Abstract

 Abstract: The banking sector plays an important role in supporting and increasing the economic rate in country. Bank with high level of soundness is a bank that can perform its functions well, therefore, optimal management of the banking sector can provide economic stability in a developed country and make developing countries ready to compete economically of both national and international level. This study is aimed to determine the influence of Risk-Based Bank Rating (RBBR) Method on Profitability of Private-Owned banks in Indonesia. In this study, population refers to the banks listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, using purposive sampling technique and sample size of 6 Private-Owned Banks that have total assets more than 100 trillion in rupiahs. By using multiple regression analysis method, the result and conclusion show that Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Earnings and Capital simultaneously and significantly influence Profitability of 6 Private-Owned Banks in Indonesia.  Furthermore, Market Risk and Earnings have significant and positive influences on Profitability. Credit Risk and Liquidity Risk have significant and negative influences on Profitability. Nevertheless, Capital has no significantly influence on Profitability. The banks’ management must consider the importance of the risk management because those factors above have effect banks profitability. Keywords: risk-based bank rating, profitability

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi konsumen, sikap terhadap niat pembelian produk label sendiri Di Indomaret. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kausal. Ini juga disebut sebagai penelitian eksplanatori. Studi ini diadakan di masyarakat Manado, pada bulan Januari sampai Maret 2017. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pelanggan Indomaret Manado. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, model analisis regresi dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dan uji F. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis khususnya model penelitian ditemukan bahwa model penelitian yang terdiri dari: persepsi konsumen, dan sikap konsumen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat beli. Model ini berlaku untuk produk ritel label sendiri Indomaret di Manado. Persepsi konsumen dan konsumen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat beli produk label sendiri di Indomaret Manado. Persepsi konsumen menjadi variabel dampak tertinggi kedua pada niat beli dalam penelitian ini. Sikap konsumen menjadi variabel dampak paling tinggi terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dalam penelitian ini. Rekomendasi adalah: perusahaan waralaba berbasis ritel seperti Indomaret harus memperhatikan temuan penelitian ini. Hal ini memusatkan perhatian pada berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi niat beli, terutama produk label sendiri di Indomaret. Hal ini penting karena produk label sendiri adalah produk yang menjadi produk dengan merek Indomaret yang memiliki margin keuntungan lebih tinggi dibandingkan produk di luar label pribadi Indomaret. Kata Kunci : preferensi konsumen, proses hirarki analitis, kendaraan offroad kabin ganda

Abstract

Abstract: The advanced payment system has shifted the role of cash as a means of payment to the form of non-cash payment to be more efficient and economical. In Indonesia there are 10 banking sectors that have obtained permission from Bank Indonesia and in Manado E-money product that comes from State-owned banks are the most popular in the society, which are: BRIZZI from BRI, Tapcash from BNI, E-cash and E-money from Mandiri bank. The purpose of this research is to analyze the actual usage and the preferences of electronic money users by State-owned banks in Manado. This study uses descriptive qualitative research to describe the customer’s perception and their preferences by using E-money in State-owned banks in Manado from 22 informants by used semi in- depth interviews. The result of the research shows that E-money users from State-owned banks in Manado have received and used electronic money as a means of payment. However, the volume of transactions in using E-money is insufficient due to the lack of supported payment facilities. The e-money users have the same preference in using e-money because it is easy to use and many promotions are given. The E-money issuer prefer to develop the infrastructure to support E-money payment. Keywords: e-money and state-owned bank

Abstract

 ABSTRACT: One of the investment instruments available in this era is stock investment. Stock price movements can be closely linked to a country's macroeconomic conditions. There are many of research that has been conducted in terms of stock investment. However, investors are wiling to spend their funds in this type of investment, in order to attain greater return. This research aim to analyze the relationship between macroeconomic variables and stock market price from sector 2 in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research is conducted to examine the simultan and partial influence between stock market price in and macroeconomic variables such as world oil price, interest rate, gross domestic product, sectoral stock price and money supply. Secondary data is the sources for this research, it will be based on quarterly data from January 2006 to December 2016. Time series regression is be the method that used to analyze the data.. The results reveal that the independent variables simultaneously influence stock market price, and by partially, the results confirm that money supply and sectoral stock price are significantly influence the stock market price.Keywords: Stock market price, world oil price, interest rate, gross domestic product, sectoral stock price, and money supply.

Abstract

Abstract: Small and Medium Enterprises have significant roles in developing Indonesia?s economy. That is why developing SMEs is crucial to do and developing the whole power of SMEs should start from every single SME in Manado including empowering the core business process of SMEs including in culinary SMEs. In culinary SMEs, providing the food is the most critical aspect to do. This is where the logistic management became crucial as a business activity that supports the Production and Operation Management. Logistic Management key activities considered as the indicators in determining the current logistic management performance and strategies applied by the culinary SMEs to reach the satisfying level of logistic management performance which are the purpose of this research. Using Qualitative research methodology, nine culinary SMEs owner represented each of nine districts in Manado were being interviewed and the result showed that the logistic management performance of culinary SMEs in Manado is in proper condition and the culinary SMEs in Manado also have particular strategies that applied to their businesses and there are total of 10 logistic management strategies that generated from this research.Keywords: logistic management, small and medium enterprises.

