Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to produce problem solving instruments with appropriate contextual math problems in accordance with the needs of teachers and students in Junior High School. The method used in this research is the development method (R & D) with the model adapted from Sugiyono. The result of data analysis showed that: (1) the teacher positively stated that the teacher needed the problem solving instrument with a mathematical problem of contextual context which is feasible to be used in mathematics learning and 90% of the 20 students agreed if test problem solving with math problem good and worthy; (2) The problem solving instrument with a contextual mathematical problem is an instrument in the form of a written test that involves the process of problem solving and is made based on the context of the problems encountered in everyday life or related to the environment that can be observed or experienced by real research subjects as well as researchers; and (3) The developed instrument meets the criteria worthy means that the test instrument has valid indicator, realibel, has medium difficulty level, high distinguishing ability or minimum enough, and able to identify student ability in solving contextual mathematics problem according to each student's ability.Keywords : Problem Solving, Contextual Math Problems

Abstract

Pandemi Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) yang terjadi di seluruh dunia akhirnya memaksa sekolah untuk menyelenggarakan pembelajaran daring. Penyelenggaraan yang mendadak memunculkan pertanyaan apakah guru sebagai pelaksana lapangan sudah siap untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring, mengingat pengukuran kesiapan baik faktor teknologi, inovasi, manusia, dan pengembangan diri perlu dilakukan agar dapat memperoleh manfaat yang sebenarnya dari penyelenggaraan sistem pembelajaran daring. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesiapan guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring yang dilaksanakan di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini adalah mixed method yang dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket kepada para guru di SMA/SMK Katolik di Kota Pontianak dan Kabupaten Kubu Raya Kalimantan Barat melalui bantuan form daring lalu menganalisis data kuantitatif dengan pemberian skor pada hasil angket, kemudian dilakukan wawancara untuk mendapatkan informasi lebih mendalam. Berdasarkan data penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa secara keseluruhan SMA dan SMK Katolik di Kota Pontianak dan Kabupaten Kubu Raya telah siap melaksanakan pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

Cognitive flexibility in learning mathematics is necessary to solve problems with various mathematical ideas. In completing assignments, students have different perspectives so as to bring up creative solutions that encourage problem-solving skills. This study aims to determine students' cognitive flexibility level in high school mathematics learning. This quantitative descriptive research aims to describe the contents of a variable in research, without being intended to test a particular hypothesis. The source of data used in this study was class XI students in Pontianak City totaling 173 people. Data is collected by questionnaire with data analysis calculating the percentage index results of questionnaire answers. Based on the results of the questionnaire categorizing the level of cognitive flexibility ability of students in learning mathematics, it was found that there were 39 students with the category "very high" cognitive abilities, 115 students in the "high" category, and 19 students in the "moderate" category. This shows that most high school students in Pontianak City on average have high cognitive flexibility abilities in mathematics learning. This data is supported by the statements of mathematics teachers who describe the ability of students to achieve cognitive flexibility, of course, with maximum effort in teaching. From a teaching point of view, mathematics teachers have certainly considered more innovative teaching techniques in order to grow these abilities.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills as 21st Century Education paradigm requires educators to integrate the latest ideas in learning. This research was conducted to find information and knowledge about students' critical thinking skills using Project Based Learning (PjBL) Worksheets. With an analytical review, researchers can classify the problems faced by students in their critical thinking efforts, then determine the logical relationship of the problems that occur. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach with a data source of 120 students divided into groups in the Research Methodology course. The results showed that the PjBL Worksheet supports students' critical thinking skills in gathering information, describing problems, evaluating project results, and solving problems that are the project's target. This can be seen in the results of observing group activities and the project assessment rubric that according to indicators of students' thinking skills, shows that most study groups are able to analyze problems, actively seek references regarding the project to be made and its benefits, actively complete the design, and show the best possible results of the project.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of limited face-to-face learning using a cooperative jigsaw model on learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Colleges. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest and posttest design. The sample in this study was students totaling 30 people. Data collection techniques used are test measurements. Based on data analysis using the normality test and the Wilcoxon test, it is known that the significance value is 0.000 <0.5 or tcount <ttable with the conclusion: Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is an effect of limited face-to-face learning on learning outcomes using the Jigsaw cooperative jigsaw model. Keywords: Limited Face-to-Face Learning, Cooperative Jigsaw Model, Learning Outcomes Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar di Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Katolik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pretest and posttest one group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pengukuran tes. Berdasarkan analisis data dengan menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji wilcoxon, diketahui nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,5 atau thitung < ttabel dengan kesimpulan: Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, yang artinya terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas terhadap hasil belajar menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Jigsaw.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas, Model Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

ABSTRACT The advancement of the electronic communication medium is still ongoing on occasion. This trend is consistent with people's occasionally growing desire for access to the internet. The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly altered many aspects of life, including interaction and religion. The capacity to adjust to these advancements in digital technology is likewise required of bishops, priests, nuns, and catechists. Incorporating media edification in catechesis as an alternative to catechizing media, catechists can employ social media. Social communication medium, for example can be through Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and others. The competencies of the catechists are necessary in order to use social media. Based on these issues, it's essential to provide counselling for the catechists.Keywords: social communicating media, catechists ABSTRAKMedia komunikasi digital terus mengalami perkembangan dari masa ke masa. Perkembangan ini sejalan dengan kebutuhan manusia akan dunia internet yang terus meningkat dari waktu ke waktu. Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang cukup memengaruhi berbagai hal termasuk cara beribadah dan juga berkomunikasi. Para uskup, pastor, biarawan-biarawati termasuk para katekis juga harus dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan kemajuan-kemajuan teknologi digital ini. Termasuk memperbaharui media dalam berkatese. Para katekis dapat menggunakan media komunikasi sosial sebagai alternatif media berkatekese.  Media komunikasi sosial tersebut misalnya melalui Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, dan lain-lain. Untuk menggunakan media komunikasi sosial tersebut, diperlukan kecakapan dari para katekis. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu dilaksanakan penyuluhan terkait pemanfaatan media komunikasi sosial dalam berkatekese yang bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan kepada para katekis tentang jenis-jenis media sosial yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam berkatekese.  Kata Kunci: Media Komunikasi Sosial, Kateki

Abstract

Studi ini memfokuskan tentang upaya optimalisasi pemanfaatan media audipo visual yang digunakan para Katekis sebagai umat Katolik menuju Era Society 5.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan Mixed Method tipe Covergent Parallel Design, dimana peneliti menggunakan data hasil angket dan wawancara secara bersamaan untuk mengidentifikasi seberapa kuat pemanfaatan media audio visual tersebut digunakan dan bagaimana cara memanfaatkan media tersebut dalam berkatekese . Hasil membuktikan bahwa para Ketekis di Keuskupan Agung Pontianak mampu memanfaatkan media audio visual secara maksimal dan tergolong kuat. Hal ini menjelaskan bahwa Katekis dapat membuat media yang mampu menarik minat umat terhadap materi katekese seperti pengetahuan tentang iman Katolik, doa harian maupun kata-kata bijak. Adapun media audio visual yang digunakan Katekis berupa media interaktif yang menarik seperti Power Point/Canva untuk media presentasi dan aplikasi TikTok/Kinemaster untuk membuat video/film. Selain itu untuk kemudahan akses, katekese juga menyebarkan media tersebut secara virtual conference dengan aplikasi meeting online.
