Abstract

inside it, but the price is really high because of the poor supply chain system. This research conducted in Lirung District in Talaud Regency, with period of two months started from March ? May 2017. This research is qualitative research with descriptive study. The primary data is from interviewing the actors involve in supply chain system from upstream into downstream which is: farmer, collector, croupier, big retailer and retailer. the research find that, the supply chain needed to be redesign based on the situation and condition on the field by focusing on Time Efficient scenario, Cost efficient scenario, and Mix scenario, by removing big retailer and Croupier actors. The actors should maintain a good relationship and conducting continues transaction of the material flow with a professional payment system and proper communication, so there will be no bullwhip effect on the supply chain. The supply chain that recommended is based on Cost efficient and the government is needed to take a part in the supply chain as the croupier because government has the resources and ability to conduct that task. So there will be a transparency and flexibility in sharing information of market demand and price.Keywords: management, supply chain, logistic, supply chain management, chili commodity.

Abstract

Abstrak: Informasi tentang Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) yang sulitdiprediksi sangat penting bagi investor untuk pengambilan keputusan berinvestasi di pasar modal. IHSG merupakan indeks yang merangkum perkembangan harga-harga saham di BEI (Bursa Efek Indonesia), sehingga fluktuasi IHSG akan memengaruhi kondisi pasar modal di Indonesia apakah dalam posisi bullish atau bearish. IHSG merupakan indeks yang menunjukkan pergerakan harga saham secara umum yang tercatat di bursa efek yang menjadi acuan tentang perkembangan kegiatan di pasar modal. Faktor yang mempengaruhi IHSG adalah kurs, inflasi dan BI rate. Tujuan peneliitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kurs, inflasi dan BI rateterhadap IHSG.  Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian asosiatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial Kurs  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan, secara parsial Inflasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan, secara parsial BI Rate berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan dan secara simultan Kurs, Inflasi dan BI Rate berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan. Saran perusahaan harus memperhatikan faktor kurs yang ada  yang berarti dengan adanya perubahan kurs akan mempengaruhi indeks harga saham gabungan.Kata kunci : kurs, inflasi, BI rate, indeks harga saham gabungan

Abstract

Abstract: An automotive industry has an important role in boosting Indonesia's economic growth. Every company has an expectation to sustainably operate, but there are financial risks that may interupt the operation. Therefore the automotive and component industries need an assessment of financial performance as a description of the financial condition. If the financial performance is good then the firm value will be good. One indicator that affects the firm value is price to book value (PBV). PBV can be used to indicate about the stock value. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of financial ratios on the price to book value (PBV). For this purpose the study, use the data of 12 companies listed in IDX from 2007-2016 periods and a panel data regression with random effect model. Based on results, there are a positive relationships among ROA, current ratio and debt to asset ratio, and the price to book value. In addition, the effect of ROA on price to book value is significant. While the current asset and debts to asset ratio have no significant effect on price to book value.Keywords: roa, current ratio, debt to asset ratio, price to book value, panel data regression

Abstract

Abstract: Credit assessment for sovereign is generally done by a Credit Rating Agency such as Standard & Poor’s that increase Indonesia rank as a good news for the investment sector in Indonesia, also firm’s variables such as size used  for trading strategies that can outperform the market. This study aims to analyze the market reaction to the announcement of Indonesia Investment Grade. The method that used is event study methodology. Sample used 22 companies of LQ 45 in IDX. Analysis using the 7-days window period with daily stock price and market index. The expected return calculated by market model. T-Test be used to examine the significance of Average Abnormal Return around the announcement. The results of the study is there is a significant abnormal return the day after the announcement of Investment Grade. Another aims in this research is to analyze is whether firm size related to market reaction. The data used is daily market capitalization. The method used is three panel data model : Pooled Model, Fixed Model, and Random Model. Throughout the three models, the firm size hypothesis has positive significant relationship on abnormal return. Abstract

Abstract: Manado city is experiencing a rapid economic development, it can be seen from the minimum wage which is the third largest in Indonesia and the largest in Sulawesi Island. This condition attracts some new retailers to do market expansion in Manado City, two of the latest entrance are Giant Ekstra and Transmart Carrefour. Their brand awareness is not as good as other retailers, meaning people in Manado are still evaluating whether these stores suit their shopping preference or not.  Previous research found that store image has a positive effect on store loyalty through store satisfaction which may lead to more spending of money in the stores. The result of this research may later be used as a strategy for both stores. A casual type of research is adapted which uses primary data obtained through questionnaires and uses Ordinal Regression Analysis. The population is the people in Manado who already have shopping experience in both stores with 200 respondents as the sample size. The results turns out that Store Image does not significantly affects Consumer Spending. For recommendations, the retailers in Manado better give more effort in upgrading their pricing system and product quality control rather than upgrading their store image.Keywords: Store Image, Consumer Spending, Consumer Behavior, Retail

Abstract

Abstract : Indonesia is one of the largest countries in the world with amount of its people that increasing massively each year. It can be seen in most of the big city in Indonesia, where the level of unemployment is high, yet the job field is narrowing to zero. It caused by phenomena where some people who live in villages go to big city, try to push their luck to get a job, hoping that it can change their life, and of course to support their family. But the reality is not what they expected. Some of them are lucky enough to get a job, even though it is a lower management position in a company, but some of them turn out to be a criminal, just to fulfill their needs, in order to survive. At the end of the day, it causing a various criminal form of action, including cybercriminals. There is an issue in Indonesia right now where fraudulent practices are increasing in E-Commerce sectors and it comes in any form, such as fraudulent by mobile texting, offering a fake promotion with big rewards, email scamming and many more. The victim itself mostly are older people with age range 50 years old until 65 years old, where they are an active smartphone user and social media addict, yet they are lack of awareness about how the fraudulent practices work. Abstract