Abstract

Abstract : Entrepreneurship development in the last few years has indeed become an issue of economic institutions ranging from regional, national and even international. There are several motivations for people who would like to reach what they want to achieve. Some of the people say they want to become entrepreneurs because they can make money on their own and set their own rules. This study aims to test the influence of motivational factors as antecedent variables on student’s entrepreneurial intention. Three motivational factors are obtained in this research which are Tolerance for Risk, Need for Achievement, and Self-efficacy. These factors were adapted to explore on student’s perceptions toward entrepreneurial intention, the survey information collected from 100 students of Faculty of Economics and Business Sam Ratulangi University, and the sample used in this research is the students in 6th (student who have already studied entrepreneurship). The results indicate that students have high motivation for involving the tolerance for risk, need for achievement, and self-efficacy conversely influences directly positively and significantly to entrepreneurial intention. For University, should concern about this issues because it has the closest relationship with students life.Keywords: motivational factors, tolerance for risk, need for achievement, self-efficacy, entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract: Hotel Lagoon and Four Points have a place in the central shopping area and both hotels are very strategic, access to go to the mall is very easy. which makes this hotel has a difference is to parked in the lagoon hotel is very easy to find and the location of the hotel lagoon is quite far from the streets, lagoon hotel is located behind the Bahu Mall, while for Four Points own place one with Manado Town Square, for parking also had to share with Mantos and in the end it was difficult to find an empty parking lot. The location of the four points hotel is close to the streets so for access using public transport more easily. the price offered is also different. for the size of hotels such as lagoon can be categorized as luxury hotel but the price given by the hotel is cheaper than the four points hotel. while the price offered by four points higher., in terms of hospitality Hotel Lagoon has employees who cater to visitors very friendly and faster to respond than the Four Points, and seen from the design Lagoon has a spot to take pictures for the hobby by taking pictures and also distinguishes the Lagoon and Four points from its design, for the building design between the Lagoon and the more luxurious Four Points Lagoon than the Four Points. ­­Keywords: price, hospitality, design

Abstract

Abstract: The behavior of switching becoming a serious problem especially in services companies such as bank. The behavior of customers switch banks negatively affect profit and market share. This research was designed to identify the effect of price and bank reputation on customer switching behavior of Bank Rakyat Indonesia in Manado simultaneously and partially. A quantitative method was applied to analyze data collected using convenience sampling. The result of this research showed that price and bank reputation have a significant effect on customer switching behavior of Bank Rakyat Indonesia in Manado simultaneously and partially. Bank Rakyat Indonesia in Manado needs to continue the policies concerning price such as the bank charges, interest for credit and saving, and all of the various of transaction in bank, and always mantain the reputation of bank and financial stability to improve customer trust and loyalty to subscribe and reduce the customer behavior to switch to another bank. Further research is expected to cover larger areas or regions with different demographics, especially in larger cities, so as to be able to see the switching behavior more comprehensively, not just specifically in Manado city, so the results can be compared.Keywords: switching behavior, price, bank reputation

Abstract

Abstract: This research titled: The Influence Of Change Management And Organizational Culture To Employee Performance Study At Sam Ratulangi University Rectorate. This study aims to determine the impact of change management and organizational culture on employee performance simultaniously and partially. Total sample are 75 respondents. The research was conducted at Sam Ratulangi University Rectorate office in Manado City North Sulawesi Province. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, t test and F test. The results showed that, change management has significant and positive impact on employee performance, change management become the highest impact factor to employee performance compare other variable in this research. Organizational culture has significant and positive impact on employee performance, organizational culture become the lowest impact factor to employee performance compare other variable. Suggestion of this research is Sam Ratulangi University in order to improve the employee performance of this organization should focus first of all on the change management also the organizational culture as the proxy of employee performance. Keywords: change management, organizational culture, employee performance

Abstract

Abstract: Banking is one of sectors that drive the economy in Indonesia. One of them is Regional Development Bank that is scattered throughout Indonesia, each have different performance based on the state of the region itself. Judging from the character of Indonesia is an agricultural country, of course, the economic character formed historically, geographical conditions also have an important role in the economy of a region. PT. Bank SulutGo and PT. Bank Papua is a Go Public bank located in eastern Indonesia. This study aims to determine the differences in financial performance between PT. Bank SulutGo and PT. Bank Papua by using RBBR method analysis. The method of this research is comparative analysis. The results show the financial performance seen from ROA there is no a significant difference, whereas if viewed from NPL, LDR, GCG, NIM, and CAR there are a significant difference. PT. Bank SulutGo and PT. Bank Papua management should not only satisfied with the results already obtained and continue to improve the company's performance in order to further increase in the future.Keywords: financial performance, regional development bank, rbbr method
