarut asam asetat tertinggi pada temperatur 70oC selama 60 menit sebesar 13,51% dan terendah pada temperatur 50oC selama 30 menit sebesar 1,74%. Namun hasil dari pelarut etanol 96% merupakan massa campuran karena etanol melarutkan zat warna, pektin dan sukrosa. Massa campuran tertinggi pada pada temperatur 70oC selama 180 menit sebesar 0,076% dan terendah pada temperatur 50oC selama 30 menit sebesar 0,029%. Pektin yang dihasilkan merupakan pektin dengan bobot molekul tinggi dan bermetoksil tinggi. Mutu pektin yang dihasilkan tinggi karena kadar asam galakturonat semakin tinggi dan derajat esterifikasi yang berbanding terbalik.

This study aims to prove the effect of training, skill in using technology, and level of education to productivity of women enterpreneur in Palembang. This study is conducted with quantitative method using primary data through a survey of women enterpreneur in Palembang. Totally 50 questionnaires are distributed to the women enterpreneur while there are only 42 (84%) complete questionnaires used in this study. The data analyses technique use validity, reliability, test of classical assumption, and hypothesis includes multiple linear regression analysis. The results of study indicate that the training of enterpreneur, the skill in using technology, and level of education gave effect to productivity. Determination Coefficient Test (R ²) shows Adjusted R Square of 0.783. This indicates that 78% of the Productivity variable can be explained by the variables of entrepreneurship training, ability to utilize technology, and education.

The growth of Palembang city coloured by many international events causes souvenir firms develop. Informal sector is a kind of firm which helps family economy. From the phenomenon, there came this research is intended to analyze the capacity of finance resource, intangible assets, and financial performance of the souvenir firms. This research only concerns with small and medium souvenir firms in Palembang city. Data were collected by using questionaires, while method to test the hypothesis used descriptive and regression analysis by SPSS24. The results of this research showed that Intangible Asset more influence in financial performance than financial resource. The role of Intangible assets increased five more times the financial performance, while financial resource only influenced half of it.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of Sunset policy and Taxpayer Awareness of Taxpayer Compliance in Paying Vehicle Tax in Palembang City. The method used in this research is convenience sampling. The convenience sampling technique is done by taking respondents as a sample to whom happened to meet with the researcher. The population in this study is the motor vehicle taxpayers who live in the city of Palembang. The sample of research used in this research is 122 respondents. Analyzer used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis by using SPSS 21.0 program.,The results of this study indicate that vehicle tax bleaching and taxpayer awareness have a positive effect on taxpayer compliance in paying motor vehicle taxes.

Pandemi Covid 19 telah membuat perekonomian terpuruk dan melambat sementara kebutuhan harian terus berjalan. Menyikapi hal ini berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk dapat meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga. Pemanfaatan limbah plastik dari bungkus permen menjadi topik yang akan diangkat dalam upaya kreatifitas mengubah sampah menjadi barang yang mempunyai nilai. Dalam pengabdian dosen kali ini peserta pelatihan merupakan para ibu rumah tangga dari PUB Samanthabadra. Pelatihan diawali dengan materi Motivasi wirausaha, perencanaan keuangan keluarga, Sehat dalam Masa Pandemi Covid 2019, dan diakhiri dengan praktek membuat Kreatifitas bungkus permen membentuk buah-buahan. Dengan tetap menjalankan Protokol Kesehatan, pelatihan di akhiri dengan memberikan apresiasi pada tiga kelompok terbaik dalam membuat kreatifitas buah.

Research on the analysis of the effect of gender diversity, institutional ownership, and firm size on financial performance using the population of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Sampling was done by purposive sampling method as many as 65 companies. This study wants to see the effect of gender diversity, institutional ownership, and firm size on financial performance. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis obtained that Ha is accepted, namely institutional ownership has a positive effect on financial performance. While the hypothesis for the gender of the board of directors, the gender of the board of directors and the size of the company shows that H0 is accepted, namely the gender of the board of directors, the gender of the board of directors, and the size of the company does not have a positive effect on financial performance
