Abstract

Technology that is increasingly developing produces equipments in the form of information, communication, production, transportation and entertainment facilities. Most of the equipments produce noises. Noise can be reduced by using acoustic dampers. This study aims to determine the potential for sound absorption from rice husks and straw as natural acoustic materials. Materials used include rice husks, rice straw, and resin. 12 cylindrical samples were made. Samples that have been made are tested using a sound absorption measuring instrument that is the impedance tube to measure the value of the sample sound absorption coefficient. The test results show the value of the sound absorption coefficient (?) can be influenced by the thickness. At a frequency of 500 Hz the value of the sound absorption coefficient (?) for each sample is 0.034dB; 0.030dB; 0.030dB; 0.027dB; 0.026dB; 0.027dB; 0.025dB; 0.025dB; 0.025dB; 0.024dB; 0.024dB; 0.023dB; 0.023dB. The sample material is good in research on materials 1 and 2 which have a sound absorption of 0.034 dB and 0.030 dB.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan alat pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban terintegrasi dengan internet berbasis NodeMCU melalui WEB sebagai media informasi pada budidaya jamur tiram. Alat pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban telah dikembangkan dengan mengkombinasikan sensor DHT11, NodeMCU, dan sketch program Arduino IDE sebagai pengirim data ke WEB dan relay sebagai saklar pompa. Hasil eksperimen telah memperlihatkan data pada WEB serta relay dapat menyalakan pompa saat alat mendeteksi kelembaban <80% dapat menyirami rak jamur tiram sedangkan saat alat mendeteksi kelembaban >80% relay mematikan pompa dan hasil panen tanpa perlakuan rata-rata perhari 1kg sedangkan dengan perlakuan rata-rata perhari 2kg. Demikian dapat disimpulkan alat pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban mampu memberikan informasi dan membantu menaikkan hasil panen petani jamur tiram.

Abstract

This research is aimed to improve the understanding of the concept and the motivation of learning physics students on inclined plane material class of Eighth grade of MTs NU I'anatuth-Thullab Mutih Kulon Demak School Year of 2020/2021. This study conducted at the eighth grade of students as the subject consisting of 29 students. This class action research was conducted as much as one cycle consisting of three meetings. The results of pretest data were given moments before the implementation of virtual laboratory media. Based on PhET (Physics Education Technology) simulation, the researcher got different results with the posttest given after the implementation of learning using virtual laboratory media by using PhET. The results of the pretest reached 25% on understanding of student concepts, and there was increased after using the media through posttest which is 75%. There was increased on percentage through understanding of student concepts in inclined plane materials using virtual laboratory media by 50%, the percentage of student learning motivation increased on inclined plane material by 28%, and in the data after using virtual laboratory media got a good category at 76%.