Abstract: There are two things which influence consumer buying behavior, namely compulsive and impulsive buying behaviors. The purpose of this research is to find out the difference between consumer behaviors of compulsive and impulsive buyer based on power prestige, retention time, distrust, anxiety, and demographic factors in Manado. This is a comparative research, using Independent Sample T-Test and Multiple Linear Regressions as analytical tools. On the other hand, the data collected in a survey on 200 respondents. The result shows that there is a significant difference based on power prestige, retention time, and distrust but there is no significant difference on anxiety between compulsive and impulsive buyer in Manado. Meanwhile the result of multiple linear regressions test based on impulsive buying shows that only anxiety that has no significant impact on impulsive buying. For compulsive buying, the result shows that power prestige, anxiety, age education, occupation, and income significantly affect compulsive buying, but retention time and distrust have no significant impact on compulsive buying. Consumers that buy impulsively have to start making a plan or make list of things that they want to buy before they go into the shopping centers. Consumers with compulsive buying behavior need to gain control over their shopping decisions.Keywords: comparative analysis, compulsive buying, impulsive buying, money attitudes, age, education, occupation, income.

Abstract

Abstract: Redenomination is simplification of nominal value of currency without reducing the real value of the money. Over 30 countries in the world had redenominated their currency. Previous researches had been discussed the reason behind redenomination, the adaptation process, the impact from economy perspective and also from business perspective. This paper aims to discuss much further about the impact of redenomination from business perspective with real case and evidence, more than just a prediction and opinion. Turkish manufacturing companies are selected to be the sample of research to mirror what may occur in Indonesian manufacturing companies. Financial statement analysis is used to describe the performance of the companies before and after redenomination. Wilcoxon Test, Mann Whitney U Test, and Multiple Linear Regression are used to analyze the data. This paper finds that redenomination does not have significant effect on the companies financial performance. The findings also suggest that profitability of firms decreases at the year of redenomination. Additionally, there is a significant increase in sales after redenomination due to the presence of money illusion. This research recommends that at the year of redenomination companies should be focusing on themselves instead of making strategies to face redenomination. Companies must be ready with the supply to make sure all demand will be fulfilled. Companies must also manage its operating cost, so the higher demand and sales will not result in an excessive operating cost. Keywords: redenomination, turkish companies, financial performance

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji reaksi investor di pasar modal Indonesia terhadap peristiwa kebijakan registrasi kartu prabayar yang dikeluarkan oleh Pemerintah melalui Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika (Menkominfo) nomor 14 tahun 2017 pada perusahaan Telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di BEI. Event Study digunakan sebagai metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini dengan tanggal pengumuman kebijakan, tanggal pemblokiran tahap I, tanggal pemblokiran tahap II, dan tanggal pemblokiran total sebagai event nya. Ada 5 perusahaan sektor telekomunikasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik paired sample t-test yang didukung oleh program spss versi 22. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara abnormal return sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman kebijakan, pemblokiran tahap I, dan pemblokiran tahap II namun terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada pemblokiran total yaitu pada H-5 vs H+5. Sedangkan hasil analisis reaksi investor pasar modal terhadap kebijakan registrasi kartu prabayar menggunakan trading volume activity menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Diharapkan bagi investor agar dapat dengan cepat menganalisis apakah kebijakan registrasi kartu prabayar yang dikeluarkan oleh Menkominfo ini dapat menjadi sebuah informasi yang bisa menjadi kabar baik ataupun kabar buruk bagi pasar modal khususnya pada perusahaan Telekomunikasi.Kata Kunci : reaksi investor, kebijakan registrasi kartu prabayar, event study

Abstract

Abstrak: Indeks LQ-45 merupakan kumpulan 45 saham yang sangat banyak di minati investor karenakan korelasi indeks LQ-45 denga IHSG sebesar 99,99%. Ketika indeks LQ-45 naik, maka IHSG menguat dan sebaliknya. Hal ini di karenakan saham – saham dalam indeks LQ-45 rata – rata merupakan saham yang memiliki nilai kapitalisasi pasar yang besar, sehingga memiliki pengaruh secara langsung terhadap IHSG. BEI juga menentukan kriteria untuk saham-saham agar dapat masuk ke LQ-45: (1). Masuk dalam peringkat 60 besar dalam 12 bulan terakhir, dengan melihat nilai transaksi (Volume Perdagangan) (2 ). Memiliki ranking terbesar berdasarkan rata – rata kapitalisasi pasar selama 12 bulan terakhir(3). Emiten telah terdaftar di BEI minimal 3 bulan terakhir. Peneliti juga menambahkan variabel yang berkaitan yang sama pentingnya ROA, dan PDB dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahaui apakah variabel – variabel di atas berpengaruh terhadap keluar masuknya saham di LQ-45 secara signifikan. Analisis data menggunakan IN/OUT Konsep Regresi Logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Kapitalisasi Pasar, ROA, dan PDB memiliki pengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan keluar masuknya saham di LQ-45. Sedangkan variabel Volume Perdagangan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan.Kata kunci :Kapitalisasi Pasar, Volume Perdagangan, ROA, PDB, keluar masuk (IN/OUT) saham LQ45.
