Abstract

Manthûq pengaruhnya sangat besar sekali dalam pemahaman Al-Qur’an. Makaseorang mufassir harus menguasainya. Pengaruhnya dapat membuat penafsiranyang berbeda. Tanpa menguasai Manthûq akan menjadikan penafsiran tidakkredibel, tidak akan mengerti dengan teks dan tekstual. Memahami Manthûq dapatmenetapkan hukum dalam ayat tersebut dan bisa dijadikan hujjah. Dalamkajiannya Manthûq akan berpengaruh dalam pemahaman ayat. Manthûq terbagikepada lima bagian. Pertama, Nash (lafaznya mengandung makna tegas, tidakkepada makna yang lain). Kedua, Zhâhir (selain menunjukkan satu makna,menerima ada makna dengan qarinah yang tidak terbatas). Ketiga, Mu’awwal(lafaz diartikan dengan makna yang lemah karena menghalangi penggunaanpemaknaan yang kuat). Keempat, Dalâlah Iqtidhâ’ (kebenaran petunjuk lafazbergantung pada yang tidak disebutkan). Kelima, Dalâlah Isyârah (lafazmenunjukkan makna yang tidak dimaksud pada mulanya).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu mempercepat kinerja teknisi untuk mengdiagnosa kerusakan laptop, melakukan analisis dan pengujian sistem serta untuk melakukan implementasi sistem pakar diagnosa kerusakan pada laptop  menggunakan metode Forward Chaining. Metode Pengumpulan data untuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam sistem pakar diagnosa kerusakan laptop yaitu observasi, metode wawancara, serta melakukan studi Pustaka. Metode Pengembangan Sistem yang digunakan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D).

Abstract

Good and orderly management of student scores in each lesson is the hope of every teacher to make various decisions regarding their students easier. This goal may be realized if teachers have good computer literacy, especially in terms of using Microsoft Excel. However, many of them have still not maximized the use of this program. Based on estimation, it was concluded the teachers at SMA Putra Bangsa Depok had not maximized the use of Microsoft Excel for managing their students' scores. So, the community service team, through this community service, tried to provide education and disseminate knowledge regarding the optimal use of Microsoft Excel program that it could be used as a guide in maximizing of the objectives of implementing each activity which are expected to be achieved. The result provides an increase in teachers’ computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel.

Abstract

Challenges such as disinterest in learning media and poor conversation structuring skills impact English speaking proficiency among Indonesian senior high school students. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control groups in a 2 x 3 factorial pre-test-post-test format to investigate how learning media and mastery of discourse markers affect speaking skills. One hundred students from a State Islamic High School in Serang participated. Data were collected through a speaking assessment and a discourse markers test, then analyzed using inferential statistics and Two-Way ANOVA. Results indicate that the effectiveness of learning media on speaking outcomes is contingent upon the student's mastery of discourse markers. Specifically, Scrabble was more effective than Flashcards at improving speaking performance for students with varying levels of discourse marker proficiency. These findings underscore teachers' need to adopt engaging English learning media and intensively teach discourse markers to enhance students' speaking abilities.

Abstract

Reading English text is often regarded as a difficult task by English for Specific Purposes (ESP) students during their individual reading time. Therefore, this research investigates the impact of a small group discussion on ESP students’ online text reading performance and strategies. The quantitative research, employing a pre-experimental design, purposively recruited 90 students from the Computer Science and Engineering Faculty. The data were collected through pre- and post-assessments on reading comprehension and a survey on reading strategies. Analyzed using SPSS 27.0, the data of the research show that the small group discussion highly affects reading performance of ESP students. Besides, their reported reading strategy use demonstrates a high frequency of use in all three strategy categories (PROB, GLOB, SUP), with no significant difference found in all categories by age and major. In conclusion, the implementation of a small group discussion in the ESP classroom can effectively improve the online text reading performance and develop reading strategies of the students. It also positively implies that educators can employ a small group discussion to promote other reading aspects in various educational settings.
